ஆதவன் தியானம்

"கர்த்தர் உன் ஆக்கினைகளை அகற்றி, உன் சத்துருக்களை விலக்கினார்; இஸ்ரவேலின் இராஜாவாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் நடுவிலே இருக்கிறார்; இனித்தீங்கைக் காணாதிருப்பாய்." ( செப்பனியா 3 : 15 )
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குத் தங்களை அர்ப்பணித்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும் மக்களை அவர் என்றும் கைவிடுவதில்லை. துன்பங்கள் நம்மைத் தாக்குவதுபோலத் தெரிந்தாலும் முற்றிலும் அவை நம்மை ஆட்கொள்வதில்லை. ஆம், "மனுஷருக்கு நேரிடுகிற சோதனையேயல்லாமல் வேறே சோதனை உங்களுக்கு நேரிடவில்லை. தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்; உங்கள் திராணிக்கு மேலாக நீங்கள் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறதற்கு அவர் இடங்கொடாமல், சோதனையைத் தாங்கத்தக்கதாக, சோதனையோடுகூட அதற்குத் தப்பிக்கொள்ளும்படியான போக்கையும் உண்டாக்குவார்" 1 (கொரிந்தியர் 10:13)
இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் தேவ பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தேவன் கூறும் மூன்று முக்கியமானக் காரியங்களைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். அவை:-
இராஜாவாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் நடுவிலே இருக்கிறார்
உன் ஆக்கினைகளை அகற்றுகிறார்
இனித்தீங்கைக் காணாதிருப்பாய்
அதாவது, நாம் அவருக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார். இராஜாவாக அவர் நமக்குள் இருப்பதால் நாம் அதிக நம்பிக்கையுடன் உலகினில் வாழமுடியும். நமது நாட்டின் பிரதமர் அல்லது முதலமைச்சர் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றாரென்றால் அது நமக்கு எவ்வளவு பெலன்!! அப்படியானால் இந்த உலகத்துக்கே இராஜாவானவர் நம்மோடு இருப்பது நமக்கு எத்தகைய அதிக பாக்கியமாக இருக்கும்!!!
மேலும், நமக்குள் இருக்கும் கிறிஸ்து செயல்பட்டுக்கொண்டே இருக்கின்றார். நமது பாவ சாப காரியங்கனை நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் இருக்கும்போது நாம் பாவத்துக்கு மரித்தவர்கள் ஆகின்றோம். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "மேலும் கிறிஸ்து உங்களிலிருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 10 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.
இறுதியாக இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "இனித்தீங்கைக் காணாதிருப்பாய்." அதாவது, இத்தனைநாளும் பல்வேறு தீங்குகள் நம்மைத் தொடர்ந்திருக்கலாம் ஆனால் இனி அப்படித் தொடராது. காரணம் இராஜா நம்மோடுகூட இருக்கின்றார். "நான் உன்னுடனேகூட இருக்கிறேன், உனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்யும்படி ஒருவனும் உன்மேல் கைபோடுவதில்லை; இந்தப் பட்டணத்தில் எனக்கு அநேக ஜனங்கள் உண்டு என்றார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 18 : 10 ) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலிடம் தேவன் கூறவில்லையா? நமக்கு எதிராக அல்ல, மாறாக நமக்காக ஆதரவாக பல மக்களை தேவன் உருவாக்குவார்.
அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுருவும், "நீங்கள் நன்மையைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களானால், உங்களுக்குத் தீமைசெய்கிறவன் யார்?" ( 1 பேதுரு 3 : 13 ) என்று கேள்வி எழுப்புகின்றார். கிறிஸ்து நம்மோடு இருக்கும்போது நாம் பாவம் செய்யமாட்டோம், துன்மார்க்கச் செயல்களில் ஈடுபடமாட்டோம், நன்மையான வழியிலேயே நடப்போம். எனவே நமக்கு யாரும் தீங்கு செய்வதில்லை என்று பேதுரு கூறுகின்றார்.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழும்போது நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் இவைகள். இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துவை நமக்குள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வாழ முயற்சியெடுப்போம்; தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

MEDITATION

"The
Lord has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your
enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you will no longer
fear disaster." (Zephaniah 3:15)
God
never forsakes the people who dedicate themselves to Christ and live a life
acceptable to Him. Even when troubles seem to attack us, they do not completely
overtake us. Indeed, "No temptation has overtaken you except something
common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted
beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of
escape also, so that you will be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians
10:13)
In
today's meditation verse, we see three important things that God speaks to the
children of God. They are:
The King, the
Lord, is in your midst
He takes away
your judgments
You will no
longer see disaster
That
is, when we live a life acceptable to Him, the Lord is with us. Because He is
within us as King, we can live in this world with great confidence. If the
Prime Minister or Chief Minister of our country were with us, what a source of
strength that would be! How much greater a privilege it is, then, to have the
King of the entire world with us!
Furthermore,
the Christ who is in us is continually at work. He removes our sinful and
accursed ways from us. Yes, dear friends, when Christ is in us, we become dead
to sin. The Apostle Paul expresses this very point: "If Christ is in
you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of
righteousness." (Romans 8:10)
Finally,
today's meditation verse says, "You will no longer see disaster."
That is to say, various harms may have pursued us all these days, but they will
no longer do so. The reason is that the King is with us. Did not God say to the
Apostle Paul, "for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm
you, for I have many people in this city"? (Acts 18:10). God will
raise up many people not against us, but to support us.
The
Apostle Peter also raises the question: "Who is there to harm you if
you prove zealous for what is good?" (1 Peter 3:13). When Christ is
with us, we will not commit sin, we will not engage in wicked deeds, and we
will walk in the way of goodness. Therefore, Peter says that no one will harm
us.
These
are the blessings we receive when we live in a manner acceptable to Christ. Let
us make every effort to receive this Christ into our hearts and live in Him;
let us receive God's blessings.
