🦋 Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 6 / Song of Solomon 1:6

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1932

📆2026 மே 23, சனி        

"நான் கறுப்பாயிருக்கிறேன் என்று பாராதேயுங்கள்; வெய்யில் என்மேற்பட்டது; என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகள் என்மேல் கோபமாயிருந்து, என்னைத் திராட்சைத்தோட்டங்களுக்குக் காவற்காரியாக வைத்தார்கள்; என் சொந்தத் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தையோ நான் காக்கவில்லை." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 6 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இந்த உலகத்தில் மற்றவர்களால் அற்பமாக எண்ணப்பட்டு புறக்கணிக்கப்படும் ஆவிக்குரிய ஒரு பெண் (மணவாட்டி) கூறுவதாக உள்ளது. 

தனது இழிவான நிலைகுறித்து அவள் கூறுகின்றாள். வெய்யிலில் வேலை செய்து என் உடல் கருப்பாக மாறிவிட்டது; அப்படி வேலை செய்ய வைத்தது வேறு யாருமல்ல, என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகள் என்கின்றாள் அவள். அதாவது அவளது உடன்பிறந்த சகோதர சகோதரிகள். தனது சொந்த வேலைகளைகூடச் செய்யவிடாமல் அவளைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்தித் தங்களுக்குத் தோட்டக் காவல்காரியாக வைத்தார்கள். வெய்யிலில் உழைத்து உழைத்து அவளது தேகம் கருத்துப்போனது. ஆனால் என் சொந்தத் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தையோ நான் காக்கவில்லை; அதனைக் காக்க அவர்கள் என்னை விடவில்லை என்கின்றாள் அவள். 

இதுபோலவே ஆவிக்குரிய மக்கள் பலர் உலகத்தில் தங்கள் குடும்பத்தினராலும் சமூகத்தினராலும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். அடிமைகள்போல நடத்தப்படுகின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவன் அவர்களது உள்ளான மனதினை அறிவார். இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அவள் தன்னைப் புறக்கணிக்கும் மக்களுக்குத் தனது வேதனையை வெளிப்படுத்திக் கூறுகின்றாள்,  "நான் கறுப்பாயிருக்கிறேன் என்று பாராதேயுங்கள்". 

வெளி அழகைப்பார்த்து, எனது ஏழ்மை நிலையைப்பார்த்து  என்னை ஒதுக்காதீர்கள் என்று அவள் கூறுகின்றாள். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் வெளி அழகையோ செல்வத்தின் திரட்சியையோ பார்த்து நம்மை நேசிப்பதில்லை. அவர் மனிதர்களின் இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கின்றார். "மனுஷன் பார்க்கிறபடி நான் பாரேன்; மனுஷன் முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பான்; கர்த்தரோ இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கிறார்".(1 சாமுவேல் 16 : 7)  என்று நாம் வாசிக்கவில்லையா? 

ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்தப்பெண் இந்த உண்மையினை அறிந்திருந்தாள். எனவே அவள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கூறுகின்றாள்,  "எருசலேமின் குமாரத்திகளே! கேதாரின் கூடாரங்களைப்போலவும், சாலொமோனின் திரைகளைப்போலவும் நான் கறுப்பாயிருந்தாலும், அழகாயிருக்கிறேன்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 5 ) அதாவது உலகிற்கு நான் கருப்பாக அழகற்றவளாக இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் என் தேவனுக்குமுன் நான் கறுப்பாயிருந்தாலும், அழகாயிருக்கிறேன் என்று நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூறுகின்றாள். 

மற்றவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணி அவர்களைப் புறக்கணிப்பது, குறிப்பாக அவர்களது பொருளாதாரக் குறைவு, உடல் அமைப்பு, நிறம் இவற்றைக்கொண்டு மற்றவர்களைப் புறக்கணிப்பதைத் தேவன் வெறுக்கின்றார். அவரே அனைத்து ஆத்துமாக்களையும் உண்டாக்கியவர்.  அவர் தனக்கான மக்களை அழகிப்போட்டி நடத்தியோ ஆணழகன் போட்டி நடத்தியோ தேர்வு செய்வதில்லை. மாறாக, இருதயத்தைக் கவனித்துப்பார்த்தே  தேர்வுசெய்கின்றார். 

இப்படி மற்றவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணி அவமதிப்பவர்கள் தங்களது பாவ நிலைக்கு தேவனிடம் மன்னிப்பைக் கேட்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அதுபோல, இன்று இத்தகைய அவமதிப்புக்கும் புறக்கணிப்புக்கும் உள்ளாகியிருப்பீர்களென்றால் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கையில் பின்மாற்றமின்றி தொடர்ந்து  விசுவாசத்துடன் இந்தப்பெண் கூறுவதுபோல கூறிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் "நான் கறுப்பாயிருந்தாலும், அழகாயிருக்கிறேன்" என்று. ஆம் தேவனுக்குமுன் நெருக்கமான இத்தகைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் நாமே அழகானவர்கள்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" 🌳 Meditation — No. 1932

"Do not stare at me because I am swarthy, for the sun has burned me. My mother’s sons were angry with me; they made me caretaker of the vineyards, but I have not taken care of my own vineyard." — Song of Solomon 1:6

Today’s meditation verse reflects the words of a spiritual woman (the bride) who is looked down upon and rejected by others in this world.

She speaks of her humbled, lowly state. Her skin has grown dark from working under the scorching sun. And those who forced her to work this way were none other than her "mother’s sons"—meaning her own siblings. They compelled her to guard their vineyards, leaving her with no time to even attend to her own responsibilities. Labouring endlessly under the sun, her complexion darkened. She laments, "but I have not taken care of my own vineyard," because they simply did not allow her the opportunity to do so.

In the same way, many spiritual people in this world are oppressed by their own families and society. They are treated like slaves. But God knows their innermost heart. In today's verse, she pours out her grief to the people who reject her, saying, "Do not stare at me because I am swarthy [dark]."

She is pleading, "Do not cast me aside based on my outward appearance or my poverty." Yes, dearly beloved, God does not love us based on outward beauty or the abundance of wealth. He looks at the human heart. Do we not read:

"...for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." — 1 Samuel 16:7

This oppressed woman knew this truth well. Therefore, she declares with joy:

"I am black but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon." — Song of Solomon 1:5

In other words, she confidently proclaims that though she may appear dark and unattractive to the world, before her God, she is beautiful just as she is.

God detests it when people look down on others and reject them—especially when that rejection is based on their financial lack, physical appearance, or skin colour. He is the Creator of all souls. He does not choose His people by holding beauty pageants or physical fitness contests. Instead, He chooses them by examining their hearts.

Those who look down upon and insult others in this manner must ask God for forgiveness for their sinful state. Likewise, if you are experiencing such insults and rejection today, do not fall back in your walk with God. Continue forward in faith and declare confidently, just as this woman did: "I may be dark, but I am lovely." Yes, we who live a close, intimate life before God are the ones who are truly beautiful.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 23 : 24 / Jeremiah 23:24

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1931

📆2026 மே 22, வெள்ளி       

"எவனாகிலும் தன்னை நான் காணாதபடிக்கு மறைவிடங்களில் ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடுமோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நான் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் நிரப்புகிறவர் அல்லவோ என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 23 : 24 )

இந்த உலகினில் துன்மார்க்கச்செயல்களைச் செய்யும் பலரும் அவற்றை பிறரிடமிருந்து மறைப்பதற்கும் நீதிமன்றங்களிலிருந்து தண்டனைகளைப் பெறுவதைத் தவிர்க்கவும் பல்வேறு குறுக்கு வழிகளையும் உபாயங்களையும்  கையாண்டு அவற்றில் வெற்றியும் பெற்றுவிடுகின்றனர்.

கொலை, கற்பழிப்பு, களவு, ஊழல் செய்த பலரும்கூட தண்டனைகளிலிருந்து தப்பிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, பெரிய பதவிகளும் வகிக்கின்றனர். அவர்களது மனதினில் தங்களை யாரும் கவனிக்கவில்லை, தாங்கள் நல்லவர்கள் என்று மக்கள் நம்புகின்றனர் எனும் எண்ணமே இருக்கின்றது. தங்களது அவலட்சணமான குணங்களைக்குறித்து அவர்கள் கவலைப்படுவதுமில்லை. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அத்தகைய துன்மார்க்கர்களைப்பார்த்துத் தேவன், "எவனாகிலும் தன்னை நான் காணாதபடிக்கு மறைவிடங்களில் ஒளித்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடுமோ நான்  வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் நிரப்புகிறவர் அல்லவோ" என்று கூறுகின்றார். "அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய, கண்களுக்குமுன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவருக்கே நாம் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்." ( எபிரெயர் 4 : 13 )

உலக நீதிபதிகள்முன் லஞ்சம் கொடுத்தும் அதிகாரத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தியும் தண்டனைகளுக்குத் தப்பலாம். ஆனால் சர்வ லோகத்தையும் படைத்த தேவனுக்குமுன் இவை எதுவும் நம்மைத் தப்புவிக்காது. 

ஆனால் பொதுவாக, பணம், அதிகாரம் இவை மனிதர்களின் மனக்கண்களைக் குருடாக்கிவிடுகின்றன. எனவே அவர்கள் தங்களது துன்மார்க்கத்திலேயே வாழ்வைத் தொடர்கின்றனர். ஆழ்மனதில் மனச்சாட்சியின் உறுத்தல் இருப்பதால் அவ்வப்போது கடவுளுக்கு என்று பல்வேறு காணிக்கைகளையும் நேர்ச்சைகளையும் செலுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். கைகளில் பல்வேறு மந்திரித்தக் கயிறுகளையும் தாயத்துகளையும் கட்டிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கு மட்டும் எச்சரிக்கைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை: ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாகிய நாமும்கூட எச்சரிக்கையுடன் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம் எனும் எச்சரிப்பைத் தருகின்றது. இதனால்தான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "உம்முடைய ஆவிக்கு மறைவாக எங்கே போவேன்? உம்முடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டு எங்கே ஓடுவேன்? நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர்." ( சங்கீதம் 139 : 7, 8 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

எனவே நாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். பயந்த வாழ்க்கை என்றவுடன் எப்போதும் நடுநடுங்கி நாம் வாழவேண்டும் என்று பொருளல்ல, மாறாக "தீமையை வெறுப்பதே கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம்" என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது.  அதன்படி தீமையான காரியங்களுக்கு விலகி நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

பல்வேறு மலர் மாலைகளையும் நறுமணப்பொருட்களையும் அகர்பத்திகளையும் தேவனுக்கென்று படைப்பதையல்ல, மாறாக நமது நறுமணமான வாழ்க்கையை நாம் அவருக்குமுன் காண்பிப்பதையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். ஆம், "கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் அவருக்கு உகந்த வாசனையாயிருக்கும்"  ( ஏசாயா 11 : 3 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி நாம் அவருக்கு  வாசனையைத் தருபவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் நிரப்புகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குமுன் ஒளிவு மறைவற்ற நேர்மையான தூய வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை அவருக்கு ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

“Can a person hide himself in hidden places so that I do not see him?” declares the Lord. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 23:24)

In this world, many who commit wicked acts employ various shortcuts and clever schemes to hide their deeds from others and avoid facing punishment from the courts. They even find success in doing so.

Many who have committed murder, sexual assault, theft, and corruption not only escape punishment but also hold high positions. In their minds, they believe that no one is watching them and that people believe they are good. They do not care about their own wretched character.

In today’s meditation verse, God looks at such wicked people and says: “Can a person hide himself in hidden places so that I do not see him? Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?”

“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do”. (Hebrews 4:13)

Before earthly judges, one can escape punishment by offering bribes or using political power. But before God, the Creator of the entire universe, none of these things will deliver us.

Generally, however, wealth and power blind the spiritual eyes of human beings. Consequently, they continue to live in their wickedness. Because they feel the pricks of conscience deep within, they occasionally offer various offerings and vows to God. They tie various enchanted threads and amulets around their hands.

Beloved, today’s meditation verse does not give a warning to the wicked alone; it also warns us, as spiritual people, that we must live with caution. This is why the Psalmist says:

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there”. (Psalm 139:7-8)

Therefore, it is essential for us to live a life fearing the Lord. When we say a "fearing life," it does not mean we must live in constant trembling. Rather, the Scripture says, "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil." Accordingly, it is vital that we keep away from evil things.

God does not desire that we offer various flower garlands, perfumes, and incense sticks to Him; instead, He desires that we display a fragrant life before Him. Yes, just as it is written, "And He will delight in the fear of the Lord" (Isaiah 11:3), it is essential that we live our lives bringing a sweet aroma to Him.

Let us commit ourselves as a living sacrifice to the Lord God, who fills the heavens and the earth, so that we may live an honest, pure life without any concealment.

🦋 Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 6 : 6 / Matthew 6:6

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1930

📆2026 மே 21, வியாழன்      

"நீயோ ஜெபம்பண்ணும்போது, உன் அறைவீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, உன் கதவைப் பூட்டி, அந்தரங்கத்திலிருக்கிற உன் பிதாவை நோக்கி ஜெபம்பண்ணு; அப்பொழுது அந்தரங்கத்தில்பார்க்கிற உன் பிதா வெளியரங்கமாய் உனக்குப் பலனளிப்பார்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 6 )

இன்றைய தியானத்தில் ஜெபத்தைக்குறித்தச் சில முக்கியமான  சிந்தனைகளை ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்குத் தருகின்றார். 

இன்று பெரும்பாலான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் ஆலய வழிபாடுகள், ஆராதனைகள் இவைகளுக்கே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து தனி ஜெபத்தை மறந்தவர்களாக வாழ்கின்றனர்.  ஆலய வழிபாடுகளும் ஆராதனைகளும் தேவை என்றாலும் தனிமையின் அந்தரங்க ஜெபமே நம்மைத் தேவனோடு ஐக்கியப்படுத்தும்; நமக்கும் தேவனுக்குமுள்ள உறவை வலுப்படுத்தும்; பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளும் பலத்தை தனி ஜெபத்தின்மூலம் மட்டுமே நாம் பெறமுடியும். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஆலயங்களுக்குச் சென்றார். பல பண்டிகைகளில் கலந்துகொண்டார். ஆனால் அதே  வேளையில்  பிதாவோடு தனி ஜெபத்தில் அதிகநேரம் செலவிட்டார். "அவர் அதிகாலையில், இருட்டோடே எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, வனாந்தரமான ஓரிடத்திற்குப்போய், அங்கே ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்." ( மாற்கு 1 : 35 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், வனாந்தரம் தொந்தரவில்லாத இடம். மற்றவர்களின் இடையூறற்ற இடம். 

தனி ஜெபத்தை வேதம் ஏன் வற்புறுத்துகின்றது என்றால், தனி ஜெபத்தில் நாம் தேவனோடு தனிப்பட்டத் தொடர்பில் இருக்கின்றோம். அதாவது ஒரு நண்பனோடு உரையாடுவதுபோல நாம் தேவனோடு உரையாடுகின்றோம். இந்த ஐக்கியம் ஆலய வழிபாடுகளிலும் ஆராதனைகளிலும் பெரும்பாலும் நமக்குக் கிடைப்பதில்லை. இத்தகைய நமது தனிப்பட்ட ஜெபம் மற்றவர்களுக்குத் தெரியவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. அது தேவனுக்கும் நமக்குமிடையில் மட்டும் இருக்கவேண்டியது. எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "ஜெபம்பண்ணும்போது, உன் அறைவீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, உன் கதவைப் பூட்டி, அந்தரங்கத்திலிருக்கிற உன் பிதாவை நோக்கி ஜெபம்பண்ணு" என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறுகின்றார். 

நமது ஆலய ஆராதனையும் வழிபாடுகளில் நாம் கலந்துகொள்வதும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்டையாகத் தெரியும். ஆராதனைகளில் நாம் ஓன்று சேர்ந்து தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகின்றோம். ஆனால் நமது தனி ஜெபம் நமக்கும் தேவனுக்கும் மட்டுமே தெரியும். தனி ஜெபத்தை அந்தரங்கத்தில்பார்க்கிற பிதா வெளியரங்கமாய் நமக்குப்  பலனளிப்பார். எல்லா பரிசுத்தவான்களும் தனி ஜெபத்துக்கு அதிக நேரம் ஒதுக்கியவர்களே.

மேலும் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறுகின்றார், "அன்றியும் நீங்கள் ஜெபம்பண்ணும்போது, அஞ்ஞானிகளைப்போல வீண்வார்த்தைகளை அலப்பாதேயுங்கள்; அவர்கள், அதிக வசனிப்பினால் தங்கள் ஜெபம் கேட்கப்படுமென்று நினைக்கிறார்கள்" ( மத்தேயு 6 : 7 ) என்று.

நாம் ஜெபிக்கும்போது நமக்குத் தெரிந்த வசனங்களையெல்லாம் சொல்லிச் சொல்லித்தான் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டுமென்று அவசியமில்லை.  "உங்கள் பிதாவை நோக்கி நீங்கள் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கு முன்னமே உங்களுக்கு இன்னது தேவை என்று அவர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 8 ) எனவே, நமது இருதயம் தூய்மையாக இருந்து ஒரு பிள்ளைத்  தாய் தகப்பனிடம் உரிமையோடும் அன்போடும் பேசுவதுபோல நாம் தேவனிடம் பேசி அவரோடு ஐக்கியமாக இருந்து ஜெபித்தால் போதும்.  

பொதுவாகக் குடும்பங்களில் வயதான பெரியவர்களிடம் நேரம் ஒதுக்கிப்  பலரும் பேசுவது கிடையாது.  அத்தகைய முதியவர்கள் மனவேதனையுடன் இருப்பார்கள். இதுபோலவே வெறும் ஆலய ஆராதனைகளிலும் வழிபாடுகளிலும் கலந்துகொண்டு நாம் தனி ஜெபத்தைப் புறக்கணித்து வாழும்போது தேவனை மனவேதனை அடையச் செய்கின்றோம். தனி ஜெபமே தேவ ஐக்கியத்தை வளர்க்கும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அந்தரங்கத்திலிருக்கிற பிதாவை நோக்கித் தனிமையில் ஜெபிக்கும்போது  அந்தரங்கத்தில் பார்க்கிற நமது பிதா வெளியரங்கமாய் நமக்குப் பலனளிப்பார். இதுவரை தனி ஜெபத்தை மறந்து வாழ்ந்தவர்களாக இருந்தால் அதற்காக நேரம் ஒதுக்கி ஜெபிக்கப் பழகுவோம்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" Meditation – No. 1930

📆 May 21, 2026, Thursday

"But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." (Matthew 6:6, NASB)

In today’s meditation, the Lord Jesus Christ provides us with some vital insights regarding prayer.

Today, most Christians give priority to church services and corporate worship, while living a life that completely forgets personal, solitary prayer. Although church gatherings and worship services are necessary, it is the secret prayer of solitude that truly unites us in fellowship with God. It strengthens our relationship with Him. We can obtain the strength to overcome sin only through personal prayer.

Our Lord Jesus Christ visited the temples and attended various festivals. Yet, at the exact same time, He spent a vast amount of time in solitary prayer with the Father. We read:

"In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there." (Mark 1:35, NASB)

Indeed, the wilderness is a place free from distractions—a place uninterrupted by others.

The Bible emphasizes personal prayer because, in it, we are in a direct, one-on-one connection with God. It means we converse with God just as we would chat with a friend. This deep, intimate fellowship is rarely achievable during corporate church services and congregational worship.

This personal prayer of ours does not need to be known to others; it is meant to remain strictly between God and us. That is why, in today's meditation verse, Jesus Christ instructs: "But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret."

Our church attendance and participation in worship services are visible to everyone. In corporate worship, we join hands to glorify God together. However, our personal prayer is known only to us and God. The Father, who sees our personal prayer in secret, will reward us openly. All the great saints of God were individuals who dedicated substantial time to solitary prayer.

Furthermore, following today's meditation verse, Jesus Christ goes on to say:

"And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard because of their many words." (Matthew 6:7, NASB)

When we pray, it is not necessary to repeatedly recite every scripture verse we know just for the sake of it.

"So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him." (Matthew 6:8, NASB)

Therefore, if our hearts are pure and we communicate with God with the freedom, intimacy, and love of a child speaking to their mother or father—dwelling in fellowship with Him—that is more than enough.

Generally, in families, many people do not set aside time to sit and talk with the elderly. Such elders often live with a heavy, aching heart. Similarly, when we merely attend church services and ceremonies but completely neglect personal prayer in our lives, we grieve the heart of God. It is solitary prayer alone that nurtures true fellowship with God.

Yes, dearly beloved, when we pray in solitude to the Father who is in secret, our Father who sees in secret will reward us openly. If you have been living a life that has forgotten personal prayer until now, let us practice setting aside dedicated time for it.

🦋 Meditation verse - லேவியராகமம் 18 : 3, 4 / Leviticus 18:3-4

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1929

📆2026 மே 20, புதன்     

"நீங்கள் குடியிருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், நான் உங்களை அழைத்துப்போகிற கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும், என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்." ( லேவியராகமம் 18 : 3, 4 )

ஒருமுறை ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவ நண்பர் என்னிடம், "பிரதர், தேவன் அன்புள்ளவர், இரக்கமுள்ளவர் என்று கூறுகின்றீர்கள் ஆனால் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் எகிப்தில் அந்த மக்களைக் கொன்று அழித்தது, இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கொண்டு பல போர்கள் மூலம் கானான் தேசத்து மக்களை, குறிப்பாக பெண்கள் குழந்தைகளை  இரக்கமின்றி கொல்லச்சொன்னது போன்ற செயல்களைப் பார்க்கும்போது தேவன் இரக்கமுள்ளவர் என்று எப்படிச் சொல்ல முடியும்? என்று கேட்டார்.

நான் அவரிடம் சொன்னேன், "உங்கள் வீட்டுப் பழைய பொருட்கள் போடும் இடத்தில் நல்லபாம்பு (Cobra) ஒன்று பல நூறு குட்டிகளைப் போட்டுள்ளதை நீங்கள் அறிந்தால் என்ன செய்வீர்கள்?   ஐயோ, இந்தக் குட்டிகள்  பாவம், இப்போதுதான் பிறந்துள்ளன என்று அவற்றைக் கொல்லாமல் விடுவீர்களா? எல்லாவற்றையும் கொன்று அழிப்பீர்களல்லவா?  இதுபோலவே, பாவத்தைப் பார்க்கமாட்டாத சுத்தக்கண்ணரான பரிசுத்த தேவன் இருக்கின்றார். அருவெறுப்பான பாலியல் பாவங்களை அவர் வெறுக்கின்றார்.  அருவெறுப்பான பாவ சந்ததி வாழக்கூடாது என்று விரும்புகின்றார்."

"நண்பரே, லேவியராகமம் 18:6-23 முதலான வசனங்களில் எகிப்து தேசத்தாரும் கானானியரும் செய்த இத்தகைய பாலியல் முறைகேடான பாவங்களைக்குறித்துத்  தெளிவாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவேதான் தேவன் அந்தச் சந்ததியையே அழித்தார்." என்றேன்.  

ஆம், "இந்த அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குமுன் இருந்த அந்த தேசத்தின் மனிதர் செய்ததனாலே தேசம் தீட்டாயிற்று." ( லேவியராகமம் 18 : 26 ) எனவே, நீங்கள் குடியிருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், நான் உங்களை அழைத்துப்போகிற கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும், என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள் என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

தேவன் நம்மை மற்ற மக்களைப்போல நடத்தவில்லை. காரணம், நாம் தேவனுக்காக வேறுபிரிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் இனம். எனவே, "கர்த்தராகிய நான் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கிறபடியினாலே நீங்களும் எனக்கேற்ற பரிசுத்தவான்களாயிருப்பீர்களாக; நீங்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, உங்களை மற்ற ஜனங்களைவிட்டுப் பிரித்தெடுத்தேன்." ( லேவியராகமம் 20 : 26 ) என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

இதுபற்றி அந்த நண்பரிடம்  நான் கூறியபோது அவர் ஏளனமாகச் சிரித்துக்கொண்டு, "பிரதர், இவையெல்லாம் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் கட்டளைகள், நீங்கள் இவற்றை இந்தக்காலத்தில் கூறக்கூடாது" என்றார். நான் அவரிடம், "இவை புதிய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள கட்டளைகள்தான். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுவதை வாசித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்று கீழ்வரும் பகுதியைக் காண்பித்தேன்:-

"அநியாயக்காரர் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதில்லையென்று அறியீர்களா? வஞ்சிக்கப்படாதிருங்கள்; வேசிமார்க்கத்தாரும், விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரரும், விபசாரக்காரரும்,              சுயபுணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், ஆண்புணர்ச்சிக்காரரும், திருடனும், பொருளாசைக்காரரும், வெறியரும், உதாசினரும், கொள்ளைக்காரரும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பதில்லை." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 6 : 9,10 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பரம கானானுக்குள் நாம் நுழைந்திட பரிசுத்தமாக நமது உடலையும் உள்ளத்தையும் பாதுகாக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவே, நாம் எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அழிந்துபோன  கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும், கர்த்தருடைய  நியாயங்களின்படி செய்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு பரிசுத்தமாக நடப்போம். நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாக வாழ அவர் நம்மை மற்ற ஜனங்களைவிட்டுப் பிரித்தெடுத்துள்ளார்.  

எகிப்து, கானான் மக்களைப்போல அல்லாமல் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்காலத்தில் வாழும் நமக்கு ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தின்மூலம் இந்தப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து முழுமையான விடுதலை உண்டு. எனவே இத்தகைய பாவங்கள் நம்மிடம் இருக்குமானால் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அவற்றை அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டுவோம்.

“You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor shall you do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes. You are to perform My judgments and keep My statutes, to live in accord with them; I am the Lord your God.” — Leviticus 18:3-4 (NASB)

Once, a Christian friend asked me, "Brother, you say that God is loving and merciful. But when we look at the Old Testament—how He killed and destroyed people in Egypt, and how He commanded the Israelites through various wars to mercilessly kill the people of Canaan, especially women and children—how can we say God is merciful?"

I replied to him, "If you found out that a cobra had given birth to hundreds of offspring in the place where you keep old, discarded things in your house, what would you do? Would you leave them alone, thinking, 'Oh, poor things, these babies were just born'? Won’t you destroy and eliminate them all? Similarly, there is a Holy God whose eyes are too pure to look at evil. He detests abominable sexual sins. He wills that a corrupt generation of sin should not continue to exist."

"My friend," I continued, "verses like Leviticus 18:6-23 clearly describe the abominable sexual perversions committed by the people of Egypt and Canaan. That is precisely why God destroyed that generation."

Yes, the Scripture says:

"...for the men of the land who have been before you have done all these abominations, and the land has become defiled." — Leviticus 18:27 (NASB) (Note: Verse 26 in Tamil numbering)

Therefore, the Lord God commands us not to act according to the practices of the land of Egypt where we once lived, nor according to the practices of the land of Canaan where He is leading us, nor to walk in their customs, but to practice His judgments and keep His statutes.

God does not treat us like other people. The reason is that we are a people set apart for God. Therefore, the Lord God says:

"Thus, you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine." — Leviticus 20:26 (NASB)

When I shared this with that friend, he laughed scoffingly and said, "Brother, these are all Old Testament commandments. You shouldn't be preaching these things in this day and age."

I told him, "These commandments are repeated in the New Testament as well. Read what the Apostle Paul says," and I showed him the following passage:

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor reviles, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." — 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NASB)

Yes, dearly beloved, to enter the Heavenly Canaan, it is absolutely essential that we preserve both our bodies and our hearts in holiness. Therefore, let us not do according to the deeds of the Egyptians, nor according to the deeds of the perished Canaanites. Let us not walk according to their customs, but let us practice the judgments of the Lord, keep His commandments, and walk in holiness. He has set us apart from other peoples so that we may live as children of God.

Unlike the people of Egypt and Canaan, we who live in the New Testament era have complete deliverance from these sins through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, if any such sins are found in us, let us confess them to Christ and seek His forgiveness.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 25 : 4 / Isaiah 25:4

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1928

📆2026 மே 19, செவ்வாய்    

"கொடூரமானவர்களின் சீறல் மதிலை மோதியடிக்கிற பெருவெள்ளத்தைப்போல் இருக்கையில், நீர் ஏழைக்குப் பெலனும், நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமானீர்." ( ஏசாயா 25 : 4 )

 

தமிழ்நாட்டில் டிசம்பர் 26,  2004 அன்று சுனாமி தாக்கியதை நம்மில் யாரும் மறந்திருக்கமாட்டோம். அப்போது கடல் அலைகள் பனைமர அளவிற்கும் மேலான உயரத்தில் எழும்பி கரையைநோக்கி வந்து மிகப்பெரிய அழிவினை உண்டாக்கின.  சுமார் 8000 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் இதனால் உயிரிழந்தனர். இதுதவிர, கோடிக்கணக்கான பணமதிப்புள்ள சொத்துக்கள் நாசமாகின.

கொடூரமானவர்களின் சீறல் இதுபோன்றதே என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அது மதிலை மோதியடிக்கும் பெருவெள்ளத்தைப்போல இருக்கின்றது. இவர்களால் ஏற்படும் அழிவும் சுனாமி அழிவு போன்றதே. பல கொடுங்கோல் மன்னர்கள் மற்றும் ஆட்சியாளர்கள் இப்படி இருந்திருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் இத்தகைய கொடூரமான நேரங்களில் கர்த்தர் பாதிக்கப்படும் ஏழைகளுக்கு பெலனும், நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமாக இருந்திருக்கின்றார்.  

சென்ற நூற்றாண்டுகளில் ரஷ்யா சீனா போன்ற நாடுகளில் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள்மேல் ஒடுக்குதலும் நொறுக்குதலும் மிகக்கடுமையாக இருந்தது. பலர் உயிரிழந்தனர். கிறிஸ்தவ ஆலயங்கள் நொறுக்கப்பட்டு  வேதாகமங்கள் எரிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனாலும் பல விசுவாசிகள் விசுவாசத்தைக்  காத்துக்கொண்டு வாழ்ந்தனர். இதுபோல ஹிட்லரின் கொடுங்கோல் சட்டங்களுக்கும் தண்டனைகளுக்கும் பலர் பலியானாலும் அவர்களில் பலரை தேவன் அதிசயமான வழிகளில் பாதுகாத்தச் செய்திகள் பல உண்டு. 

இதுபோல தாவீது ராஜாவின் ஆரம்ப நாட்களில் அவரை அழித்திட மோதியடிக்கிற வெள்ளத்தைப்போல பல எதிரிகள் எழுந்தனர். ஆனால் தேவன் அவரை அவர்களது கைகளுக்குத் தப்புவித்தார். இதனால்தான் அவர், "கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கேடகமுமாயிருக்கிறார்; என் இருதயம் அவரை நம்பியிருந்தது; நான் சகாயம் பெற்றேன்; ஆகையால் என் இருதயம் களிகூருகிறது; என் பாட்டினால் அவரைத் துதிப்பேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 28 : 7 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எத்தனை பெரிய சத்துருவாக இருந்தாலும் கர்த்தரது பெயருக்குமுன் அவைகள் நிற்கமுடியாது. அத்தகையச் சத்துருக்களின் முன் கர்த்தருடைய வெற்றிக்கொடி பறக்கும். இதனை நாம், "அப்பொழுது சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்குந்திசைதொடங்கி கர்த்தரின் நாமத்துக்கும், சூரியன் உதிக்குந்திசை தொடங்கி அவருடைய மகிமைக்கும் பயப்படுவார்கள்; வெள்ளம்போல் சத்துரு வரும்போது, கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கொடியேற்றுவார்." ( ஏசாயா 59 : 19 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றபடி நமது கர்த்தர் ஏழைக்குப் பெலனும், நெருக்கப்படுகிற எளியவனுக்குத் திடனும், பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமாக இருக்கின்றார். அவரது வல்லமைமிக்க கரத்தின்கீழ் நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து வாழ்வோமென்றால் நமக்கு நிரந்தர பாதுகாப்பு உண்டு. 

கிறிஸ்தவத்தின் ஆரம்ப நாட்களில் அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் பல்வேறு நெருக்குதலுக்கும் ஒடுக்குதலுக்கும் உள்ளானார்கள். சாட்டை அடிகளும், சிறைச்சாலைகளும் அவர்களை அச்சுறுத்தின.  ஆனாலும் அவர்களோடு கர்த்தரது கரம் பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குத் தப்பும் அடைக்கலமும், வெயிலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் நிழலுமாக இருந்து பாதுகாத்தது. 

இன்று நமக்கும்  அடைக்கலமாகவும் புகலிடமாகவும் இருந்து நம்மைக் காப்பவர் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான். எனவே நாம் அவரையே சார்ந்துகொண்டு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அவரைக்குறித்து ஏசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரிசனமாக, "இதோ, ஒரு ராஜா நீதியாக அரசாளுவார்; பிரபுக்களும் நியாயமாகத் துரைத்தனம்பண்ணுவார்கள். அவர் காற்றுக்கு ஒதுக்காகவும், பெருவெள்ளத்துக்குப் புகலிடமாகவும், வறண்ட நிலத்துக்கு நீர்க்கால்களாகவும், விடாய்த்த பூமிக்குப் பெருங்கன்மலையின் நிழலாகவும் இருப்பார்" ( ஏசாயா 32 : 1, 2 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். மோதியடிக்கும் பெருவெள்ளமோ புயலோ அவரிடமிருந்து நம்மைப் பிரித்து அழிக்கமுடியாது. விசுவாசத்துடன் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடருவோம்.

"For You have been a defence for the helpless, a defence for the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a rainstorm against a wall." — Isaiah 25:4 (NASB)

None of us will ever forget the tsunami that struck Tamil Nadu on December 26, 2004. At that time, ocean waves rose higher than palm trees, surging toward the shore and causing immense devastation. More than 8,000 people lost their lives, and property worth billions was destroyed.

Today’s meditation verse compares the fury of the ruthless to just such an event. It is like a rainstorm or a flood crashing against a wall. The destruction caused by them is akin to the devastation of a tsunami. Many tyrannical kings and rulers throughout history have been like this. However, during such cruel times, the Lord has been a strength to the helpless poor, a defence to the oppressed needy, a refuge from the storm, and a shade from the scorching heat.

In past centuries, the oppression and crushing of Christians in countries like Russia and China were extremely severe. Many lost their lives. Churches were demolished, and Bibles were burned. Yet, many believers guarded their faith and survived. Similarly, though many fell victim to Hitler's tyrannical laws and punishments, there are numerous testimonies of how God miraculously protected many of them.

Likewise, in the early days of King David, many enemies rose against him like a crashing flood to destroy him. But God delivered him from their hands. That is why he declares:

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart triumphs, and with my song I shall thank Him." — Psalm 28:7 (NASB)

We also read that "...When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." (cf. Isaiah 59:19).

As today's meditation verse states, our Lord is a strength to the helpless, a defence to the oppressed needy, a refuge from the storm, and a shade from the heat. If we commit our lives under His mighty hand, we have permanent protection.

In the early days of Christianity, the apostles faced various pressures and oppressions. Whippings and imprisonments threatened them. Yet, the Lord's hand was with them, protecting them as a refuge from the storm and a shade from the heat.

Today, it is the Lord Jesus Christ who stands as our refuge and shelter, protecting us. Therefore, it is essential that we depend entirely on Him. Isaiah prophetically speaks concerning Him:

"Behold, a king will reign righteously and princes will rule justly. Each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land." — Isaiah 32:1-2 (NASB)

Neither a crashing flood nor a raging storm can separate us from Him or destroy us. Let us continue our spiritual journey with unwavering faith.

🦋 Meditation verse - யாத்திராகமம் 10 : 26 / Exodus 10:26

 💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1927

📆2026 மே 18, திங்கள்   

"எங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களும் எங்களோடேகூட வரவேண்டும்; ஒரு குளம்பும் பின்வைக்கப்படுவதில்லை...." ( யாத்திராகமம் 10 : 26 )

மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பார்வோனிடம் பலமுறை சென்று இஸ்ரவேலரை எகிப்திலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிடும்படி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளும் சம்பவங்களை நாம் யாத்திராகமம் நூலில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். பார்வோன் இஸ்ரவேலரை விடுவிக்க மறுத்துக்கூறிடவே தேவன் பல்வேறு வாதைகளை அனுப்பி எகிப்தியரை வாதித்தார். வாதைகளைக் கண்ட பார்வோன் இஸ்ரவேலரின்  ஆண்கள் மட்டும் சென்று கர்த்தருக்குப் பலிசெலுத்த அனுமதி கொடுத்தான். மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் அதற்கு உடன்படவில்லை. தொடர்ந்து கர்த்தர் வெட்டுக்கிளிகளால் பெரிய வாதையினை எகிப்தின்மேல் அனுப்பினார். 

அதன்பின்னர் பார்வோன் மோசேயை அழைத்து,  "உங்கள் கால்நடைகளை எகிப்தில் விட்டுவிட்டு நீங்கள் மட்டும் செல்லுங்கள்" என்றான். அப்போது மோசே, "எங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களும் எங்களோடேகூட வரவேண்டும்; ஒரு குளம்பும் பின்வைக்கப்படுவதில்லை. எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறதற்கு அவைகளிலிருந்து எடுக்கவேண்டும்; இன்னதைக்கொண்டு கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்வோம் என்பது நாங்கள் அங்கே போய்ச் சேருமளவும் எங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது" ( யாத்திராகமம் 10 : 26 ) என்று உறுதியாகக் கூறினார். 

இந்த வசனத்தில், எந்தவொரு கால்நடையையும் விட்டுச் செல்ல முடியாது என்று மோசே கூறுவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. இது, எகிப்திலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேலர் விடுதலையானது ஒரு முழுமையான செயலாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று மோசே விரும்பியதைக் காட்டுகின்றது.  மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்களுடைய கால்நடைகள் வெறும் விலங்குகள் அல்ல, அவை அவர்களின் பொருளாதார மற்றும் விவசாய வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கு இன்றியமையாதவையாக இருந்தன. விவிலிய சூழலில், கால்நடைகள் அவர்களின் அன்றாட வாழ்விலும் பலி செலுத்தும் முறைகளிலும் முக்கியப் பங்கு வகித்தன. ஒரு குளம்பைக் கூட பின்விட்டுச் செல்வது என்பது, வழிபாட்டிற்கும் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கும் தங்களுக்குத் தேவையானவற்றில் ஒரு பகுதியை இழப்பதற்குச் சமமாகும்.  

இது நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வினை விளக்கும் அடிப்படையாகவும் உள்ளது. ஆவிக்குரிய விடுதலை என்பது முழு விடுதலையாக இருக்கவேண்டும். அன்று இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எதையும் விட்டுவைக்க விரும்பாதது போலவே, நாமும் நமது வாழ்க்கையின் அனைத்து அம்சங்களையும் பழைய நிலையிலிருந்து விடுவித்து தேவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கத் தயாராக, முழு மனதுடன் நமது விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக நிற்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

சிலர் தாங்கள் தேவனிடம் திரும்பிய பின்னரும் பழைய சில பாவ காரியங்களை விட்டுவிடாமல் இருப்பதுண்டு. நாம் மோசேயைப்போல தேவனிடம் முழு அன்பும் விசுவாசமும் உள்ளவர்கள் என்றால் மோசே கூறியதுபோல, "ஒரு குளம்பும் பின்வைக்கப்படுவதில்லை" என்று எந்த ஒரு பழைய பாவத்தையும் விட்டுவைக்காமல் தேவனிடம் சரணடையவேண்டியது அவசியம்; நமது பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கை முற்றிலும் மறக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம்.

பார்வோன் மோசேயிடம் கூறியதுபோல சில வேளைகளில் சாத்தான் நம்மிடம். "இது என்னைப் பெரிய பாவம்? இதையெல்லாம்  தேவன் பெரிதாக நினைக்கமாட்டார்" என்று நமது சில பாவங்களை நியாயப்படுத்தச் சொல்லலாம். நம்மை அவன் குழப்பலாம். நாமும்கூட சிலவேளைகளில் நமது மனதில், "இதெல்லாம் பெரிய பாவமே அல்ல" என எண்ணலாம். அன்பானவர்களே, சிறிய பாவம் பெரிய பாவம் என்று நாம் கணக்குப் பார்க்கத் தேவையில்லை. 

ஒரு குட்டி ஆட்டையோ மாட்டையோகூட விட்டுவிட்டு எகிப்தைவிட்டுச்  செல்ல மோசே சம்மதிக்கவில்லை. இதுபோலவே நாமும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிடம்  முழு சரணாகதி (Total surrender)  அடையவேண்டும். எந்த ஒரு பாவத்தையம் விட்டுவிடாமல் அவரிடம் அறிக்கைசெய்து விட்டுவிடவேண்டியது அவசியம். "ஒரு குளம்பும் பின்வைக்கப்படுவதில்லை" என உறுதியாகக் கூறி எகிப்திலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேலர் முழு விடுதலையினைப் பெற்றதுபோல நாமும் முழு  விடுதலை பெற எல்லா பாவங்களையும் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும்போது மட்டுமே முழு விடுதலையினைப் பெற்று மகிழ முடியும்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" Meditation – No. 1927

"Therefore, our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind..." — Exodus 10:26 (NASB)

In the Book of Exodus, we read about the repeated instances where Moses and Aaron approached Pharaoh, requesting him to let the Israelites go from Egypt. Because Pharaoh refused to release them, God sent various plagues to strike the Egyptians. Witnessing the severity of these plagues, Pharaoh eventually conceded, but only allowed the Israelite men to go and offer sacrifices to the Lord. Moses and Aaron refused to accept this compromise. Consequently, the Lord sent a massive plague of locusts upon Egypt.

Following this, Pharaoh summoned Moses again and said, "Leave your flocks and your herds behind; only you and your little ones may go." It was then that Moses firmly declared:

"Therefore, our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind, for we must take some of them to serve the Lord our God. And until we arrive there, we ourselves do not know with what we will serve the Lord." — Exodus 10:26 (NASB)

In this verse, it is remarkable how Moses insists that not a single piece of livestock could be left behind. This demonstrates Moses’ desire for the Israelites' exodus from Egypt to be an absolute, complete deliverance. Furthermore, their livestock were not just mere animals; they were vital to their economic and agricultural livelihood. In the biblical context, livestock played a crucial role in both their daily survival and their sacrificial system of worship. Leaving even a single hoof behind would mean forfeiting a part of what was necessary for both their worship and their livelihood.

This serves as a foundational principle illustrating our own spiritual lives. Spiritual deliverance must be a complete deliverance. Just as the Israelites refused to leave anything behind, we too must be ready to release every aspect of our lives from our old state, dedicate it to God, and stand firm in our faith with a whole heart.

Sometimes, even after turning to God, some individuals continue to hold onto certain past sins. If we love God completely and possess true faith like Moses, we must surrender entirely to Him without leaving any old sin behind, declaring boldly: "Not a hoof shall be left behind." Our old life of sin must be completely forgotten.

Just as Pharaoh bargained with Moses, Satan might sometimes whisper to us, justifying certain sins: "Is this really such a big sin? God won't care about something this minor." He tries to confuse us, and we too might occasionally think to ourselves, "This isn't a major sin at all."

Beloved, we do not need to calculate or categorize sins as "small" or "big." Moses refused to leave Egypt if it meant leaving even a single young lamb or calf behind. In the same way, we must practice total surrender to Jesus Christ. It is essential to confess and forsake every single sin without holding onto any.

The Israelites achieved absolute freedom from Egypt by firmly declaring that not a hoof would be left behind. Similarly, we can only experience the joy of total deliverance when we confess all our sins to Christ and allow them to be washed clean by His precious blood.

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 30 : 20 / Isaiah 30:20

💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1926

📆2026 மே 17, ஞாயிறு  

"ஆண்டவர் உங்களுக்குத் துன்பத்தின் அப்பத்தையும், உபத்திரவத்தின் தண்ணீரையும் கொடுத்தாலும், உன் போதகர் இனி ஒருபோதும் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்; உன் கண்கள் உன் போதகரைக் காணும்." ( ஏசாயா 30 : 20 )

துன்பம், உபத்திரவம் இவைகளை நாம் உண்ணும் அப்பத்துக்கும் குடிக்கும் தண்ணீருக்கும் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் ஒப்பிடுகின்றது. அன்பான தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளே, இன்று ஒருவேளை தேவன் நமது வாழ்வில் பல்வேறு நெருக்கங்களையும், துன்பங்களையும் ஒடுக்குதலையும் தந்திருக்கலாம். மற்றவர்களைப்போல நாம் செழிப்பான வாழ்க்கை வாழாமல் இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது,  "உன் போதகர் இனி ஒருபோதும் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்; உன் கண்கள் உன் போதகரைக் காணும்."

அதாவது,  நமது இந்த வனாந்தர வாழ்க்கையை தேவன் அறிந்திருக்கின்றார். நமது துன்பங்களைப்  பார்த்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றார். ஆம், "கர்த்தர் நல்லவர், இக்கட்டு நாளிலே அரணான கோட்டை; தம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களை அறிந்திருக்கிறார்." ( நாகூம் 1 : 7 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள "உன் போதகர்" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் பழைய மொழிபெயர்ப்பு வேதாகமங்களில், "உன் போதகர்கள்" என்று பன்மையில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தப்போதகர் வேறு யாருமல்ல,  பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்தான். அதாவது நாம் நெருக்கமான, இடுக்கமான உணவை உண்டு, குறைவான  தண்ணீரைக் குடித்து வாழ்வதுபோல நெருக்கடியான ஒரு வாழ்க்கையை இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழ்ந்தாலும் நம்மைப் பார்த்து வழிநடத்த தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் உண்டு.  

அன்று இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் வனாந்தரத்தில் வழிநடந்தபோது இரவும் பகலும் தேவன் அவர்களைப் பாதுகாத்து வழி நடத்தினார். "பகலிலே மேகஸ்தம்பமும், இரவிலே அக்கினிஸ்தம்பமும் ஜனங்களிடத்திலிருந்து விலகிப்போகவில்லை." ( யாத்திராகமம் 13 : 22 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்று ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நம்மை வழிநடத்தும் இந்த மேகஸ்தம்பமும், அக்கினிஸ்தம்பமும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்தான். எனவே, நெருக்கடியான சூழ்நிலையில் நாம் தனியாக இல்லை நம்மோடு தேவன் இருக்கின்றார் எனும் தைரியத்தோடு நாம் வாழ அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால், "உன் போதகர் இனி ஒருபோதும் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்; உன் கண்கள் உன் போதகரைக் காணும்" எனும் வார்த்தைகளின்படி நாமும் அவரை விசுவாசக்கண்ணால்  காண முடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தேவனுடைய சமூகத்தைத் தேடுகின்றவர்களாகவும், அதற்காகக்  அவசியம். அன்று மோசே தேவனிடம் இப்படித்தான் ஜெபித்தார். "ஆண்டவரே, நீர் எங்களோடு வரவில்லையானால் நாங்கள் இதே இடத்தில்தான் இருப்போம்" என்றார் அவர். இதனை நாம், "அப்பொழுது அவன் அவரை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய சமுகம் என்னோடேகூடச் செல்லாமற்போனால், எங்களை இவ்விடத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுபோகாதிரும்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 33 : 15 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இக்கட்டான வேளைகளில் நாமும் இதுபோல ஜெபிப்போம். "ஆண்டவரே, உன் போதகர் இனி ஒருபோதும் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்; உன் கண்கள் உன் போதகரைக் காணும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதே, அதனை நான் விசுவாசிக்கிறேன். நீரே எங்களை மேகஸ்தம்பமும், அக்கினிஸ்தம்பமுமாக இருந்து வழிநடத்தி எங்களது இந்தப் பாலைவன வாழ்கையினைக் கடந்து செல்ல உதவிபுரியும். எங்களது துன்பத்தின் அப்பத்தையும், உபத்திரவத்தின் தண்ணீரையும் நாங்கள் மேற்கொண்டு வாழ்ந்திட உதவிபுரியும்".   

தேவனுடைய கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்து வாழும்போது நிச்சயமாக அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிடமாட்டார். "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நம்மைத் தமது நித்திய மகிமைக்கு அழைத்தவராயிருக்கிற சகல கிருபையும் பொருந்திய தேவன்தாமே கொஞ்சக்காலம் பாடநுபவிக்கிற உங்களைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, ஸ்திரப்படுத்தி, பலப்படுத்தி, நிலைநிறுத்துவாராக" ( 1 பேதுரு 5 : 10 ) ஆமென்.

💥 "AATHAVAN" 🌳 Meditation – No. 1926

"Although the Lord has given you the bread of privation and the water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher." — Isaiah 30:20 (NASB)

Today’s meditation verse compares the suffering and affliction we experience to the daily bread we eat and the water we drink. Beloved children of God, perhaps today He has allowed various hardships, distresses, and oppressions into your life. We may not be living a prosperous life like others around us. However, today’s verse promises: "He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher."

This means God is fully aware of our wilderness journey. He is actively watching over our afflictions. Indeed, Scripture reminds us:

"The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in He." — Nahum 1:7 (NASB)

In older Bible translations, the phrase "your Teacher" used in today's verse was rendered in the plural form as "your teachers." This Teacher is none other than the Holy Spirit. Even if we live a tight, pressured life in this world—as if consuming the bread of privation and drinking scarce water—the Spirit of God is right there to look after us and guide us.

When the people of Israel journeyed through the wilderness long ago, God protected and led them day and night. We read:

"He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people." — Exodus 13:22 (NASB)

Today, in our spiritual life, this pillar of cloud and pillar of fire is the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we are called to live courageously, knowing that we are not alone in our distressing circumstances; God is with us. If we live a true spiritual life, we will be able to see Him through the eyes of faith, according to the promise: "He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher."

Yes, dearly beloved, it is essential that we seek God’s presence earnestly. Long ago, Moses prayed to God in this very manner. He said, "Lord, if You do not go with us, we will stay right here." We read this account here:

"Then he said to Him, 'If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.'" — Exodus 33:15 (NASB)

Let us pray similarly during our times of distress:

"Lord, You have said, 'He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher.' I believe this promise. Lord, guide us as a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire, and help us cross this wilderness of life. Help us overcome and live through our bread of privation and water of oppression."

When we rely entirely on God's grace, He will certainly never forsake us.

"After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you." — 1 Peter 5:10 (NASB)
