Power of God

"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." ( Luke 18 : 27 )

We think everything with human knowledge. Because the situation we live in makes us think like that. That is why many times we are afraid and bewildered by problems. Today's words of Jesus Christ will make us believe in God. Yes, God is beyond time and space. He can do everything.

The greatest miracle that Jesus performed was the resurrection of Lazarus four days after he had been dead and buried in the tomb. On the second day after a person dies, a bad smell comes from the body. On the fourth day the flesh rots. But Jesus Christ resurrected that rotten body with his word. Yes, God can do what is impossible for man.

When speaking of eternal life and entering the kingdom of heaven, Jesus Christ said, "For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." ( Luke 18 : 25 ) This means that the rich cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

But the people heard the words of Jesus Christ and asked him, "Lord, then who can be saved?". It was in response to them that Jesus Christ said today's verse. That is, it may seem like it is impossible for humans but God can do it as He raised Lazarus from the dead.

But, Jesus states a condition for this. "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." ( Luke 18 : 17 ) That is, if one repents and attains the state of mind of a little child, he can enter the kingdom of heaven.

All those who accepted God are not beggars. Abraham was very rich. David was the greatest king. Hezekiah was a king. Similarly, in the New Testament, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a hidden disciple of Jesus, was a rich man. And it is said that when Jesus was in the world, many rich women helped him in the ministry. In particular, the wife of Chuza, King Herod's secretary, was one of them. "And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance." ( Luke 8 : 3 ) we read.

Money is not a criterion to enter the kingdom of God. A poor can go straight to hell by engaging in activities that are not acceptable to God. Similarly, a rich person can live a life that is acceptable to God and join the kingdom of heaven.

And today's verse is a verse that gives comfort to those who are worried about the problems of the world. There may seem to be no escape from the problems that press upon us, but we need not panic. Today's verse will help to confirm our faith.

Didn't God save the Israelites by parting the Red Sea when there was no way to escape from Pharaoh ? So don't worry about problems and sufferings. Believe and see God through trouble. God will set us free. Yes, things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
