🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 58 : 11 / Isaiah 58:11

 தியானம் - 2026

"ஆதவன்" ஆகஸ்ட் 26 புதன் 2026

"கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் உன்னை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, உன் எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; நீ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்பாய்." ( ஏசாயா 58 : 11 )

ஒரு மகனோ மகளோ பெற்றோருக்கு முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து வாழும்போது அது அவர்களுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும். அத்தகைய குழந்தைகள் கேட்பதை மறுக்காமல் அந்தப்பெற்றோர் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்வார்கள். மட்டுமல்ல, அந்தப்பிள்ளைகள் எதிரிபார்ப்பதற்கும் மேலாக பெற்றோர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு நன்மையே செய்வார்கள். 

இதுபோல, நாம் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது, கர்த்தரே நம்மை நடத்துவார். எனவே நாம் எதனைப்பற்றியும் பெரிய எதிர்பார்ப்போ கவலையோ இன்றி வாழமுடியும். ஆம், நமது வாழ்க்கை தேவனால் நடத்தப்படுகின்ற  வாழ்க்கையாக இருக்குமானால் நாம் எதனைப்பற்றியும் கவலையோ நிம்மதியின்மையோ படமாட்டோம்.  அவரே நமது வறட்சியான காலங்களில் நமது ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாகி நமது எலும்புகளை வலிமையுள்ளவையாக்குவார். அதாவது, துன்பகாலங்களிலும் நம்மை நிலைகுலையாமல் காப்பாற்றுவார். 

மிகக் கொடிய பாலைவனத்திலும் சில இடங்கள் செழிப்புள்ளதாக இருக்கும். அவைகளைப் பாலைவனச் சோலைகள்  என்பார்கள். அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோல நாம் கர்த்தரைச் சார்ந்து வாழும்போது எத்தகைய கொடிய துன்பங்கள், வருத்தங்கள் நமக்கு வந்தாலும் பாலைவனச்  சோலைகள்போல துன்பங்களுக்கிடையிலும் நமது ஆத்துமாவுக்கு  இனிய இளைப்பாறுதல் உண்டு.

இன்று அப்படி கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களைப்பார்த்துக்   கர்த்தர் கூறுகின்றார், "நீ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்பாய்" என்று. நாம் பராமரிக்கும் தோட்டத்திற்கு நாம் தினசரி நீர்பாய்ச்சுவதுபோல தேவன் நீர்பாய்ச்சி நம்மைப் பராமரிப்பார்; வற்றாத நீரூற்று இருக்குமானால் அந்த இடத்திலுள்ள மரம், செடி, கொடிகள் கோடை வெப்பத்தையும் தங்கி செழித்து வளர்வதுபோல நாமும் இருப்போம். 

உலகத்தில் தேவனற்று வாழும் பெரிய செல்வந்தர்களை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். புகழும் பணமும் அதிகமுள்ள பல மனிதர்களை பார்க்கின்றோம். ஆனால் அவர்களது வாழ்க்கை இருளானதாக, நிம்மதியற்றதாக, மெய்யான செழிப்பு இல்லாததாக இருக்கக் காண்கின்றோம். பணமிருந்தாலும் சமாதானமற்ற வாழ்க்கைதான் பலருக்கு. எனவேதான் மனநிம்மதிக்காக மதுவுக்கும், இதர பாவச் செயல்களுக்கும் அடிமையாகி பலர் எந்த நிம்மதியுமின்றி தற்கொலை செய்து மடிகின்றனர். 

கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்புடையவன் அவருக்கேற்ற காரியங்களைச் சிந்திப்பான், அவரது வார்த்தைகளைத் தியானிப்பான். அப்படிக் கர்த்தரது  வார்த்தைகளை ஒருவன் இரவும் பகலும் தியானித்து வாழ்வானானால்,  "அவன் நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரமாய் நடப்பட்டு, தன் காலத்தில் தன் கனியைத் தந்து, இலையுதிராதிருக்கிற மரத்தைப் போலிருப்பான். அவன் செய்வதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 1 : 3 ) என்று வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.

அன்பானவர்களே, வேத வசனங்கள் தேவனால் அனுப்பப்பட்டவை. அந்த வார்த்தைகள் பொய்ச்சொல்லாது. அவற்றை விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும். அப்படி விசுவாசித்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து அவரது வார்த்தைகளைத் தியானித்து வாழ்வாக்கும்போது இன்றைய வசனம் கூறும் ஆசீர்வாதம் நமக்கு உண்டு. கர்த்தர் நித்தமும் நம்மை நடத்தி, மகா வறட்சியான காலங்களில் நமது ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கி, நமது எலும்புகளை நிணமுள்ளதாக்குவார்; நாம் நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப் போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்போம்.

Meditation – 2026                                                    "AATHAVAN" – August 26, Wednesday 2026

"And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not." — Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

When a son or a daughter lives in total obedience to their parents, it brings great joy to the parents. Such parents will not withhold good things from obedient children; moreover, they will do far beyond what the children expect for their well-being.

In the same way, when we live a life acceptable to the Lord, the Lord Himself will guide us. Therefore, we can live without overwhelming anxieties or great worries. Yes, if our life is led by God, we will not be anxious or restless about anything. He Himself will satisfy our soul in times of drought and strengthen our bones—meaning He will keep us steadfast and preserve us even during seasons of affliction.

Even in the harshest deserts, certain spots remain lush and fruitful; these are called oases. Beloved, when we rely on the Lord in this manner, no matter what severe troubles or sorrows come upon us, our soul will find sweet rest in the midst of afflictions, just like an oasis in a desert.

Today, speaking to those who live a life pleasing to Him, the Lord says: "thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not." Just as we water a garden that we tend every day, God will water us and care for us. Where there is an unfailing spring of water, the trees, plants, and vines endure the summer heat and flourish—and so shall we.

We see wealthy people in the world who live without God. We see many individuals who possess immense fame and riches. Yet we observe that their lives are dark, restless, and devoid of true prosperity. Though they have money, many live without peace. Consequently, seeking peace of mind, many become addicted to alcohol and other sinful acts, ending up in despair and perishing through suicide.

The one who pleases the Lord will think upon things pleasing to Him and meditate on His words. If one lives meditating on the Lord's words day and night, the Scripture declares:

"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." — Psalm 1:3 (KJV)

Beloved, the scriptures are given by God, and His words will not lie. We must believe them. When we believe, live a life acceptable to Him, and meditate on His words, the blessing spoken in today's verse belongs to us. The Lord shall guide us continually, satisfy our soul in times of great drought, and make our bones strong; we shall be like a watered garden and like an unfailing spring of water.
