🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 58 / 1 Corinthians 15:58

 தியானம் - 2027

"ஆதவன்" ஆகஸ்ட் 27 வியாழன் 2026

"கர்த்தருக்குள் நீங்கள் படுகிறபிரயாசம் விருதாவாயிராதென்று அறிந்து, நீங்கள் உறுதிப்பட்டவர்களாயும், அசையாதவர்களாயும், கர்த்தருடைய கிரியையிலே எப்பொழுதும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாயும் இருப்பீர்களாக."( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 58 )

கர்த்தருக்காக என்று ஆர்வமுடன்  நாம் செய்யும் தர்ம காரியங்கள், உதவிகள், அவருக்கென்று செய்யும் ஊழியங்கள் இவை விளம்பர நோக்கத்திற்காக அல்லாமல், உண்மையான அன்புடன் செய்யப்படுமேயானால் கர்த்தர் அவற்றை நினைவுகூர்ந்து நமக்குப் பதில் செய்வார். மேலும், அப்படிக் கர்த்தர் பதில் செய்வார் என்று எண்ணிக்கூட நாம் செய்யக்கூடாது. மாறாக கர்த்தருக்கென்று செய்வது இயற்கையாக நம்மில் உருவாகவேண்டும். 

பொதுவாக இந்த உலகில் மனிதர்கள் பிறர் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் உதவிகளை உடனேயே மறந்து விடுவார்கள். எவ்வளவு பெரிய உதவி செய்தாலும் அதனை நினைவுகூர்ந்து வாழ்பவர்கள் வெகுசிலர்தான். ஆனால் நமது கர்த்தர் அப்படிப்பட்டவர் அல்ல; அவற்றை அவர் மறந்துவிடுவதுமில்லை என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. கர்த்தருக்காக என்று நாம் செய்யும் செயல்கள் வீணானவை அல்ல என்பதால் உறுதியுடன் அப்படி கர்த்தருக்காக என்று செய்யும் செயல்களைச் செய்து அவற்றில் பெருகவேண்டும் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

இதற்கு ஒரு உதாரணம் கூறலாம். நாம் காற்றை சுவாசிக்காவிட்டால் உயிர்வாழ முடியாது.  ஆனால் நாம் அப்படி நினைத்துக்கொண்டு சுவாசிப்பதில்லை. மாறாக, நம்மை அறியாமல் நாம் சுவாசித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். இதுபோலவே நாம் கர்த்தருக்கென்று நற்செயல்களை இயற்கையாகவே செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியம். அத்தகைய நமது செயல்களை கர்த்தரும் மறக்கமாட்டார். 

அப்படி நாம் கர்த்தரது பெயருக்காகச்  செய்யும் அன்புள்ள செயல்களை மறந்துவிடுவதற்கு அவர் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. "உங்கள் கிரியையையும், நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்ததினாலும் செய்து வருகிறதினாலும் தமது நாமத்திற்காகக் காண்பித்த அன்புள்ள பிரயாசத்தையும் மறந்துவிடுகிறதற்கு தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்லவே." ( எபிரெயர் 6 : 10 ) நீதி, நேர்மையற்று வாழும் சில உலக மக்களைப்போல அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல நமது தேவன். 

சிலர் தங்கள் செய்த நல்லச்  செயல்களை விளம்பரப்படுத்திச்  சொல்லிச் சொல்லி வாழ்வார்கள். வேறு சிலரோ, "நான் எவ்வளவோ நல்லது செய்தேன் எனக்கு ஆண்டவர் ஒண்ணுமே செய்யமாட்டேன் என்கிறார்" எனப் புலம்புவார்கள். அன்பானவர்களே, உண்மையும் உத்தமத்தோடும் செய்த எந்த செயலையும் தேவன் மறக்கமாட்டார். தமது நாமத்திற்காகக் காண்பித்த அன்புள்ள பிரயாசத்தை மறந்துவிடுகிறதற்கு தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல. மட்டுமல்ல கர்த்தர் எவருக்கும் கடன்பட்டவரல்ல. இந்த உண்மை நமக்குள் உறுதியாக இருக்குமானால் எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்புமின்றி கர்த்தருக்கென்று நற்செயல்கள் செய்பவர்களாக இருப்போம்.

எனவே கர்த்தருக்குள் நாம்  படுகிற முயற்சிகள் வீணானவையல்ல  என்று  அறிந்து, நாம்  உறுதிப்பட்டவர்களாயும், அசையாதவர்களாயும், கர்த்தருக்கென்று செய்யும் செயல்களில் எப்போதும் பெருகுகிறவர்களாக  இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று கூறும் பவுலடிகளின் வார்த்தைகளின்படி வாழ முயற்சிப்போம். கர்த்தர் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

Meditation - 2027

"AATHAVAN" – August 27, Thursday 2026

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." — 1 Corinthians 15:58

When we eagerly perform acts of charity, offer help, and engage in ministry for the Lord, these works must not be done for self-promotion or publicity. If they are done out of genuine love, the Lord will remember them and reward us. Furthermore, we should not even perform these good deeds merely expecting a reward in return; rather, serving the Lord ought to spring forth naturally from within us.

Generally, people in this world quickly forget the help others extend to them. No matter how great the assistance rendered, only a very few remember it with gratitude throughout their lives. However, our Lord is not like that; today’s verse reminds us that He never forgets. Because our labour for the Lord is never in vain, the Apostle Paul urges us to remain firm and abound continually in those works done for Him.

Consider this illustration: we cannot survive without breathing air, yet we do not sit around consciously reminding ourselves to breathe. Instead, breathing happens naturally without us even thinking about it. In the exact same way, doing good works for the Lord should become second nature to us. The Lord will never forget such actions.

Scripture assures us that God is not unrighteous to forget the loving deeds we perform in His name:

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." — Hebrews 6:10

Our God is not unrighteous like some worldly people who live without justice or integrity.

Some people continually boast about and publicize the good deeds they have done. Others complain, saying, "I have done so much good, yet God has done nothing for me." Dearly beloved, God will never forget any work performed with truth and sincerity. He is not unrighteous to forget the labor of love shown toward His name. Moreover, the Lord remains indebted to no one. If this truth is firmly rooted within us, we will continue doing good works for the Lord without expecting anything in return.

Therefore, let us strive to live according to the words of the Apostle Paul, knowing that our labour in the Lord is not in vain, remaining steadfast, unmoveable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
