Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 13 : 4 / 2 Corinthians 13:4

தியானம் - 2028

"ஆதவன்" ஆகஸ்ட் 28 வெள்ளி 2026

"ஏனெனில் அவர் பலவீனத்தால் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்தும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் பிழைத்திருக்கிறார்; அப்படி நாங்களும் அவருக்குள் பலவீனராயிருந்தும், உங்களிடமாய் விளங்கிய தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் அவருடனேகூடப் பிழைத்திருப்போம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 13 : 4 )

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவனையுடைய குமாரனும் மெய்யான தேவனுமாக இருந்தாலும் அவர் பலவீன மனிதனாகவே பூமியில் தோன்றினார். எல்லா விதத்திலும் அவர் நம்மைப்போல சோதிக்கப்பட்டார். ஆனால் அவர் பாவமில்லாதவராக இருந்தார். எனவேதான் அவர் நமக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வல்லவராகவும் இருக்கின்றார். "நம்முடைய பலவீனங்களைக்குறித்துப் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடாத பிரதான ஆசாரியர் நமக்கிராமல், எல்லாவிதத்திலும் நம்மைப்போல் சோதிக்கப்பட்டும், பாவமில்லாதவராயிருக்கிற பிரதான ஆசாரியரே நமக்கிருக்கிறார்" ( எபிரெயர் 4 : 15 ) என எழுதுகின்றார் எபிரேய ஆசிரியர். 

இப்படி மனிதனைப்போல பலவீனமானவராக அவர் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டார். ஆனால் அவர் அப்படியே அறையப்பட்டு மடிந்துபோய்விடவில்லை. மாறாக முற்றும் முடிய நம்மை இரட்சிக்கவல்லவராக பிழைத்திருக்கின்றார்; இன்றும் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று நாமும் பூமியில் வாழ்ந்தபோது கிறிஸ்து இருந்ததுபோல பலவீன மனிதர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் அப்படி பலவீனராயிருந்தும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் அவருடனேகூடப் பிழைத்திருப்போம். இதுவே கிறிஸ்தவ நம்பிக்கை. அதாவது இன்று இந்த உலகத்தில் பல்வேறு துன்பங்கள், பாவங்கள், நோய்கள், பிரச்சனைகள் நம்மை நெருக்கலாம். நம்மைப் பலவீனப்படுத்தலாம். ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவை உயிர்தெழச்செய்தவர்  நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார். அவர் நம்மை அழிந்துபோக விடமாட்டார். 

அன்று கிறிஸ்து சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்தபோது யூதர்களும் ஏனைய மனிதர்களும் அவரைக் கேலி செய்தனர். "நீ கிறிஸ்துவானால் சிலுவையிலிருந்து இறங்கியவா, அப்போது உன்னை விசுவாசிப்போம்" என்றார்கள். ஆனால் ஏற்றகாலம் வரும்வரை கிறிஸ்து அமைதியாக இருந்தார். பின்னர் மகிமையோடு உயிர்த்தெழுந்தார். 

இதுபோல நமது இன்றைய நிலைமை உலக மக்களுக்கு ஒருவேளை அற்பமாகத் தெரியலாம். அவர்கள் நம்மைப்பார்த்து, "கடவுள் உன்னொடு  இருக்கிறாரென்றால்  ஏன் உனக்கு இந்தத் துன்பம்?,  கடவுளை நம்பாத பலர்  உன்னைவிட நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கின்றார்களே?" எனக் கேள்வி எழுப்பலாம். ஆனால் நாம் அவர்களுக்குப் பதில் சொல்லவேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை.  கிறிஸ்து தமது உயிர்த்தெழுதல் மூலம் அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலளித்தார். 

கிறிஸ்து பலவீனத்தால் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்தும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் பிழைத்திருந்ததுபோல நாமும் இப்போது பலவீனராயிருந்தாலும், நம்மிடம் விளங்கும் தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் அவருடனேகூடப் பிழைத்திருப்போம்.  சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட ஒரு காலமுண்டு என்றால் உயிர்த்தெழவும் ஒரு காலம் உண்டு. நமக்காக தேவனே நமக்கு எதிராகப் பேசியவர்களுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

Meditation – 2028

“AATHAVAN” – August 28, 2026, Friday 

“For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.” — 2 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV)

Although Jesus Christ was the Son of God and truly God, He appeared on earth in the form of a weak human being. He was tempted in every way just as we are, yet He remained without sin. That is why He is able to help us in all our weaknesses. The writer of Hebrews says:

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” — Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)

Thus, Jesus was crucified in weakness, as a man. But He did not remain on the cross and perish. Rather, He rose again, victorious and fully able to save us. He is alive even today.

Yes, dear friends, while we live on this earth, we too are weak human beings, just as Christ appeared to be in His earthly life. Yet, though we are weak, we shall live with Him through the power of God. This is the hope of Christianity.

Today, various sufferings, sins, illnesses, and problems may surround us. They may make us feel weak and helpless. But the One who raised Christ from the dead is with us. He will not allow us to perish.

When Christ was hanging on the cross, the Jews and others mocked Him, saying in effect, “If thou be Christ, come down from the cross; then we will believe thee.” But Christ remained silent until the appointed time. Then He rose again from the dead in glory.

In the same way, our present circumstances may appear insignificant or even hopeless in the eyes of the world. People may look at us and ask, “If God is with you, why are you suffering like this? There are many who do not believe in God, yet they seem to be living better lives than you.”

But we do not have to answer such questions. Christ Himself answered them through His resurrection.

Just as Christ was crucified through weakness, yet lived by the power of God, we too may be weak today, but through the power of God working in us, we shall live with Him.

If there is a time appointed for the cross, there is also a time appointed for resurrection. If there is a season of suffering, there will also be a season of victory. We need not defend ourselves before those who question our faith. God Himself will answer on our behalf.

Therefore, dear friends, do not be discouraged by your present weakness or circumstances. Your story does not end at the cross. The power of God that raised Christ from the dead is still at work. Wait upon Him in faith. In His appointed time, He will turn your weakness into strength, your suffering into victory, and your sorrow into joy.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.”

— Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) Your present weakness is not the end. The power of God will bring forth your resurrection and victory in His appointed time.
