🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 34 : 16 / Isaiah 34:16

"ஆதவன்"ஆகஸ்ட் 13 வியாழன் 2026

"கர்த்தருடைய புஸ்தகத்திலே தேடி வாசியுங்கள்; இவைகளில் ஒன்றும் குறையாது; இவைகளில் ஒன்றும் ஜோடில்லாதிராது; அவருடைய வாய் இதைச் சொல்லிற்று; அவருடைய ஆவி அவைகளைச் சேர்க்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 34 : 16)

இந்த உலகம்கூட எந்த ஒரு காரியத்துக்கும் இரண்டு சாட்சிகள் தேவை என்பதனை நிலைப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. எந்த ஒரு பத்திரப்பதிவு செய்யும்போதும் இன்றும் இரண்டுபேருடைய சாட்சி தேவைப்படுகின்றது. ஏனெனில் இரண்டுபேர் ஒரு காரியத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்தினால் அது உண்மையென ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும். 

மோசே மூலம் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளையிலும் இதுவே கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இரண்டுபேருடைய சாட்சியால் ஒருவன் தீர்ப்பிடப்படவேண்டும். இதனை நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும்  "இரண்டுபேருடைய சாட்சி உண்மையென்று உங்கள் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலும் எழுதியிருக்கிறதே." ( யோவான் 8 : 17 ) என்று  கூறினார். மேலும் அவர் உன் சகோதரன் உனக்கு எதிராக குற்றம் செய்தால் அவனுடன் பேசி ஒப்புரவாகு, "அவன் செவிகொடாமற்போனால், இரண்டு மூன்று சாட்சிகளுடைய வாக்கினாலே சங்கதிகளெல்லாம் நிலைவரப்படும்படி, இரண்டொருவரை உன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டு போ." ( மத்தேயு 18 : 16 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோல தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் உண்மை என்பதற்கு அவை வேதாகமத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள முறையே சாட்சி. வேத வசனங்களில் ஒன்றும் அதற்கு இணையான ஜோடி இல்லாமல் இராது. இரண்டுபேருடைய சாட்சி உண்மை என்பதுபோல இந்த வசனங்களும் உண்மையானவை என்பதனை இப்படி ஜோடியாக இவை இருப்பது உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றது. 

வேத வசனங்கள் பல்வேறு மனிதர்களால் பல்வேறு காலகட்டங்களில் எழுதப்பட்டவை. ஆடுமேய்ப்பவர்கள், அத்திப்பழம் பொறுக்குபவர், மீன்பிடிப்பவர், அரசர்கள் போல  பல்வேறு தொழில் செய்வோர் பல்வேறு இடங்களிலிருந்து தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் பதிவுசெய்தனர். இக்காலத்தில் இருப்பதுபோல விஞ்ஞான வளர்ச்சிகள்  அப்போது இல்லை. ஒருவருக்கொருவர் நேரில் பார்த்துப் பேசக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பும் பெரும்பாலும் அவர்களுக்கு அக்காலத்தில் இல்லாமலிருந்தது. ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் மூல தேவன் பேசிய வார்த்தைகள் பதிவிடப்பட்டபோது அவைகளுக்குள் ஒற்றுமை இருந்தது. இதுவே அவர்களோடு பேசியவர் ஒரேதேவன் என்பதனை உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றது. 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், கர்த்தருடைய புஸ்தகத்திலே தேடி வாசியுங்கள்; இவைகளில் ஒன்றும் குறையாது; இவைகளில் ஒன்றும் ஜோடில்லாதிராது; அவருடைய வாய் இதைச் சொல்லிற்று என்று கூறுகின்றது.  தேவனது சில வசனங்கள் ஒரே வார்த்தையால் கூறப்பட்டாலும், பலவேளைகளில் அவை பொருள் மாறாமல்,  அதன்  உட்பொருள் மாறுபடாமல் வேறுமுறையில் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதும் உண்டு.   

உதாரணமாக, "என் கிருபை உனக்குப்போதும்; பலவீனத்திலே என் பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும்" (1 கொரிந்தியர் 12:9) எனும் வசனமும், "பலத்தினாலும் அல்ல, பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும் அல்ல, என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும்" (சக்கரியா 4;6) எனும் வசனமும் ஒரே பொருளை உணர்த்துகின்றன. மனித பலவீனத்தில் தேவனது வல்லமை விளங்கும் என்பதனை இவை உணர்த்துகின்றன. 

ஆம்  அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் வேதாகமத்தை கவனமுடன் வாசிக்கும்போது தேவ வார்த்தைகள் இப்படிப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதைக் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம். இது அந்த வார்த்தைகள் உண்மை என்பதனை உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றது. எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "கர்த்தருடைய புஸ்தகத்திலே தேடி வாசியுங்கள்" என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

தேவ வார்த்தைகள் வேதாகமத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள முறைகளை கவனிப்போம்; அவைகளைத் தியானிப்போம். காரணம், அந்த வார்த்தைகள் உறுதியானவை, நமக்கு நித்திய ஜீவனை அளிக்கக்கூடியவை.

"AATHAVAN” August 13 Thursday, 2026

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them." — Isaiah 34:16

Even this world has established that two witnesses are required for any matter. Even today, when registering any legal document, the witness of two people is necessary—because when two people confirm a matter, it is accepted as truth.

This very principle was stated in the Commandments given through Moses: a person should be judged by the testimony of two witnesses. Our Lord Jesus Christ also affirmed this, saying:

"It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true." — John 8:17

Furthermore, He instructs that if your brother sins against you, go and be reconciled with him; but:

"If he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." — Matthew 18:16

Yes, beloved, in the exact same manner, the very way God’s words are framed throughout Scripture stands as testimony that they are true. Not one word in the Scriptures lacks its corresponding pair. Just as the testimony of two witnesses is true, the existence of these scriptural pairings confirms that these words are dependable and true.

The Scriptures were written by various individuals across different eras. People from diverse professions—shepherds, gatherers of sycamore fruit, fishermen, and kings—recorded the words of God from different places.

There was no scientific advancement in those days like we have today. For the most part, they lacked the opportunity to meet or speak face-to-face. Yet, when the words God spoke through them were recorded, there was flawless unity among them. This proves that the God who spoke to all of them is one and the same.

This is precisely what today’s meditation verse declares: "Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded." Though certain verses of God express a truth in identical words, many times the same truth is presented in a different manner without changing its core meaning or inner intent.

For example, the verse:

"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9

and the verse:

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." — Zechariah 4:6

convey the very same truth: that God’s power is made manifest in human weakness.

Yes, beloved, when we read the Bible attentively, we can discover how God's words are set together in this way. This confirms that those words are true. That is why today’s meditation verse admonishes us: "Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read."

Let us pay attention to how God's words are woven throughout the Bible and meditate upon them—for those words are sure, and they are able to give us eternal life.
