🦋 Meditation verse - எசேக்கியேல் 13 : 10 / Ezekiel 13:10

"ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1980

"சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானமென்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் என் ஜனத்தை மோசம் போக்குகிறார்கள்; ஒருவன் மண்சுவரை வைக்கிறான்; இதோ, மற்றவர்கள் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தை அதற்குப் பூசுகிறார்கள்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 13 : 10 )

தேவனோடு நாம் தனிப்பட்ட உறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது மிகவும் அவசியம். ஆனால் இன்று பொதுவாக இப்படித் தனிப்பட்ட  தேவ ஐக்கியத்தில் வளர்ந்துள்ள விசுவாசிகள் மிகக் குறைவாகவே இருக்கின்றனர். எனவே விசுவாசிகள் பலரும் தங்களைக்குறித்தும் தங்களது வாழ்கையினைக் குறித்தும்  அறிந்திட  கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் ஊழியர்களை நாடிஓடுகின்றனர். 

தங்களிடம் வரும் விசுவாசிகளுக்கு ஆறுதலான வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறினால்தான் அவர்கள் மறுபடியும் தங்களை நாடி வருவார்கள், தங்கள் வருமானமும் பெருகும் என்பதால் இந்த ஊழியர்கள்  மக்களுக்கு ஆறுதலான வார்த்தைகளைக்கூறி அனுப்புகின்றனர்.  இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானமென்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் என் ஜனத்தை மோசம் போக்குகிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. ஒரு ஊழியர் மட்டுமல்ல, பெரும்பாலான ஊழியர்களும் இப்படியே தொடர்ந்து விசுவாசிகளை பொய்ச்சொல்லி ஏமாற்றுகின்றனர். 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தொடர்ந்து,  "ஒருவன் மண்சுவரை வைக்கிறான்; இதோ, மற்றவர்கள் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தை அதற்குப் பூசுகிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. உண்மையான தேவ ஊழியன் மக்களது ஆத்தும பலவீனத்தை அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தவேண்டும். அவர்களது பாவங்களை வெளிப்படுத்திக்கொடுத்து மக்கள் மனம்திரும்ப வழி கூறவேண்டும். நாத்தான் தீர்க்கதரிசி இப்படித்தான் தாவீதின் பாவத்தை உணர்த்திக்கொடுத்து அவரை மனம் திரும்பச் செய்தார். 

ஆனால், இப்படிப்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் இன்று விரல்விட்டு எண்ணக்கூடிய அளவுக்குத்தான் இருப்பார்கள் என்று கருதுகின்றேன். எனது ஆரம்பகாலத்தில் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் என்னை வழிநடத்திய இந்தியன் பெந்தேகோஸ்தே சபை (I.P.C) பாஸ்டர் ஜான்சன் டேவிட் அவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்ட தீர்க்கதரிசன வரம்பெற்ற உண்மையுள்ள ஊழியராக இருந்தார்கள். அதாவது, இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின்படி அவருக்கு சாரமில்லாத சாந்தைப் பூசத்தெரியவில்லை என்றுதான் கூறவேண்டும். அவர் யாரையும் முகத்தாட்சணியம் இல்லாமல் கடிந்துகொள்வார். தவறை கண்டித்து எச்சரிப்பார். அவரது வழிநடத்துதல்தான் நான் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளர்ச்சியடைய உதவியது. ஆனால், அவரைப் பலருக்குப் பிடிக்காது. காரணம், அவரது இந்தக் கண்டிப்பை அவர்கள் விரும்புவதில்லை.   

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நமக்கு ஆறுதலும் ஆசீர்வாதமும் கூறி நம்மை மகிழ்விக்கும் ஊழியர்களையே நாடி ஓடுவோமானால் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முன்னேறமுடியாது. ஆம், "இப்படிச் சுவரிலும், அதற்குச் சாரமில்லாத சாந்தைப் பூசினவர்களிலும் நான் என் உக்கிரத்தைத் தீர்த்துக்கொண்டு: சுவருமில்லை, அதற்குச் சாந்துபூசினவர்களுமில்லை. எருசலேமைக்குறித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லி, சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானம் உண்டென்று தரிசனங்காண்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் இல்லாமற்போவார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்." ( எசேக்கியேல் 13 : 15, 16 )

இந்த வசனத்தின் எச்சரிப்பை நாம் கவனிக்கவேண்டும். அதாவது, ஊழியர்களை நாடி வந்த விசுவாசிகளாகிய  சுவருமில்லை, அதற்குச் சாந்துபூசின ஊழியனுமில்லை என்று அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.  ஆம், சமாதானம் இல்லாதிருந்தும் சமாதானம் உண்டென்று தரிசனங்காண்கிற  தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் இல்லாமற்போவார்கள் என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். மிகக்கடினமான எச்சரிப்பல்லவா இது?

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை விளையாட்டல்ல; தேவனுடைய ஊழியம் பணம் சம்பாதிப்பதற்கும் மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைச் சேர்த்துத் தங்களைத் தாங்களே மகிமைப்படுத்தவுமல்ல.  எச்சரிக்கையாக இருந்து மனம் திரும்புவோம். உண்மையான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவத்தோடு வளர்ந்திட தேவனோடு தனிப்பட்ட உறவினை வளர்த்துக்கொள்வோம். அதற்கு முதற்படியாக நமக்கு வழிகாட்ட ஏற்ற ஊழியர்களை தேவனே நமக்குக் கொடுக்க வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். 

"ஆண்டவரே, நான் உம்மை அறியாத குருடனாக இருக்கின்றேன். எனக்கு வழிகாட்டும் உண்மையுள்ள ஆவிக்குரிய ஊழியரை எனக்குக் காண்பித்தருளும்" என வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். அப்போது, "உங்களுக்கு என் இருதயத்துக்கு ஏற்ற மேய்ப்பர்களைக் கொடுப்பேன், அவர்கள் உங்களை அறிவோடும் புத்தியோடும் மேய்ப்பார்கள்" ( எரேமியா 3 : 15 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

"It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash." — Ezekiel 13:10 (NASB)

It is essential for us to cultivate a personal relationship with God. Today, however, believers who grow through this kind of personal fellowship with Him are generally very few. Consequently, many believers run after ministers who claim to be servants of Christ, seeking to learn about themselves and their lives.

These ministers believe that unless they offer soothing words, believers will not return to them, and their income will not grow. Therefore, they send people away with comforting assurances. This is precisely what today’s meditation verse highlights: "It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace." It is not just one minister—most ministers continue to deceive believers with lies in this manner.

Today’s meditation verse continues to describe this: "And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash." A true servant of God must expose the spiritual weaknesses of the people. They should point out their sins and guide them toward repentance. Prophet Nathan did exactly this—he made King David aware of his sin and brought him to repentance.

However, I believe that such genuine ministers can be counted on one's fingers today. In the early days of my spiritual journey, Pastor Johnson David of the Indian Pentecostal Church (I.P.C.) was a faithful servant endowed with prophetic gifts who guided me. Simply put, according to today’s verse, he did not know how to apply untampered mortar or whitewash! Without partiality, he would rebuke anyone, convicting them of their errors and warning them. His leadership helped me grow in my spiritual life, though many did not like him because they disliked his firm discipline.

Dearly beloved, if we run only after ministers who offer us comfort and blessings to make us happy, we cannot progress in our spiritual life. Indeed:

"'I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will say to you, "The wall is gone and those who plastered it are gone, along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see a vision of peace for her when there is no peace," declares the Lord GOD.'" — Ezekiel 13:15–16 (NASB)

We must pay close attention to the warning in this Scripture. Both the believers who sought out these ministers (the wall) and the ministers who plastered it (with whitewash) will perish. Yes, the Lord GOD says that the prophets who see visions of peace when there is no peace will cease to exist. Isn't this a profoundly serious warning?

The spiritual life is not a game. Ministry is not meant for making money or gathering crowds to glorify oneself. Let us be cautious and repent. To grow in a genuine spiritual experience, let us cultivate a personal relationship with God. As a first step, let us pray that God Himself will provide us with the right ministers to guide us.

Let us pray:

"Lord, I am blind and do not know You. Show me a faithful spiritual minister who can guide me."

When we do, the Lord GOD promises:

"Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding." —  Jeremiah 3:15 (NASB)
