🦋 Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 3 / Song of Solomon 1:3

"ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1994 

ஜூலை 24 வெள்ளி 2026   

"உமது பரிமளதைலங்கள் இன்பமான வாசனையுள்ளவைகள்; உமது நாமம் ஊற்றுண்ட பரிமளதைலமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் கன்னியர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1 : 3 )

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயரானது பரிமளத் தைலத்தைவிட அதிக வாசனையுள்ளதாக இருக்கின்றது. ஆம், அதன் மணம் இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளைக் கடந்தும் இன்றும் உலகம் முழுவதுமுள்ள அனைத்து மக்களிடமும் வீசிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.  

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "ஆகையால் கன்னியர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, கர்த்தரால் மீட்கப்பட்ட  பாவக்கறை இல்லாத கன்னியர்கள்போல கபடற்ற மக்கள் அவரை நேசிக்கிறார்கள். மட்டுமல்ல, பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளும் மெய்யான மன ஆசை உள்ளவர்களும் அவரது நறுமணத்தை உணர்கின்றார்கள். 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம். இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளேயும், நாங்கள் தேவனுக்குக் கிறிஸ்துவின் நற்கந்தமாயிருக்கிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14, 15 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துவின் நறுமணம் முதலில் நம்மை வெற்றிச்சிறக்கப்பண்ணுகின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, நம்மைக்கொண்டு அவரை மற்றவர்களும் அறியும்படியான வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றது. நாம் கூடியிருக்குமிடத்தில் யாராவது ஒருவர் விலை உயர்ந்த வாசனைத் திரவியத்தைப் பூசிக்கொண்டு வரும்போது அது மற்றவர்களைத் திரும்பிப்பார்க்க வைக்கின்றது அல்லவா?  அதுபோலவே கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனை நம்மில் இருக்குமானால் அது மற்றவர்களுக்கு நம்மை அடையாளப்படுத்துகின்றது. 

அன்று மரியாள் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பாதத்தில் நளதம் எனும் நறுமணத்தைலத்தைப் பூசியபோது அந்த வீடு முழுவதும் வாசனை நிரம்பி அனைவரையும் மகிழ்வித்தது. இதனை நாம், "அப்பொழுது மரியாள் விலையேறப்பெற்ற களங்கமில்லாத நளதம் என்னும் தைலத்தில் ஒரு இராத்தல் கொண்டுவந்து, அதை இயேசுவின் பாதங்களில் பூசி, தன் தலைமயிரால் அவருடைய பாதங்களைத் துடைத்தாள்; அந்த வீடு முழுவதும் தைலத்தின் பரிமளத்தினால் நிறைந்தது." ( யோவான் 12 : 3 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இப்படி மரியாளைப்போல  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் நறுமணத்தை உலகிற்கு அறிவிக்கின்றோம்.

ஆனால் யூதாசைப்போன்ற மனமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு இந்த நறுமணம் பிடிப்பதில்லை. அவன் திருட்டுக் குணமுள்ளவனாக இருந்ததால், "இந்தத் தைலத்தை முந்நூறு பணத்துக்கு விற்று, தரித்திரருக்குக் கொடாமல் போனதென்ன என்றான். அவன் தரித்திரரைக்குறித்துக் கவலைப்பட்டு இப்படிச் சொல்லாமல், அவன் திருடனானபடியினாலும், பணப்பையை வைத்துக்கொண்டு அதிலே போடப்பட்டதைச் சுமக்கிறவனானபடியினாலும் இப்படிச் சொன்னான்." ( யோவான் 12 : 5, 6 ) என்றுகூ றப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, யூதாசைப்போன்ற துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கும், கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனை மரணவாசனையாகவே தெரியும்; அதனை அவர்களால் சகிக்கமுடியாது.  எனவே கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்கும் நாமும் "கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே மரணத்திற்கேதுவான மரணவாசனையாகவும், இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஜீவனுக்கேதுவான ஜீவவாசனையாகவும் இருக்கிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 16 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, கிறிஸ்துவின் பெயர் ஊற்றுண்ட  பரிமளதைலமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் கன்னியர்களான கபடற்றவர்கள் அவரை நேசிக்கிறார்கள். நாமும் உண்மையாக அவரை நேசிப்போமானால் நாமும் கபடற்ற பரிசுத்தமான கன்னியர்களாக இருக்கிறோம் என்று பொருள்; இல்லையானால் அதனை மரணவாசனையாக உணர்ந்த யூதாசைபோன்றவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம் என்று பொருள்.

"AATHAVAN" Meditation – 1994

“Your oils have a pleasing fragrance, Your name is like purified oil; Therefore, the maidens love you.” — Song of Solomon 1:3

The name of our Lord Jesus Christ carries a fragrance far sweeter than any perfumed oil. Indeed, its scent continues to spread across the entire world to all people today, even after two thousand years.

Today’s meditation verse says, “Therefore the maidens love you.” That is to say, guiltless people, like pure maidens redeemed by the Lord, love Him. Moreover, those who possess a true, heartfelt desire to overcome sin also perceive His divine fragrance.

The Apostle Paul expresses this very truth:

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;” — 2 Corinthians 2:14–15

This fragrance of Christ first leads us to triumph. Furthermore, through us, it diffuses a scent so that others may come to know Him. When someone enters a room wearing an expensive perfume, doesn't it cause everyone to turn and look? In the same way, if the fragrance of Christ rests upon us, it identifies us to those around us.

Back then, when Mary anointed the feet of Jesus Christ with precious nard, the entire house was filled with its fragrance, bringing joy to all. We read of this event:

“Mary then took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.” — John 12:3

Like Mary, we too proclaim the fragrance of Christ to the world.

However, those with a mindset like Judas do not appreciate this fragrance. Because he had the heart of a thief, it is written:

“Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and the proceeds given to poor people?” Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it. — John 12:5–6

Yes, dear beloved, to the wicked and those who are perishing—like Judas—the fragrance of Christ feels like an aroma of death; they simply cannot tolerate it. Therefore, as we proclaim Christ, we are:

“to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.” — 2 Corinthians 2:16a

As today’s meditation verse states, the name of Christ is like purified oil poured forth; therefore, the pure and guileless love Him. If we truly love Him, it signifies that we too are pure, holy maidens. If not, it means we are like Judas, who perceived His scent as the aroma of death.
