🦋 Meditation verse - தீத்து 3 : 9 / Titus 3:9

"ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1996 

ஜூலை 26 ஞாயிறு 2026   

"புத்தியீனமான தர்க்கங்களையும், வம்சவரலாறுகளையும், சண்டைகளையும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தைக்குறித்து உண்டாகிற வாக்குவாதங்களையும் விட்டு விலகு; அவைகள் அப்பிரயோஜனமும் வீணுமாயிருக்கும்." ( தீத்து 3 : 9 )

இன்று கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசித்து இரட்சகராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட கிறிஸ்தவர்களிடையே பல்வேறு பிரிவினைகள் இருக்கின்றன. உலகெங்கிலும் சுமார் 2000 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிறிஸ்தவ சபைப் பிரிவுகள் இருக்கின்றன. இவை தவிர சிறு சிறு தனிநபர் சபைகள் இருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் இவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் ஏதாவது ஒரு சிறு கருத்து வித்தியாசத்தால் பிரிந்திருக்கின்றனர். 

இந்தப்பிரிவினையினை நியாயப்படுத்த வேதாகமத்திலுள்ள உண்மைகளைக் குறித்து தங்களுக்குள் தர்க்கமிடுகின்றார், கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பு குறித்தும் அவரது வம்சம், தாய், தகப்பன் குறித்தும், நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் குறித்தும் தாங்கள் புரிந்துகொண்டதுதான் உண்மை என வாதிட்டு மற்றப்பிரிவினரை  தங்களைவிட குறைந்தவர்களாக மதிப்பிட்டு அற்பமாகவும்  எண்ணுகின்றனர். 

இவைகளை புத்தியீனமான தர்க்கங்கள் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். இத்தகைய  சண்டைகளையும்,  வாக்குவாதங்களையும் விட்டு நாம் விலகவேண்டும். காரணம் இவைகள் பிரயோஜனமற்றவையும்  வீணுமாயிருக்கும். இப்படி நாம் தர்க்கம் பண்ணுவதால் நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்கள் ஆகிவிடுவதில்லை. 

நாம் பேசவேண்டியவை ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்காக பாடுகள்பட்டு, நம்மை மீட்டுக்கொண்டு தனக்கு உரியவர்களாக மாற்றிக்கொண்டதை மட்டுமே. அதாவது கிறிஸ்துவின் மீட்பளிக்கும் வல்லமைக்குறித்து மட்டுமே நாம் பேசவேண்டும். இதனையே அவர் தனது சீடனாகிய தீத்துவுக்குப் பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றார்:-

"அவர் நம்மைச் சகல அக்கிரமங்களினின்று மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, தமக்குரிய சொந்த ஜனங்களாகவும், நற்கிரியைகளைச்செய்ய பக்திவைராக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்படி, நமக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். இவைகளை நீ பேசி, போதித்து, சகல அதிகாரத்தோடும் கடிந்துகொள். ஒருவனும் உன்னை அசட்டைபண்ண இடங்கொடாதிருப்பாயாக." ( தீத்து 2 : 14, 15 )

தர்க்கம் செய்யாமல் கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தை அதிகாரத்தோடும் கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலோடும் நாம் கூறவேண்டும். மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட காரியங்களில்  யாராவது நம்மிடம் தேவையற்ற வாக்குவாதங்களில் ஈடுபட்டால் பதிலுக்கு அவர்களோடு வாக்குவாதம் செய்யாமல்,  "முதலில் உனது பாவங்களை கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பைப் பெற்றுக்கொள், தேவையில்லாமல் பேசி வாக்குவாதம் செய்யாதே" என்று நாம் துணிவுடனும் அதிகாரத்துடனும் கூறவேண்டும். இதனையே பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர், "சகல அதிகாரத்தோடும் கடிந்துகொள். ஒருவனும் உன்னை அசட்டைபண்ண இடங்கொடாதிருப்பாயாக" என்கின்றார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவையற்ற காரியங்களில் தர்க்கங்களிலும் சண்டைகளிலும் ஈடுபடாமல் கிறிஸ்துவின் மீட்பளிக்கும் வல்லமையினை  மட்டும் அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலாகக் கூறுவோம். தர்க்கமிடும் பலரும் பாவம், இரட்சிப்பு எனும் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டால் ஒதுங்கிவிடுவார்கள். காரணம், தேவையற்ற விவாதங்களில் ஈடுபடும் பெயர் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் பலருக்கும் இவை ஒவ்வாமையாகவே (அலர்ஜியாகவே) இருக்கும்.

"AATHAVAN" Meditation - 1996

"But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless." — Titus 3:9

Today, among Christians who believe in Christ and have accepted Him as their Savior, there are numerous divisions. Throughout the world, there are over 2,000 Christian denominations. Besides these, there are many small independent churches. However, they remain divided over minor differences in opinion among themselves.

To justify these divisions, they argue over truths found in the Bible. They debate about the birth of Christ, His lineage, His mother, His father, and the Law—claiming that only their understanding is the truth. Consequently, they look down upon other denominations, viewing them as inferior and despising them.

The Apostle Paul calls these "foolish controversies." We must avoid such strife and disputes because they are unprofitable and worthless. Arguing in this manner does not make us acceptable to God.

What we should speak about is solely how the Lord Jesus Christ suffered for us, redeemed us, and made us His own. That is, we should speak only about the redeeming power of Christ. Paul highlights this very point to his disciple Titus:

"who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you." — Titus 2:14–15

Instead of engaging in arguments, we must speak the Gospel of Christ with authority and reproof. If anyone engages in unnecessary disputes with us regarding the aforementioned matters, we should not argue back. Instead, we must boldly and authoritatively tell them: "First, confess your sins to Christ and receive forgiveness; do not talk needlessly and argue." This is why the Apostle Paul instructs, "reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you."

Yes, beloved friends, let us not get involved in disputes and fights over unnecessary matters. Instead, let us point them to the redeeming power of Christ as our response. Many who love to argue will back away when they hear the words "sin" and "salvation," because for many nominal Christians who engage in unnecessary debates, these topics are like an allergy.
