எல்லாவற்றுக்காகவும் நன்றி கூறுவோம் / GIVE THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,068              டிசம்பர் 31, 2023 ஞாயிற்றுகிழமை  

"கர்த்தரை துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. தேவாதி தேவனைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 1, 2 )

2023  ஆம் ஆண்டின் இறுதி நாளில் வந்திருக்கின்றோம். இந்தநாளில் தேவன் நமக்குப் பல நன்மைகளைச்  செய்திருக்கலாம்; அதுபோல ஒருவேளை நாம் சில துன்பங்கள் இழப்புகளைச் சந்தித்திருக்கலாம். என்ன நடந்தாலும் நன்றி சொல்வதும் ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்வதும் தேவனுக்கு உகந்தது. ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்யும்போது நாம் தேவன் நமக்குச் செய்தவைகளுக்காக நன்றி கூறுகின்றோம். அவரது கிருபையால்தான் நாம் உயிர்வாழ்கின்றோம். எனவேதான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "கர்த்தரை துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. தேவாதி தேவனைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." என்கின்றார்.

136 வது சங்கீதம் ஒரு துதியின் சங்கீதம். தேவன் செய்த ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும்நினைத்து நன்றிகூறும் சங்கீதம்.  இந்தச் சங்கீதம் முழுவதையும் தியான சிந்தையோடு வாசித்துப்பாருங்கள். தேவனை ஸ்தோத்தரியுங்கள். நமது வாழ்வில் ஏற்பட்ட தாழ்வு நிலையில் தேவன் நம்மோடு இருந்திருக்கின்றார். எனவே அவருக்கு நன்றி கூறுவோம். "நம்முடைய தாழ்வில் நம்மை நினைத்தவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 23 )

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது துன்பங்களைப்  பெரிதுபடுத்தாமல் தேவனைத் துதித்து மகிமைப்படுத்தும்போது நமது வாழ்வில் விடுதலைக் கிடைக்கும்.  இந்த ஆண்டில் பாவங்கள், நோய்கள், பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் போன்ற சத்துருக்களின் கையிலிருந்து அவர் நம்மை விடுத்துள்ளார். எனவேதான் நாம் இந்த வருடத்தின் இறுதிநாளைக் காண்கின்றோம். எனவே,  "நம்முடைய சத்துருக்களின் கையிலிருந்து நம்மை விடுதலைபண்ணினவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது." ( சங்கீதம் 136 : 24  )

துதிக்கும்போது கட்டுக்கள் தடைகள் தகர்கின்றன. எரிகோவின் மதில்கள் துதியினால் இடிந்து விழுந்தன. சிறைச்சாலையில் தங்களது கால்கள் தொழுமரத்தில் கட்டிவைக்கப்பட்டு  துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டபோதும் பவுலும் சீலாவும் தேவனைத் துதித்தனர். அற்புதமான விடுதலையினைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். 

"நடுராத்திரியிலே பவுலும் சீலாவும் ஜெபம்பண்ணி, தேவனைத் துதித்துப்பாடினார்கள்; காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். சடிதியிலே சிறைச்சாலையின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசையும்படியாக பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது; உடனே கதவுகளெல்லாம் திறவுண்டது; எல்லாருடைய கட்டுகளும் கழன்றுபோயிற்று." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 16 : 25, 26 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது துன்பங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள், நோய்கள், இவற்றையேப்   பார்த்துக் கலங்கிடாமல் தேவனைத் துதிக்க ஆரம்பிப்போம். நமது வாழ்விலும் அடைக்கபட்டக் கதவுகளெல்லாம் திறவுபடும்; நம்மைக் கட்டியுள்ள எல்லாக் கட்டுகளும்  கழன்றுபோகும். 

"ஸ்தோத்திர பலியிடுகிறவன் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறான்; தன் வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவனுக்கு தேவனுடைய இரட்சிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 50 : 23 ) என வேதத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்யும்போது தேவனை நாம் மகிமைப்படுத்துகின்றோம். அத்துடன் நமது வழிகளை நாம் சீர்படுத்தும்போது தனது இரட்சிப்பை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்கின்றார் கர்த்தர். 

ஆண்டின் இறுதிநாட்களில் தேவன் நமக்குச் செய்த நன்மைகள் நாம் அனுபவித்தத்  தீமைகள் அனைத்துக்காகவும் தேவனுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லி ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்வதுடன் வரவிருக்கும் புத்தாண்டில் நமது வழிகளைச் சீர்படுத்தி  புதிய ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ  நம்மை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். கர்த்தர்தாமே வரவிருக்கும் புதிய ஆண்டில் நம்மோடு இருந்து நம்மை வழி நடத்துவாராக.

'AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,068                          Sunday, December 31, 2023

"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalms 136: 1,2)

We have arrived at the last day of 2023. God may have done us many favors on this year; Similarly, we may have suffered some losses. It is good to give thanks and praise to God no matter what happened. When we praise God, we thank God for what He has done for us. It is by His grace that we survive. That is why the psalmist says, “give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: Give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Psalm 136 is a psalm of praise. A thanksgiving psalm for all that God has done. Read this entire Psalm with a meditative mind. Praise God. God has been with us in the low state of our lives. So, let's thank him. "Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:" (Psalms 136: 23)

Beloved, when we praise and glorify God without exaggerating our sufferings, we find liberation in our lives. He has freed us from the hands of enemies like sins, diseases, problems and sufferings in this year. That is why we are seeing the end of this year. Therefore, praise Him "And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalms 136: 24)

Shackles and obstacles are broken when praising. Jericho's walls crumbled with praise. Paul and Silas praised God even when their feet were tied and being tortured in prison. They got a wonderful release.

"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." (Acts 16: 26) we read.

So dear ones, let's start praising God instead of worrying about our sufferings, problems, diseases. All closed doors in our lives will open; All the shackles that bind us will come off.

"Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God." (Psalms 50: 23) we read in the scriptures. Yes, we glorify God when we praise. And when we mend our ways, the Lord says that He will reveal His salvation to us.

In the last day of this year, we thank God for all the good things we have received and all the bad things we have experienced. May the Lord himself be with us and guide us in the coming New  Year.
