உங்கள் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள் / CONSIDER YOUR WAYS

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,067               டிசம்பர் 30, 2023 சனிக்கிழமை  

"முந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமையைப்பார்க்கிலும், இந்தப் பிந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமை பெரிதாயிருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இவ்விடத்திலே சமாதானத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார். " ( ஆகாய் 2 : 9 )

புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் அடிப்படையில் நமது உடலே தேவன் வாழும் ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறது. (1 கொரிந்தியர் 3:16 மற்றும் 6: 19). இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் முந்தின ஆலயம் , பிந்தின ஆலயம் எனும் வார்த்தைகளைக் காண்கின்றோம். முந்தின ஆலயம் என்பது நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்குமுன் இருந்த ஆலயத்தையும் பிந்தின ஆலயம் என்பது நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்து ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ ஆரம்பித்தப் பின்னுள்ள ஆலயத்தையும் குறிக்கின்றது.  

சரி, முன்னுள்ள ஆலயம் எப்படி இருந்தது? அதனை ஆகாய தீர்க்கதரிசி பின்வருமாறு கூறுகின்றார்:- "நீங்கள் திரளாய் விதைத்தும் கொஞ்சமாய் அறுத்துக்கொண்டுவருகிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் புசித்தும் திருப்தியாகவில்லை; குடித்தும் பரிபூரணமடையவில்லை; நீங்கள் வஸ்திரம் உடுத்தியும் ஒருவனுக்கும் குளிர்விடவில்லை; கூலியைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறவன் பொத்தலான பையிலே போடுகிறவனாய் அதைச் சம்பாதிக்கிறான்.' ( ஆகாய் 1 : 6 )

கிறிஸ்து இல்லாத ஆலயம் இப்படி ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத வாழ்க்கையாக இருந்தது. நமது வாழ்க்கை ஏன் இப்படி இருக்கின்றது என சிந்தித்து நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். எனவே, "உங்கள் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஆகாய் 1 : 7 )

ஆனால் இன்று பலர் ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத வாழ்க்கை ஏன் என்பதைச் சிந்தித்துத் தங்களைத் திருத்திக்கொள்வதை விட்டு  குறுக்கு வழிகளில் முயல்கின்றனர். கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று தங்களைக் கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும்கூட ஜாதகம் , ஜோசியம் பார்க்கின்றனர். தங்கள் கைகளில் மந்திரித்த கயிறுகளைக் கட்டிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

ஆனால் ஆகாய் மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்கள் மலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போய், மரங்களை வெட்டிக்கொண்டுவந்து, ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுங்கள்; அதன்பேரில் நான் பிரியமாயிருப்பேன், அதனால் என் மகிமை விளங்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஆகாய் 1 : 8 )

அதாவது மேற்படி ஆசீர்வாதமில்லாத முந்தின ஆலயம் சரிபடுத்தப்பட வேண்டுமானால் நாம் கல்வாரி மலையில் ஏறவேண்டும். கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவை மரத்தைக் கொண்டு நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி எழுப்பவேண்டும்.  அதன்பேரில் நான் பிரியமாயிருப்பேன், அதனால் என் மகிமை விளங்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்டு மகிமையடையவேண்டும். 

அப்போது கிறிஸ்து இல்லாத முந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமையைப்பார்க்கிலும், இந்தப் பிந்தின ஆலயத்தின் மகிமை பெரிதாயிருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; மட்டுமல்ல, நமது வாழ்வில் மெய்யான சமாதானத்தைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார்.  

கல்வாரி மலையில் ஏறுவோம்; சிலுவைமரத்தைக் கொண்டு நமது உடலாகிய ஆலயத்தைத் தேவ  மகிமைவிளங்கக் கட்டுவோம்.

'AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,067                  December 30, 2023 Saturday

"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts." (Haggai 2: 9)

According to the New Testament our body is the temple where God lives. (1 Corinthians 3:16 and 6:19). In today's meditation verse, we see the words "former house (temple)" and "later house (temple)". The former house refers to the house before we came to know Christ and the latter house refers to the house after we came to know Christ and begin to live a spiritual life. The house here refers to temple of God.

Well, what was the former temple like? The prophet Haggai says it as follows: - "Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." (Haggai 1: 6)

A church without Christ was such a useless life. We have to think why our life is like this and correct ourselves. Therefore, "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." (Haggai 1: 7)

But many people today are trying shortcut ways to avoid reforming themselves and wondering why they are living an unblessed life. Even many who claim to be Christians consult horoscopes and seek fortune-tellers. They also tie enchanted ropes around their wrists.

But God says through Haggai, "Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.' (Haggai 1: 8)

That is, if we want to repair the previous temple that was without blessing, we have to climb the hill of Calvary. We must build the temple which is our body with the wood of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will delight in it, and so my glory will shine forth, says the Lord. Yes, beloved, our body, the temple, is to be glorified and surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

Then the glory of this latter temple will be greater than the glory of the former temple without Christ, says the Lord of hosts; Not only that, the Lord of hosts says that He will command true peace in our lives.

Let us climb the mountain of Calvary; Let us glorify the temple that is our body with the cross.
