திருப்தி / CONTENTMENT

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,044               டிசம்பர் 07, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை

"என் ஜனங்கள் நான் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியாவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 31 : 14 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் "என் ஜனங்கள்" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதாவது  உலக மக்கள் வேறு, கர்த்தரது மக்கள் வேறு. கர்த்தரால் மீட்பு அனுபவம் பெற்றவர்கள்தான் அவரது மக்கள்.

மற்ற மக்கள் உலக ஆசை இச்சைகளால் இழுப்புண்டு அவற்றைப் பெறுவதே வாழ்க்கையின் இலட்சியமாக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் எவ்வளவு கொடுத்தாலும் திருப்தியடையமாட்டார்கள். ஆசைக்கு அளவில்லை என்பது இந்த மக்களைக்குறித்தே கூறப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகள். இந்த மனிதர்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் மற்றவர்களுடன் ஒப்பிட்டுத் தங்களுக்கு அப்படி இல்லையே என்று ஏங்குபவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். 

ஆனால் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்புடைய அவரது மக்கள் அவர் கொடுக்கும் நன்மைகளால் மன நிறைவடைபவர்களாக வாழ்வார்கள். அவர்கள் போதுமென்ற மனமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வார்கள். எனவேதான், "போதுமென்கிற மனதுடனே கூடிய தேவபக்தியே மிகுந்த ஆதாயம்." ( 1 தீமோத்தேயு 6 : 6 ) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் தனது சீடனான தீமோத்தேயுக்கு எழுதுகின்றார். 

மேலும், "நீங்கள் பண ஆசையில்லாதவர்களாய் நடந்து, உங்களுக்கு இருக்கிறவைகள் போதுமென்று எண்ணுங்கள்; நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை என்று அவர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே." ( எபிரெயர் 13 : 5 ) என்று எபிரெய நிரூப ஆசிரியர் எழுதுகின்றார். உங்களுக்கு உள்ளவைகள் போதும் என்று எண்ணுங்கள் ஏனெனில் நான் உங்களை விட்டு விலகுவதில்லை. சர்வ லோகத்தையும் படைத்த தேவன் நம்மைவிட்டு விலகாமல் இருப்பதே மிகப்பெரிய பாதுகாப்புதானே? 

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று ஒருவேளை மற்றவர்களைவிட நாம் பொருளாதாரத்திலும் வசதிகளிலும் குறைவானவர்களாக இருக்கலாம்.  ஆனால், இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி நாம் அவரது மக்களாக வாழ்வோமானால், நாம் அந்தக் குறைவிலேயே திருப்தியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். ஆம், தேவனுடைய மக்கள்  அவர் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியாவார்கள். 

இன்று நாம் கண்ணீரோடு கவலையோடு வாழலாம். ஆனால் நாம் தேவனுக்காகச் செய்யும் பிரயாசங்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாகப் பலனுண்டு என்கிறார் கர்த்தர்.  "நீ அழாதபடிக்கு உன் சத்தத்தை அடக்கி, நீ கண்ணீர்விடாதபடிக்கு உன் கண்களைக் காத்துக்கொள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; உன் கிரியைக்குப் பலனுண்டென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 31 : 16 )

மெய்யான மீட்பு அனுபவம் பெற்றவர்களானால் நம்மிடம் தேவன் மேலுள்ள விசுவாசம் அதிகமாகவே இருக்கும். மற்ற உலக மனிதர்களைப்போல நாம் சொத்து சுகங்கள், பதவிகள் என அலைந்து திரியமாட்டோம். அவர் தருவதில் மன நிறைவும் திருப்தியும் உள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.  அதனையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். தேவனுக்கேற்ற மக்களாக வாழும் நமது செயல்பாடுகளை தேவன் கவனித்துப்பார்க்கின்றார். நமக்குத் தேவையானவைகளை நிச்சயம் தருவார். எனவேதான் கூறுகின்றார், "என் ஜனங்கள் நான் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியாவார்கள்." 

தேவனுக்கேற்ற மக்களாக வாழ்ந்து அவர் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியான வாழ்வு வாழ்வோம். போதுமென்கிற மனதுடனே கூடிய தேவபக்தியே மிகுந்த ஆதாயம்.

                    CONTENTMENT 

'AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,044                      Thursday, December 07, 2023

"....... my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 31: 14)

In today's meditation verse, the words "my people" are used. That is, the people of the world are different, and the people of God are different. His people are those who have experienced salvation from God.

Other people are drawn by worldly desires and their aim in life is to obtain them. No matter how much they are given, they will not be satisfied. “Desire is limitless” is the saying about these people. These people tend to compare everything to others and wish they didn't have it.

But His people who are acceptable to the Lord will live satisfied with the benefits He gives. They will live with self-sufficiency. That is why, "But godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6: 6) Apostle Paul writes to his disciple Timothy.

"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13: 5) writes the author of Hebrews. Consider that what you have is enough for I will never leave you. God who created the whole world does not leave us is that not the greatest protection?

Beloved, today perhaps we are less economically and comfortably than others. But as today's verse says, if we live as His people, we will live contented with that lack. Yes, God's people will be satisfied with the goodness He provides.

Today we can live with tears and worries. But the efforts we make for God will surely be rewarded, says the Lord. "Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 31: 16)

If we have experienced real salvation, we will have more faith in God. Like other worldly people, we do not wander about wealth, pleasures, and positions. Let us live contented and satisfied with what He gives. That is what God wants. God watches over our activities as people who live according to God. He will surely give us what we need. That is why He says, "My people will be satisfied with the good that I give them."

Let us live as God's people and live a contented life with the goodness He gives. Devotion with a sufficient heart is of great gain.
