💥"ஆதவன்" 🌳தியானம் - எண் 1936

📆2026 மே 27, புதன் 

"அவன், நீதியையும், இச்சையடக்கத்தையும், இனிவரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பையும்குறித்துப் பேசுகையில், பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்து: இப்பொழுது நீ போகலாம், எனக்குச் சமயமானபோது உன்னை அழைப்பிப்பேன் என்றான்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 24 : 25 )

பொதுவாக மனிதர்களுக்குத் தங்களது குற்றங்களையும், குறைகளையும், பாவங்களையும் பிறர் எடுத்துக்கூறுவது பிடிக்காது. அதிலும் ஆட்சி அதிகாரத்திலுள்ளவர்களுக்கு தங்களைப்  பிறர் குறைகூறுவதை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவே முடியாதது. ஆனால், அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர்கள் தங்களது வாழ்க்கையினை மாற்றிக்கொள்ள வழியுண்டு. இதுபோலவே, விசாரணைக் கைதியான பவுல் பேசிய பேச்சுக்கள் பேலிக்சை உள்ளத்தில் குத்தியதால் அவன் பயமடைந்தான். ஆனாலும் அவன் மனம் திரும்பவில்லை.  

உண்மையினை நேருக்குநேர் சந்திக்க பலரும் விரும்புவதில்லை.  பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவும் அப்படியே இருந்தான். பவுல், நீதியையும், இச்சையடக்கத்தையும், இனிவரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பையும்குறித்துப் பேசுகையில், பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்தான் என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இந்த பயத்துக்குக் காரணம் என்ன? அவனிடம் நீதி, இட்சையடக்கம் போன்ற குணங்கள் இல்லை என்று பொருள். எனவே அவன் இருதயத்தில் குத்தப்பட்டான்.

யூதர்கள் குற்றம் சுமத்தி பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டு  ரோமையில் விசாரணைக் கைதியாக இருந்தபோது அவரிடம் பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜா விசாரணை செய்தான். அந்த நியாய விசாரணையிலும்கூட பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலரது பதில்களும் மறுமொழிகளும் சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகளாகவே வெளிவந்தன. பவுல் பேசிய பேச்சுக்களைக் கேட்டு பேலிக்ஸ் பயமடைந்தான்.  

இன்றும் பலர் இதுபோலவே இருக்கின்றனர். ஆதவன் வேதாகம தியானங்களை வாசிக்கும் பலரும் ஆசீர்வாதச் செய்திகள் இருந்தால் அதனை இரசித்துப் பேசுகின்றனர். அதேவேளையில் தங்களைப் பாதிக்கும் அல்லது உள்ளத்தில் அவர்களைக் குத்தக்கூடிய செய்திகளை விரும்புவதில்லை. சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் ஆதவன் செய்திகளுக்கு வரும் விமரிசனங்களைப் பார்த்தாலே  இது புரியும்.  ஆம்,  எப்போதும் ஆசீவாத வசனங்களையே கூறிக்கொண்டிருந்தால் பாராட்டுவார்கள். தங்களது மறைமுகப் பாவங்களை உணர்த்தும் வசனங்களுக்கான விளக்கத்தைப் பெரும்பாலும் மக்கள் விரும்புவதில்லை. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் பேசிய வார்த்தைகள் பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவை அச்சுறுத்தின. எனவே அவன், "நீ போகலாம், எனக்குச் சமயம் கிடைக்கும்போது உன்னை அழைப்பேன்" என்று கூறி அனுப்பிவிட்டான். அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் எல்லோரும் மனம் திரும்பவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புவதால் பொறுமையோடு காத்திருந்து பல்வேறு விதமாகத் தன்னை மக்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். அந்தச் சந்தர்ப்பங்களை நாம் பயன்படுத்தாமல்  பேலிக்ஸ் ராஜாவைப்போல, "எனக்குச் சமயம் கிடைக்கும்போது பேசலாம், நீ போ "  என உதறிவிட்டோமானால் இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தை நாம் பெறமுடியாது.  

குறிப்பிட்டச்  சில வேத வசனங்களைக் கேட்கும்போது நமக்கு எரிச்சலோ, கோபமோ பயமோ வருகின்றது என்றால் நம்மிடம் ஏதோ குறை இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். வசனத்தின்மேலோ, அதனைக் கூறுபவர் மேலோ கோபம் கொள்ளாமல் நம்மை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்து தேவனிடம் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டு மனம் திரும்புவோம். 

"அநுக்கிரக காலத்திலே நான் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இரட்சணியநாளிலே உனக்கு உதவிசெய்தேன் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறாரே; இதோ, இப்பொழுதே அநுக்கிரககாலம், இப்பொழுதே இரட்சணியநாள்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 6 : 2 )  பேலிக்ஸ் இராஜாவைப்போல, "நீ போகலாம் எனக்குச் சமயம் கிடைக்கும்போது உனது பேச்சைக் கேட்பேன்" எனும் மனநிலை நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அறியமுடியாத நிலை ஏற்படலாம். 

"கர்த்தரைக் கண்டடையத்தக்க சமயத்தில் அவரைத் தேடுங்கள்; அவர் சமீபமாயிருக்கையில் அவரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 6 )

💥 "AATHAVAN" 🌳 Meditation - No. 1936

"But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, 'Go away for the present, and when I find time, I will summon you.'" (Acts 24:25, NASB)

Generally, humans do not like it when others point out their faults, shortcomings, and sins. This is especially true for those in positions of power and authority—accepting criticism from others is almost impossible for them. However, for those who do accept it, there is a path to change their lives. In a similar way, the words spoken by Paul, a prisoner awaiting trial, pierced Felix to the heart and filled him with fear. Yet, he did not repent.

Many people do not want to face the truth face-to-face. King Felix was just the same. We read that as Paul spoke about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come; Felix became frightened. What was the reason for this fear? It meant that qualities like righteousness and self-control were absent in his life. Therefore, his heart was convicted.

When the Apostle Paul was arrested under accusations from the Jews and held as a prisoner for trial in Caesarea, King Felix interrogated him. Even in that legal trial, Paul’s answers and defences manifested purely as gospel proclamations. Hearing the words Paul spoke, Felix became terrified.

Today, many people are just like this. Many who read the Aathavan Bible meditations thoroughly enjoy and talk about messages of blessing. At the same time, they do not like messages that impact them personally or pierce their hearts. This becomes quite obvious when looking at the comments left on Aathavan messages across social media. Yes, if you constantly speak words of blessing, people will praise you. But most people do not appreciate the explanation of verses that expose their hidden sins.

The words spoken by the Apostle Paul terrified King Felix. Therefore, he sent him away, saying, "Go away for the present, and when I find time, I will summon you." Beloved, because God desires everyone to repent, He waits patiently and reveals Himself to people in various ways. If we fail to use those opportunities and brush them off like King Felix, saying, "Go away, I will speak to you when I find time," we cannot attain the experience of salvation.

If hearing certain scriptures causes us irritation, anger, or fear, it means there is some deficiency within us. Instead of getting angry at the verse or the person sharing it, let us examine ourselves, ask God for forgiveness, and repent.

"...for He says, 'At a favourable time I listened to you, and on a day of salvation I helped you.' Behold, now is 'a favourable time,' behold, now is 'a day of salvation'—" (2 Corinthians 6:2, NASB)

If we harbour a mindset like King Felix—thinking, "You may leave, I will listen to your speech when I have time"—we may end up in a state where we never truly come to know Christ in our lives.

"Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6, NASB)
