🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 45 : 6 / Isaiah 45:6

 "ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1952

2026 ஜூன் 12,  வெள்ளி        

"என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்; நானே கர்த்தர், வேறொருவர் இல்லை." ( ஏசாயா 45 : 6 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் ஒரு நிறுவனம் ஒருவரை எந்த வேலைக்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தாலும் அதற்கு ஒரு நோக்கமுண்டு. நோக்கமில்லாமல் எவருக்கும் ஒரு நிறுவனம் வேலைவாய்ப்புக் கொடுப்பதில்லை. இந்த வேலையினை நாம் செய்வதற்கு அந்த நிறுவனம் நமக்கு பல்வேறு உதவிகளையும் செய்யும். 

இதுபோலவே, இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவன் நம்மைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்து, தம்மை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தி வழிநடத்தி வருகின்றாரென்றால் அதற்கு ஒரு நோக்கமுண்டு. அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, "என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

நமது கர்த்தரே மெய்யான தெய்வம் என்பதனை சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசைமுதல் அது மறையும் திசைவரையுள்ள மக்கள் அறியும்படிக்கு அவர் நம்மைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்துள்ளார். அப்படி நாம் அவரை பிறர் அறியச் செய்யவேண்டுமானால், நாம் சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  இதற்காகவே நாம் அவரை அறியாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு இருந்தபோதும் அவர் தன்னை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வெறுமனே நமக்கு அவர் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தினார் என்று கூறாமல் தொடர்ந்து, "நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. இடைக்கட்டு என்பது நம்மைப் பலப்படுத்துவதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசைமுதல் அது மறையும் திசைவரையுள்ள மக்கள் தன்னை அறியும்படிக்கு நம்மை அவர் தெரிந்தெடுத்தது மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் அப்படி அவரை மற்றவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்த நம்மைப் பலப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். அந்த பலம்தான் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்.  

நாம் நமது சொந்த பலத்தில் இந்த உலகத்துக்கு கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவிக்கமுடியாது. தவறாமல் ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்வதாலோ, ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வதாலோ, காணிக்கைகள் கொடுப்பதாலோ, ஆலய கட்டுமானப் பணிகளுக்கு உதவுவதாலோ அவரை உலகுக்கு அறிவிக்க முடியாது.  இதற்குமேல் நமக்கு சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கைத் தேவை.  பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வந்து நாம் சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழாதவரை கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் உலகிற்கு வெளிப்படுத்த முடியாது. 

எனவேதான் உயிர்த்தெழுந்த கிறிஸ்துத் தனது சீடர்களிடம், "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள் என்றார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 ) ஆம், இந்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் பலம்தான் நமக்கு இடைக்கட்டு. அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போதுதான் நாம் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்து சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசைமுதல் அது மறையும் திசைவரையுள்ள மக்கள் அவரை அறியும்படிச் செய்யமுடியும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவரை நாம் அறியாதிருந்தும், தன்னை அவர்  நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியது மட்டுமல்ல, இடைக்கட்டாக பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரையும் தந்துள்ளார். அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக நாம் வாழவேண்டுமானால்  நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட அவரது நோக்கத்தை நாம் நிறைவேற்றுபவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை மூலமே நாம் அவரை உலகுக்கு அறிவிக்கமுடியும் என்பதால் நாம் நமது பேச்சிலும், செயலிலும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோம். அப்போதுதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றபடி கர்த்தரைத்தவிர  வேறு தேவன் ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் உள்ள மக்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

"That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I will gird you, though you have not known Me." — Isaiah 45:6 (NASB)

In this world, whenever an organization selects someone for a job, there is always a purpose behind it. No organization provides employment to anyone without a purpose. Furthermore, that organization will offer various forms of assistance to help us carry out this work.

Similarly, if God has chosen us in this world, revealed Himself to us, and is leading us, He has a purpose for it. Today's meditation verse highlights exactly that: "That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me."

He has chosen us so that people from the rising of the sun to its setting may know that our Lord is the true God. If we are to make Him known to others, it is essential that we live a life of witness. It is for this very reason that He revealed Himself to us, even when we were living a life without knowing Him.

Today’s meditation verse does not merely stop at saying He revealed Himself to us; it goes on to say, "I will gird you." Girding signifies strengthening us. He has not only chosen us so that people from the rising of the sun to its setting may know Him, but He has also strengthened us to reveal Him to others. That strength is the Holy Spirit.

We cannot proclaim Christ to this world in our own strength. We cannot make Him known to the world simply by attending church without fail, participating in prayer meetings, giving tithes, or helping with church construction work. Beyond all of this, we need a life of witness. Unless the Holy Spirit comes inside us and we live a life of witness, we cannot reveal Christ to the world.

That is why the resurrected Christ said to His disciples:

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." — Acts 1:8 (NASB)

Yes, the power of this Holy Spirit is our "girding." Only when He comes within us can we live a life of witness and cause people from the rising of the sun to its setting to know Him.

Yes, dearly beloved, not only did He reveal Himself to us when we did not know Him, but He has also given us the Holy Spirit as our girding strength. If we want to live gratefully toward Him, it is essential that we live as fulfillers of the purpose for which He chose us.

Since it is only through our life of witness that we can proclaim Him to the world, let us live a life worthy of Christ in both our speech and our actions. Only then, as today's meditation verse declares, will people from the rising of the sun to its setting know that there is no other God besides the Lord.
