🦋 Meditation verse - ஓசியா 2 : 19, 20 / Hosea 2:19-20

 "ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1967

ஜூன் 27, சனி 2026  

"நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். உண்மையாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீ கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளுவாய்." ( ஓசியா 2 : 19, 20 )

தேவனுக்கும் நமக்குமான உறவு திருமண உறவு போன்றது; உண்மையான கணவன் மனைவி அன்பு போன்றதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்,  "இதனிமித்தம் மனுஷன் தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் தாயையும் விட்டு, தன் மனைவியுடன் இசைந்து, இருவரும் ஒரே மாம்சமாயிருப்பார்கள். இந்த இரகசியம் பெரியது; நான் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றியும் சபையைப்பற்றியும் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( எபேசியர் 5 : 31, 32 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். மேலும் தேவன் மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் அன்பு உண்மையான காதலர்களின் உறவுபோல கள்ளமில்லாத அன்புறவு உள்ளதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இதனையே உன்னத சங்கீதங்களில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி அவர்மேல் உண்மையான அன்புள்ளவர்கள்தான் தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியமுடியும். இத்தகைய  "அன்பில்லாதவன் தேவனை அறியான்; தேவன் அன்பாகவே இருக்கிறார்." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 8 ) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் கூறுகின்றார்.

இத்தகைய தேவ அன்புடன் வாழ்பவர்களைப் பார்த்துத்தான்  இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தேவன், நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்;  கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். உண்மையாய் உன்னை எனக்கு நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நீ கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள்ளுவாய் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

ஆம் கர்த்தர் நம்மை அவருக்கு மணவாட்டிகளாக நியமித்துக்கொள்வேன் என்கின்றார்.  இந்த உலகத்தில் ஒரு செல்வந்தனான  வாலிபன் ஒரு ஏழைப் பெண்ணை மணமுடிக்க தெரிந்துகொள்கின்றான் என்றால் அது அவளுக்கு  எத்தனை மகிழ்ச்சிக்குரியதாக இருக்கும் என எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். இதுபோலவே நாம் பாவத்தின் கொடூரத்தில் சிக்கி ஆத்துமாவில் ஏழையாகிப்போனவர்கள். நம்மை இந்த சர்வ லோகத்தையும் படைத்து ஆளும் தேவன் தனக்கு மணவாட்டிகளாகத் தெரிந்துகொள்கின்றாரென்றால் அது எத்தனை மகிழ்ச்சியான காரியம்!!

இப்படி, "அவர் முந்தி நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தபடியால் நாமும் அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறோம்." ( 1 யோவான்  4 : 19 ) ஆம், முந்தி நம்மேல் அவர் அன்புகொண்டதால்தான் நமக்காகச் சிலுவை மரணத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். ஆனால் நாம் இன்னும் அவர்மேல் முழுமையான அன்பு செலுத்தாமல் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவே அவரைத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் நம்மை எச்சரித்துக் கூறுகின்றார், "உலகத்திலும் உலகத்திலுள்ளவைகளிலும் அன்புகூராதிருங்கள்; ஒருவன் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தால் அவனிடத்தில் பிதாவின் அன்பில்லை." ( 1 யோவான்  2 : 15 )

நம்மை நித்திய விவாகத்துக்கென்று அவர் தெரிந்தெடுத்துள்ளார். நீதியும் நியாயமும் கிருபையும் உருக்க இரக்கமுமாய் நம்மைத் தமக்காக நியமித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்கின்றார். ஆனால் நாமோ அவரை அன்பு செய்யாமல் அவரிடமிருந்து நமக்கு என்ன கிடைக்கும் என உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத்தேடி அலைந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றோம். அதாவது இப்படி நாம் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களை மட்டுமே அவரிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்போமென்றால் அவரை நாம் உண்மையாக அன்பு செய்யவில்லை என்று பொருள். இப்படி இருப்போமானால் நாம் இறுதிவரை கர்த்தரை வாழ்வில் அறிந்துகொள்ளாதவர்களாகவே மரிப்போம்.  

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரை உண்மையாக அன்பு செலுத்தி அவரிடம் உண்மையான அன்புடன் வாழ்வோம். இப்படி அவர்மேல் அன்பில்லாதவன் தேவனை அறியான்.

"AATHAVAN" Meditation - 1967

June 27, Saturday 2026

"I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In favour and in compassion, And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord." (Hosea 2:19-20 NASB)

Our relationship with God is like a marital relationship; it is meant to be like the true love between a husband and a wife. This is why the Apostle Paul says, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church." (Ephesians 5:31-32 NASB). Furthermore, it is essential that the love we hold for God is a pure, innocent love, much like the relationship between true lovers. We read about this in the Song of Solomon.

Yes, dear ones, only those who have such true love for Him can truly know God in their lives. The Apostle John speaks of this, saying, "The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love." (1 John 4:8 NASB).

It is to those who live with such divine love that God says in today's meditation verse: I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you to Me in favour and in compassion. I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you will know the Lord.

Yes, the Lord says He will betroth us to Himself as His bride. Imagine how filled with joy a poor girl would be if a wealthy young man in this world chose to marry her. In the same way, we were those who became spiritually poor, trapped in the cruelty of sin. If the God who created and rules this entire universe chooses us as His bride, how incredibly joyful a thing that is!

Thus, "We love, because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19 NASB). Yes, it is because He first loved us that He accepted death on the cross for our sake. However, we still do not offer Him our complete love; instead, we continue to seek Him merely for worldly blessings. This is why the Apostle John warns us, saying, "Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15 NASB).

He has chosen us for an eternal marriage. He promises to betroth us to Himself in righteousness, justice, favour, and compassion. Yet, instead of loving Him, we wander around seeking worldly blessings, looking only for what we can get from Him. In other words, if we only expect worldly blessings from Him, it means we do not truly love Him. If we continue like this, we will eventually die without ever truly knowing the Lord in our lives.

Therefore, dear ones, let us love the Lord sincerely and live our lives with true devotion to Him. For the one who does not love Him in this way does not know God.
