🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 6 : 7, 8 / Hebrews 6:7-8

 "ஆதவன்" தியானம் - 1950

2026 ஜூன் 10,  புதன்      

"எப்படியெனில், தன்மேல் அடிக்கடி பெய்கிற மழையைக் குடித்து, தன்னிடத்தில் பயிரிடுகிறவர்களுக்கேற்ற பயிரைமுளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமானது தேவனால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறும். முள்செடிகளையும் முள்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிற நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுகிறதற்கேற்றதாயுமிருக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதே அதன் முடிவு." ( எபிரெயர் 6 : 7, 8 )

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை மனிதர்களுக்குள் எப்படி இறங்கிச் செயல்படுகின்றது என்பதனை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் விளக்குகின்றது. தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் மனிதரில் செயல்படுவதை மழை, பனி, இவை பூமியில் பொழிவதற்கு  வேதம் ஒப்பிடுகின்றது. மனிதர்களது மனம்தான் நிலம். "மழையானது இளம்பயிரின்மேல் பொழிவதுபோல, என் உபதேசம் பொழியும்; பனித்துளிகள் புல்லின்மேல் இறங்குவதுபோல, என் வசனம் இறங்கும்." ( உபாகமம் 32 : 2 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

மழையும் பனியும் இடம்பார்த்து ஆள்பார்த்து பொழிவதில்லை. அனைவருக்கும் பொதுவாக, சமமாக அவை பூமியில் பொழிகின்றன. ஆனால் அவை பொழியும் இடத்துக்கேற்பவே அவை பலன் தரும்.  இப்படி அந்த நீரை உள்வாங்கி பயிரைமுளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமானது தேவனால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறும். முள்செடிகளையும் முள்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிற நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுகிறதற்கேற்றதாயுமிருக்கிறது என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் பல்வேறு சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் பல்வேறு மனிதர்கள்மூலம் நம்மை அடைகின்றன. நமது மனம் அந்த வசனங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் அளவுக்குத்தான் அவை நமக்கு ஆசீர்வாதத்தினைக் கொண்டுவரமுடியும். நமது மனமானது அந்த வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள மறுக்குமானால் அது தகாத நிலம்போல இருக்கும். ஆம், அந்த  நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுகிறதற்கேற்றதாயுமிருக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதே அதன் முடிவு என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

"மாரியும் உறைந்த மழையும் வானத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி, அவ்விடத்துக்குத் திரும்பாமல் பூமியை நனைத்து, அதில் முளை கிளம்பி விளையும்படிச்செய்து, விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும் புசிக்கிறவனுக்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் கொடுக்கிறது எப்படியோ, அப்படியே என் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படும் வசனமும் இருக்கும்; அது வெறுமையாய் என்னிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பாமல், அது நான் விரும்புகிறதைச்செய்து, நான் அதை அனுப்பின காரியமாகும்படி வாய்க்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 10, 11 ) என்று தேவன் நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூறுகின்றார். இந்த நம்பிக்கைக்கு எதிராக அவர் விரும்பாதபடி செய்து வெறுமையாய் அவரிடம் அந்த வார்த்தைகள் திரும்புமானால் அவர் நம்மை எப்படி ஆசீர்வதிக்கமுடிடியும்?

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "தன்மேல் அடிக்கடி பெய்கிற மழையைக் குடித்து" என்று கூறுவதன்படி தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் அடிக்கடி நம்மைச் சந்திக்கின்றன. அந்த வசனங்களை நாம் காதுகளினால் கேட்கின்றோம். ஆனால், செயல்பாட்டில் நாம் அவற்றின்படி செய்யவில்லையானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கப்படக்கூடியவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு, "அல்லாமலும், நீங்கள் உங்களை வஞ்சியாதபடிக்குத் திருவசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவர்களாய் மாத்திரமல்ல அதின்படி செய்கிறவர்களாயும் இருங்கள்." ( யாக்கோபு 1 : 22 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அப்படிச் செய்யும்போதுதான்  நாம் நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாய் முப்பது மடங்காகவும், அறுபது மடங்காகவும் நூறு மடங்காகவும் பலன்தரமுடியும்.

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளைச் சரியான முறையில்  ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள நமது மனமாகிய நிலங்களை பக்குவப்படுத்துவோம்.  பயிரிடுவதற்கு ஏற்ற நிலமாக அதனை மாற்றுவோம். தேவ ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறுவோம்.

"For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned." (Hebrews 6:7-8)

Today’s meditation verse explains how the Word of God descends and works within human beings. The Bible compares the working of God's Word in humans to rain and dew falling upon the earth. The human mind is the ground. We read in Scripture: "Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distil as the dew, As the droplets on the fresh grass..." (Deuteronomy 32:2).

Rain and dew do not choose their locations or partial to individuals; they fall upon the earth generally and equally for everyone. However, they yield results only according to the nature of the place where they fall. Thus, the ground that absorbs that water and brings forth vegetation receives a blessing from God. But it is written that the ground which yields thorns and thistles is worthless and close to being cursed.

Yes, dearly beloved, God's words reach us on various occasions and through various people. Those verses can bring us blessings only to the extent that our minds are willing to accept them. If our mind refuses to accept those words, it will be like the worthless ground. Yes, it is said that such ground is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.

God says with absolute confidence: "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11). If we act against this confidence, doing what He does not desire, and causing those words to return to Him empty, how can He bless us?

According to today's meditation verse, which says, "ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it," God's words visit us frequently. We hear those verses with our ears. But if we do not practice them in our actions, we will be in a pitiable state.

This is exactly what the Apostle James says: "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves." (James 1:22). Only when we do so will we be like those sown on the good soil, yielding fruit thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.

Let us prepare the soil of our minds to receive God's words in the right way. Let us transform it into a ground fit for cultivation. Let us receive God's blessing.
