🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 144 : 1 / Psalm 144:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1731                                          ஆதவன் 03.11.2025 திங்கள்          

என் கைகளைப் போருக்கும் என் விரல்களை யுத்தத்திற்கும் படிப்பிக்கிற என் கன்மலையாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம். ( சங்கீதம் 144 : 1 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் ஒரு போராட்ட வாழ்க்கையே வாழவேண்டியுள்ளது. உலக காரியத்திலும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையிலும் நமக்குப் போராட்டம் உண்டு. அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் இதனையே, "ஏனெனில், மாம்சத்தோடும் இரத்தத்தோடுமல்ல, துரைத்தனங்களோடும், அதிகாரங்களோடும், இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் அந்தகார லோகாதிபதிகளோடும், வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகளின் சேனைகளோடும் நமக்குப்   போராட்டம்    உண்டு." (எபேசியர் 6:12) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இந்தப் போராட்டத்தில் நாம் வெற்றிபெறுவதற்கு நமக்குத் தேவனது பலம் அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அதற்கான பல்வேறு போராட்டக் கருவிகளை தேவன் நமக்குத் தந்துள்ளார். "ஆகையால், தீங்குநாளிலே அவைகளை நீங்கள் எதிர்க்கவும், சகலத்தையும் செய்துமுடித்தவர்களாய் நிற்கவும் திராணியுள்ளவர்களாகும்படிக்கு, தேவனுடைய சர்வாயுதவர்க்கத்தையும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்."  (எபேசியர் 6:13) என அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். இதுகுறித்து, எபேசியர் 6:14 - 17 வரையிலான வசனங்களை வாசித்துத் தெளிவடைக.  

தேவனோடு நாம் ஐக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போமானால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தாவீது கூறுவதுபோல தேவனது இந்த சர்வாயுதங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போரிட நமது கைகளையும்  விரல்களையும்  யுத்தத்திற்கு அவர் பயிற்றுவிப்பார். அதாவது, இந்தப் போராட்டங்களில் நாம் வெற்றிபெறுவதற்கு நமக்கு உதவுவார்.  

தேவன் ஏன் எனக்குப் போராட்டத்துக்கான பயிற்சியைத் தருகிறார் என்றால், "அவர் என் தயாபரரும், என் கோட்டையும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவரும், என் கேடகமும், நான் நம்பினவரும், என் ஜனங்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( சங்கீதம் 144 : 2 ) என்கிறார் தாவீது. இந்த வசனத்தில் தாவீது, தேவனுக்குப் பல்வேறு அடைமொழிகளைக்கொடுத்து மகிழுகின்றார். தேவன் இப்படிப்பட்ட குணங்களுள்ளவராக இருப்பதால் அவர் எனது கைகளுக்குப் போரிடும் பயிற்சியை அளிக்கின்றார் என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆனால், கிறிஸ்தவ மக்களாகிய நமது இந்தப் போராட்டம் மற்ற மக்கள் போராடுவதுபோன்ற போராட்டமல்ல. இது தேவ கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்துகொண்டு  போராடும் போராட்டம். இன்றைய புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால மக்களாகிய நாம் தேவனது கிருபையினை முற்றிலும் சார்ந்துகொண்டு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம், உலகத்தின் எதிரிகளையும் ஆவிக்குரிய எதிரிகளையும் நம்மால்  நமது சுய முயற்சியால் வெற்றிகொள்ள முடியாது. எனவே, நமது சுய பலவீனத்தை தேவனிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு அவரது கிருபையினை நாம் சார்ந்து கொள்ளும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் வெற்றிபெறமுடியும். 

"என் கிருபை உனக்குப்போதும்; பலவீனத்திலே என் பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும்" ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 9 ) என்று  அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலிடம் தேவன் கூறவில்லையா? "ஆகையால், கிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமை என்மேல் தங்கும்படி, என் பலவீனங்களைக்குறித்து நான் மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாய் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவேன். " என்கிறார் பவுல். 

நாமும் நமது உலக வாழ்க்கையில் போராட்டங்கள் வரும்போது நமது பலவீனங்களை உணர்ந்து, தேவனது கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்துகொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் தாவீதைப்போல நம்மாலும் "என் கைகளைப் போருக்கும் என் விரல்களை யுத்தத்திற்கும் படிப்பிக்கிற என் கன்மலையாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்" என்று கூறமுடியும். காரணம், தேவனது கிருபையின் கரம் நம்மோடு இருந்து நமக்கு வெற்றியைத் தரும்.

 “Within the Seeds” 🌳

AATHAVAN – Monday, 03 November 2025

“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle.” — Psalm 144:1 (NASB)

In this world, we are destined to live a life of continual struggle. Whether in worldly matters or spiritual life, we face battles. The Apostle Paul explains this clearly:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6:12 (NASB)

To overcome these battles, we must rely on the strength that comes from God. He has provided us with all the spiritual armour we need for victory.

“Therefore, take up the full armour of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” — Ephesians 6:13 (NASB)

Paul further explains the components of this divine armour in Ephesians 6:14–17. Read and understand these verses carefully.

When we are united with God, He Himself will train our hands and fingers for battle, as David says in today’s key verse. That means God will equip and strengthen us to triumph in every conflict we face.

David goes on to say,

“My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my saviour, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.” — Psalm 144:2 (NASB)

In this verse, David ascribes many titles to God — acknowledging His lovingkindness, protection, and power. Because God possesses such attributes, David declares that the Lord trains his hands for war and prepares him for victory.

However, the battles we face as Christians are unlike the battles fought by the world. Ours are spiritual battles — fought depending upon the grace of God. As believers of the New Covenant, it is essential that we rely wholly on His grace.

For we cannot overcome the world’s enemies or spiritual forces through our own effort or strength. Only when we acknowledge our weakness before God and lean upon His grace can we truly be victorious.

Did not the Lord tell Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness”? — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NASB)

To this Paul responded, “Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NASB)

Likewise, when we face struggles in our daily lives, let us recognize our weaknesses and depend fully on the grace of God. Then we too can proclaim with David: “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle.” — Psalm 144:1 (NASB)

For the gracious hand of God will be with us — granting us strength and victory in every battle of life.
