 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1901

"நன்மைசெய்கிறதில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமாக; நாம் தளர்ந்துபோகாதிருந்தால் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் அறுப்போம்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 9 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவே தேவனால் படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். பலரும் நன்மை செய்வது என்பதை தர்மம் செய்வது என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால், நன்மை செய்வது என்பதும் தர்மம் செய்வது என்பதும் வெவ்வேறானவை. நன்மை செய்வது என்பது ஏதாவது நல்ல காரியங்களைச் செய்வது என்று பொருள்.  எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இவை இரண்டையும் பிரித்து, "அன்றியும் நன்மைசெய்யவும், தானதர்மம் பண்ணவும் மறவாதிருங்கள்; இப்படிப்பட்ட பலிகளின்மேல் தேவன் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 13 : 16 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தர்ம காரியங்கள் செய்யவேண்டியது முக்கியம்தான். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் அதனைக்குறித்துக் கூறாமல் நன்மை செய்வது குறித்துக் கூறுகின்றது. அதுவும், நம்மைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்ட மக்களுக்கு நமக்குக்  கிடைக்கும் நேரத்துக்கேற்றபடி நன்மை செய்யவேண்டும்  என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர்.  "ஆகையால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கும் சமயத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக, யாவருக்கும், விசேஷமாக விசுவாச குடும்பத்தார்களுக்கும், நன்மைசெய்யக்கடவோம்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 10 )

நாம் நமது குடும்பத்துக்காக மட்டுமல்ல, நமது ஊருக்காக, சமுதாயத்துக்காக, நண்பர்களுக்காக பல நல்ல செயல்களை செய்யலாம். குடும்பத்துக்காகச் செய்யும் செயல்களை நாம் வெளியில் சொல்வதில்லை. ஆனால் மற்றவர்களுக்கும், பொதுநலனுக்கும் செய்யும் நன்மைகளைப் பலரும் விளம்பரப்படுத்தவே விரும்புகின்றனர். 

ஆனால் நாம் நன்மை செய்யவேண்டும் என்பது ஏற்கெனவே தேவனால் திட்டமிடப்பட்டது. "ஏனெனில், நற்கிரியைகளைச் செய்கிறதற்கு நாம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டு, தேவனுடைய செய்கையாயிருக்கிறோம்; அவைகளில் நாம் நடக்கும்படி அவர் முன்னதாக அவைகளை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணியிருக்கிறார்." ( எபேசியர் 2 :10) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். அதாவது, நாம் நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவே படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். அது தேவனால் நமக்காக முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டது. எனவே, அப்படி நன்மை  செய்யாமல் இருப்போமானால் தவறு. 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நன்மை செய்பவராகவே இந்த உலகத்தில் சுற்றித்திரிந்தார் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. "நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவை தேவன் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலும் வல்லமையினாலும் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினார்; தேவன் அவருடனேகூட இருந்தபடியினாலே அவர் நன்மைசெய்கிறவராயும் பிசாசின் வல்லமையில் அகப்பட்ட யாவரையும் குணமாக்குகிறவராயும் சுற்றித்திரிந்தார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 10 : 38 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

மேற்படி வசனத்தில் இரண்டு காரியங்கள் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதாவது, தேவன் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணியிருந்தார்; தேவன் அவருடன் கூட இருந்தார்.  நம்மிலும் ஆவியின் அபிஷேகம் இருந்து தேவன் நம்மோடு இருப்பாரானால் நாமும் உண்மையாகவே நன்மை செய்கிறவர்களாகவும் செய்கின்ற நற்செயல்களை பிறருக்கு விளம்பரப்படுத்தாதவர்களாகவும்  இருப்போம். 

இறுதியாக,  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, நன்மை செய்வதில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமல் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் அறுப்போம் என்று. அதாவது, நாம் கைம்மாறு கருதாமல் செய்யும் நல்ல செயல்கள் ஏற்ற  காலத்தில் நமக்கு நன்மையாக முடியும். சிலர் எப்போதும், "நான் உதவின ஆட்களுக்குக் கணக்கே இல்லை.  நான் எவ்வளவோ பேருக்கு உதவியிருக்கிறேன், எவ்வளவோ நல்ல செயல்கள் செய்துள்ளேன், ஆனால் ஒரு நன்மையும் எனக்கு ஏற்படவில்லை" என்று முறுமுறுப்பார்கள். இப்படிக் கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்கள் உண்மையான உள்ளத்துடன் பிறருக்கு உதவி செய்யவில்லை என்பது பொருள். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, பிற்காலத்தில் நமக்குப் பிரதிபலனாக  நன்மை  ஏற்படும் எனும் எதிர்பார்ப்பில்லாமல் நல்லது செய்து அந்த  நல்ல செயல்களை விளம்பரப்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதுவும் நம்மைப்போல விசுவாச குடும்பத்தினருக்கு நாம் அதிகமாக நன்மை செய்யவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். இப்படி  நாம் நன்மை செய்வதில்  சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமானால் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் நமக்கான பிரதிபலனைப் பெறுவோம்.

"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary." (Galatians 6:9)

We were created by God in this world specifically to do good. Many people mistake "doing good" solely for "charity" or "almsgiving." However, doing good and giving alms are distinct concepts. Doing good refers to performing any virtuous or beneficial act. This is why the Apostle Paul distinguishes between the two:

"And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." (Hebrews 13:16)

While charitable works are important, today’s meditation verse focuses on the act of doing good. Specifically, Apostle Paul encourages us to do good to others, especially to those who share our faith in Christ, whenever the opportunity arises:

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." (Galatians 6:10)

We can perform many good deeds—not just for our families, but for our towns, society, and friends. We rarely broadcast the things we do for our own families; yet, when it comes to helping others or the public, many people desire advertisement and recognition.

The mandate to do good was planned by God long ago. We read:

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

In other words, we were created for the very purpose of doing good. It was predestined for us by God. Therefore, it is a failure on our part if we neglect to do so.

We read, our Lord Jesus Christ went about doing good:

"You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." (Acts 10:38)

Two vital things are mentioned in this verse: God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit, and God was with Him. If the anointing of the Spirit is upon us and God is with us, we too will truly do good works without seeking to advertise them to others.

Finally, today’s meditation reminds us that if we do not grow weary in doing good, we will reap in due season. This means that the good we do without expecting anything in return will result in a blessing at the right time.

Some people grumble, saying, "I have helped countless people and done so much good, yet no good has come back to me." Such complaints often suggest that the help was not rendered with a truly sincere heart.

Dearly beloved, it is essential to do good without the expectation of a future reward and without seeking publicity. It is especially vital to do good to our brothers and sisters in the household of faith. If we do not lose heart in doing good, we will receive our reward in due time.
