 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1903

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 24, வெள்ளி     

"தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவன் உண்டோ என்று பார்க்க, கர்த்தர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுபுத்திரரைக் கண்ணோக்கினார்." ( சங்கீதம் 14 : 2 )

தேவனைத் தேடுகிற இருதயம் மனிதர்களுக்குத் தேவை. இந்தத் தேடுதல் உணர்வுதான் ஒருவரை உண்மையை அறிந்திட உதவும்; மெய்யான தேவனை வாழ்வில் கண்டுகொள்ள முடியும்.  இத்தகைய உணர்வுடன் தன்னைத் தேடும் மனிதர்கள் உலகினில் இருக்கிறார்களா என்று அறிய தேவன் மனிதர்களை நோக்கிப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்று பலரும் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கவும்,ஜெபிக்கவும், தியானிக்கவும் தங்களுக்கு போதிய நேரமில்லை எனவும்  அதிக வேலைப்பளு இருக்கின்றது என்றும்  சாக்குப்போக்குச் சொல்வதுண்டு. அதாவது,  அவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுப்பதைவிட தங்களது உலக வேலைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுப்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். இப்படியல்லாமல் தனது வேலைகளுக்கிடையே தேவனைத் தேடிய ஒரு மனிதனைக்குறித்து நாம் அப்போஸ்தலர் பணி புத்தகத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம்.  

"எத்தியோப்பியருடைய ராஜஸ்திரீயாகிய கந்தாகே என்பவளுக்கு மந்திரியும் அவளுடைய பொக்கிஷமெல்லாவற்றிற்கும் தலைவனுமாயிருந்த எத்தியோப்பியனாகிய ஒருவன் பணிந்துகொள்ளும்படி எருசலேமுக்கு வந்திருந்து; ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகும்போது, தன் இரதத்திலே உட்கார்ந்து, ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியின் ஆகமத்தை வாசித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்." (அப்போஸ்தலர் பணி - 8: 27, 28) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அதாவது, இந்த மனிதன் எத்தியோப்பியாவின் நிதியமைச்சர். அவன் தனது நிதியமைச்சர் வேலைகளுக்கிடையே தேவனுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து, அவரை ஆராதிப்பதற்காக எருசலேமுக்கு வந்திருக்கிறான். மட்டுமல்ல, ஊருக்குத் திரும்பிச் செல்லும்போதுகூட அவன் தனது வேலையைப்பற்றியோ இதர காரியங்களைக்குறித்தோ சிந்திக்காமலும், வேறு உலக காரியங்களில் பொழுதைப் போகாமலும்  வேதாகம ஆகமங்களை வாசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான். காரணம், அவனுக்குள் தேவனைத் தேடும் ஆவல் அதிகமாக இருந்தது. 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து,  "கேட்கிறவன்   எவனும்  பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; தேடுகிறவன் கண்டடைகிறான்; தட்டுகிறவனுக்குத் திறக்கப்படும்." (மத்தேயு 7;8) என்று கூறிய வார்த்தைகளுக்கேற்ப, இப்படி ஆர்வமுடன் தேவனைத் தேடிய அந்த நிதியமைச்சருக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தத்  தேவன் சித்தமானார்; அதுவரை யாரென்று அறியாமல் அவன் வெறுமனே ஆராதித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த தேவன் யார் என்பதை அவனுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தத் தேவன் சித்தமானார். எனவே பிலிப்புவை அவனிடம் அனுப்புகின்றார்.  

இங்கு அந்த நிதியமைச்சரின் இன்னொரு குணத்தை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். ஒரு அமைச்சர் சாதாரண மனிதனை தனக்கு நிகராக நடத்துவது கிடையாது. ஆனால் இந்த நிதியமைச்சரோ, பிலிப்புவைத் தன்னுடன் தனது இரதத்தில் ஏற்றிக்கொள்கிறான். அப்போது அமைச்சர் ஏசாயா புத்தகத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைவின் பாடுகள் குறித்த தீர்க்கத்தரிசன பகுதியினை  வாசித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.  பிலிப்பு அவருக்கு அவற்றை விளக்கி இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்துப் பிரசங்கித்தார். அதனால் மனமாற்றமடைந்து கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொண்ட அவனுக்குப் பிலிப்பு உடன்தானே ஞானஸ்நானமும் கொடுக்கின்றார்.  

ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்று "அவர்கள் தண்ணீரிலிருந்து கரையேறினபொழுது, கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் பிலிப்பைக் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டார். மந்திரி அப்புறம் அவனைக் காணாமல், சந்தோஷத்தோடே தன் வழியே போனான்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 8 : 39 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.  இந்த அதிசய நிகழ்ச்சியால் அமைச்சர் முழு விசுவாசமுள்ளவராக மாறியிருப்பார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எவ்வளவு வேலைப்பளு நமக்கு இருந்தாலும் தேவனுக்காக நேரம் ஒதுக்கவும், தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கவும் நேரமில்லை என்று கூறாமல் தேவனுக்கு முதலிடம் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய, தேவனைத் தேடுகிற எண்ணம் நமக்கு இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். மட்டுமல்ல, அந்த அமைச்சர் தனது பதவி பெருமையை  விட்டு சாதாரண மனிதனாகிய பிலிப்பை மதித்ததுபோல மற்றவர்களை மதிக்கக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். 

இப்படி நாம் தேவனைத் தேடுகிற உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்து நம்மோடு வாழும் மற்றவர்களையும் மதிப்போமானால்  தேவன் தன்னை நமக்கு அதிசயமான முறையில் வெளிப்படுத்துவார். அப்போதுதான்  நாம் பாரம்பரிய வெற்று ஆராதனைமுறைகளிலிருந்து  மாறி தேவனை அறிந்து ஆராதிக்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக மாறமுடியும்.

"The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God." (Psalm 14:2)

A heart that seeks God is a fundamental need for every human being. This desire to seek Him is what helps a person know the truth and discover the true God in their life. In today's meditation verse, we read that God is looking down to see if there are people in this world who seek Him with such discernment.

Today, many people make excuses—claiming they lack sufficient time to read the Bible, pray, or meditate because of their heavy workloads. In other words, they prioritize their worldly responsibilities over God. In contrast to this attitude, we read in the book of Acts about a man who sought God in the midst of his professional duties.

"And he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship, and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah." (Acts 8:27-28)

This man was the Finance Minister of Ethiopia. Despite his high-ranking responsibilities, he gave priority to God and travelled all the way to Jerusalem to worship. Furthermore, even on his return journey, he did not dwell on his work or other affairs, nor did he waste time on worldly diversions; instead, he was reading the Scriptures. The reason was that he possessed an intense longing to seek God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to whom it knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:8). In accordance with these words, God was willing to reveal Himself to this minister who sought Him so fervently. God intended to reveal exactly who He was—the God whom the minister had been worshipping without fully knowing. Therefore, He sent Philip to him.

Here, we see another quality of this official. Usually, a high-ranking minister might not treat an ordinary person as an equal. However, this minister invited Philip to sit with him in his chariot. At that moment, he was reading a prophetic passage from the book of Isaiah regarding the sufferings of Jesus Christ. Philip explained the scriptures and preached Jesus to him. Having experienced a change of heart and coming to know Christ, the minister was immediately baptized by Philip.

"When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing." (Acts 8:39)

Following this miraculous event, the minister would have been transformed into a man of complete faith.

Dear friends, no matter how heavy our workload may be, we must not say we have no time for God or His Word. It is essential that we give God first place and have a heart that seeks Him. Moreover, just as that official set aside his status to respect Philip, we must also learn to value and respect others.

If we live with such a discerning heart to seek God and respect those around us, God will reveal Himself to us in wonderful ways. Only then can we move beyond empty, traditional forms of worship and become spiritual Christians who truly know and worship God.
