📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1907

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 28, செவ்வாய்         

"அவர் இடதுகை என் தலையின்கீழ் இருக்கிறது; அவர் வலதுகை என்னை அணைத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறது." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2 : 6 )

தேவனுக்கும் மனிதர்களுக்குமான அன்புறவு தாய் பிள்ளைகளுக்குள்ள உறவுபோலவும் உண்மையான காதலன் காதலிக்கிடையேயுள்ள உறவுபோலவும் கணவன் மனைவி உறவுபோலவும் ( எபேசியர் 5 : 31, 32 ) இருக்க வேண்டுமென்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது.   

தேவனுக்கும் நமக்குமான உறவு வெறும் உலகத் தேவைகளை நிறைவேற்றிக்கொள்ளும் ஆர்வத்தில் உண்டாகும் உறவாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. மாறாக, நாம் முழுமையாக தேவனை அவருக்காகவே அன்பு செய்பவர்களாக மாறும் உறவாகவேண்டும்.  நாம் ஜெபிப்பது கிடைக்கின்றதா இல்லையா என்பது முக்கியமல்ல, மாறாக அவரோடு நமக்குள்ள ஐக்கியத்தை  நாம் இழக்காமல் இருப்பதே முக்கியம்.

தேவனை மணமகனாக எண்ணி அவரது அன்பை நினைத்து மணப்பெண் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளே உன்னதப்பாட்டின் இன்றைய வெளிப்பாடு. தேவன் நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் அன்புசெய்கின்றார். நாம் அவரோடு எப்போதும் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்படுகின்றார். நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இதற்காகவே பிதாவிடம் ஜெபிப்பதை நாம் பார்க்கலாம். பிதாவாகிய தேவனும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இணைந்திருப்பதுபோல நாமும் அவர்களோடு இணைந்து இருக்க அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். "நாம் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களும் ஒன்றாயிருக்கும்படி, நீர் எனக்குத் தந்த மகிமையை நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்." ( யோவான் 17 : 22 ) என்றே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஜெபித்தார்.

இந்த அன்பினால்  ஒரு தாய்போல அவர் நம்மைத் தேற்றுகின்றார். இதனையே ஏசாயா, "ஒருவனை அவன் தாய் தேற்றுவதுபோல் நான் உங்களைத் தேற்றுவேன்." ( ஏசாயா 66 : 13 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இந்தத் தேற்றுதலைத்தான் கூறுகின்றது. சிறு குழந்தைகளைத் தாயானவள் இடதுகையில் அதன் தலை இருக்கும்படி வைத்துக்கொண்டு வலது கரத்தினால் குழந்தையைத்  தேற்றுவாள். இதுபோலவே "அவர் இடதுகை என் தலையின்கீழ் இருக்கிறது; அவர் வலதுகை என்னை அணைத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறது." என்கின்றான் தேவ பக்தன். 

நாம் உலகத் தேவைகளுக்காக மட்டுமே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டு இருப்போமானால் இத்தகைய மேலான தேவ அன்பின் அரவணைப்பினை நாம் ருசிக்கமுடியாது. வாழ்வின் கடினமான பாதையில் பயணித்தபோது தேவன் என்னைத் தேற்றி ஆறுதலடையச்செய்ய பெரும்பாலும் உன்னதப்பாட்டின் வார்த்தைகளையே பயன்படுத்தினார். 

நான் தேவனை அறிந்த  ஆரம்பக்காலத்தில் உன்னதப்பாட்டு புத்தகத்தை வாசிக்கமாட்டேன். இது வேதத்தில் தேவையில்லாமல் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று கூறுவேன். எனது வேதாகமத்தில்கூட, உன்னதப்பாட்டு நூலின் ஆரம்பத்தில் "இது வெறும் யூத இலக்கியம்" என்று எழுதி வைத்திருந்தேன். ஆனால், தேவன் பல முறை கனவுகள் மூலமும்  வசனங்கள்மூலமும்  இந்த நூலிலிருந்து என்னோடு பேசி என்னைத் திடப்படுத்தினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் நம்மை அதிகம் நேசிப்பதால் அதனை நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ள இந்தப் புத்தகம் வேதாகமத்தில் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

தேவனை நாம் உண்மையாக நேசிப்போமென்றால் "அவர் இடதுகை என் தலையின்கீழ் இருக்கிறது; அவர் வலதுகை என்னை அணைத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறது" எனும் வசனம் நமது வாழ்வில் உண்மையாக நடப்பதை நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளமுடியும். தேவனது இந்த அன்பு நம்மோடு நாம் குழந்தைகளாய் இருப்பதுமுதல் வயது முதிர்ந்து நாம் நரைமுடி உள்ளவர்களாய் மாறும்வரை இருக்கும். அதுவரை நம்மை அவர் குழந்தைகளாகவே அணைத்துக்கொள்வார். 

"யாக்கோபின் சந்ததியாரே இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியில் மீதியாகிய சகல ஜனங்களே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; தாயின் வயிற்றில் தோன்றினதுமுதல் உங்களை ஏந்தி, தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் உற்பத்தியானதுமுதல் உங்களைத் தாங்கினேன். உங்கள் முதிர்வயதுவரைக்கும் நான் அப்படிச் செய்வேன்; நரைவயதுமட்டும் நான் உங்களைத் தாங்குவேன்; நான் அப்படிச் செய்து வந்தேன்; இனிமேலும் நான் ஏந்துவேன், நான் சுமப்பேன், தப்புவிப்பேன்." ( ஏசாயா 46 : 3, 4 ) என்கின்றார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

"யாக்கோபின் சந்ததியாரே இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியில் மீதியாகிய சகல ஜனங்களே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்" என்று அவர் கூறுவதன்படி தேவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும் வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமென்றால் சிறு குழந்தைகளைத் தாயானவள் பராமரிப்பதுபோல அவர் நம்மைப் பராமரித்து நடத்துவார். அப்போது அவர் இடதுகை நம் தலையின்கீழ் இருக்கும்; அவர் வலதுகை நம்மை அணைத்துக்கொள்ளும்.

"Let his left hand be under my head and his right hand embrace me." (Song of Solomon 2:6)

The Bible teaches that the relationship between God and humanity should be like the bond between a mother and her children, the love between true lovers, and the union of a husband and wife (Ephesians 5:31, 32).

Our relationship with God should not be born out of a mere desire to fulfil worldly needs. Instead, it must transform into a bond where we love God entirely for who He is. It is not about whether our prayers are answered; what matters most is that we do not lose our fellowship with Him.

Today’s revelation from the Song of Solomon features the words of a bride reflecting on the love of her Bridegroom. God loves each of us and longs for us to be with Him always. We see our Lord Jesus Christ praying to the Father for this very purpose. Just as the Father and the Son are one, He desires us to be one with them. Jesus prayed:

"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one." (John 17:22)

In this love, He comforts us like a mother. Isaiah records this: "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you" (Isaiah 66:13). Today’s meditation verse illustrates this comfort. Just as a mother rests a small child's head on her left arm and comforts the child with her right hand, the devotee says, "Let his left hand be under my head and his right hand embrace me."

If we only pray for worldly necessities, we cannot taste the embrace of this superior divine love. When I travelled through the difficult paths of life, God often used the words of the Song of Solomon to comfort me and grant me peace.

In the early days of my walk with God, I would not read the Song of Solomon. I used to say it was included in the Bible unnecessarily. In my own Bible, I had even written at the beginning of the book, "This is merely Jewish literature." However, God spoke to me many times through dreams and verses from this very book to strengthen me. Yes, dear ones, because God loves us so much, this book is included in the Bible to help us understand that love.

If we truly love God, we will realize the reality of the verse, "His left hand is under my head and his right hand embraces me," in our own lives. This love of God remains with us from the time we are infants until we grow old and our hair turns gray. Until then, He will embrace us as His children.

The Lord God says:

"Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been borne by Me from birth and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you." (Isaiah 46:3, 4)

As He says, "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob," if we live a life that listens to God, He will care for and lead us just as a mother tends to her little children. Then, His left hand will be under our head, and His right hand will embrace us.
