📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1891

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 12, ஞாயிறு          

"இனிச்சூரியன் உனக்குப் பகலிலே வெளிச்சமாயிராமலும், சந்திரன் தன் வெளிச்சத்தால் உனக்குப் பிரகாசியாமலும், கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமும், உன் தேவனே உனக்கு மகிமையுமாயிருப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 19 )

ஆதியாகமம் புத்தகத்தினை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது, துவக்கத்தில் பூமி ஒழுங்கற்று இருளாக இருந்தது என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதைக் காண்கின்றோம். ஆம்,  "பூமியானது ஒழுங்கின்மையும் வெறுமையுமாய் இருந்தது; ஆழத்தின்மேல் இருள் இருந்தது; தேவ ஆவியானவர் ஜலத்தின்மேல் அசைவாடிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 1 : 2 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அப்போது, "தேவன் வெளிச்சம் உண்டாகக்கடவது என்றார். வெளிச்சம் உண்டாயிற்று." ( ஆதியாகமம் 1 : 3 )  ஆனால், நான்காவது நாளில்தான் சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் தேவன் படைக்கின்றார். வேதாகமத்தை விமரிசிக்கும் நாத்திகர்கள் பலர் இந்த முரண்பாட்டினை அடிக்கடிச் சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதுண்டு. சூரியன் இல்லாமல் எப்படி முதல்நாளில் ஒளி உண்டாயிற்று என்று இவர்கள் கேள்வி எழுப்புவதுண்டு. 

அன்பானவர்களே, பூமிக்கு ஒளிகொடுக்கத் தேவனுக்கு சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் தேவையில்லை. தேவனே ஒளியாக இருக்கின்றார். "தேவன் ஒளியாயிருக்கிறார், அவரில் எவ்வளவேனும் இருளில்லை; இது நாங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டு உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிற விசேஷமாயிருக்கிறது." ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 5 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். தேவனே ஒளியாக இருப்பதால் முதலில் அவர் சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் படைக்கவில்லை. எனவே,  நான்காவது நாளில் தான் "தேவன், பகலை ஆளப் பெரிய சுடரும், இரவை ஆளச் சிறிய சுடரும் ஆகிய இரண்டு மகத்தான சுடர்களையும், நட்சத்திரங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 1 : 16 ) அதுவரை தேவனது ஒளியே பூமியில் ஒளிர்ந்தது. 

சூரியன் இல்லாமலே தேவன் பூமிக்கு ஒளி கொடுக்க முடியும். ஆனால் அவர் சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் காலங்களையும் நாட்களையும் வருஷங்களையும் குறிக்கிறதற்காக உண்டாக்கினார் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.  "பின்பு தேவன்: பகலுக்கும் இரவுக்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டாகத்தக்கதாக வானம் என்கிற ஆகாயவிரிவிலே சுடர்கள் உண்டாகக்கடவது, அவைகள் அடையாளங்களுக்காகவும், காலங்களையும் நாட்களையும் வருஷங்களையும் குறிக்கிறதற்காகவும் இருக்கக்கடவது என்றார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 1 : 14 )

இதுபோல, நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்கள் ஆகும்போது நாம் தேவனின் முழுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் வந்துவிடுகின்றோம். அப்போது அவரே நமக்கு ஒளியாக இருப்பார். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "இனிச்சூரியன் உனக்குப் பகலிலே வெளிச்சமாயிராமலும், சந்திரன் தன் வெளிச்சத்தால் உனக்குப் பிரகாசியாமலும், கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமும், உன் தேவனே உனக்கு மகிமையுமாயிருப்பார்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "நான் உலகத்திலிருக்கையில் உலகத்திற்கு ஒளியாயிருக்கிறேன்" ( யோவான் 9 : 5 ) என்று கூறினாரே.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்கு மற்ற உலக மக்களைப்போல சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் ஒளி தருவதைவிட ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மேல் ஒளிவீசுவதே மேன்மை. கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே நமக்கு நித்திய ஒளியாக இருக்கும்போது நாம் இருளில் நடக்கமாட்டோம். 

இதனையே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து "நான் உலகத்திற்கு ஒளியாயிருக்கிறேன், என்னைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவன் இருளிலே நடவாமல் ஜீவஒளியை அடைந்திருப்பான் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 8 : 12 ) சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் குறிப்பிட்ட நேரத்தில் மறையும்; பூமியில் இருள் சூழும்.  ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளி நம்மைவிட்டு எந்நேரமும்  மறைவதில்லை. அவரையே பற்றிக்கொள்வோம்; நித்திய ஒளியில் எந்நேரமும் தொடர்ந்து நடப்போம்.

"No longer will you have the sun for light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give you light; but you will have the Lord for an everlasting light, and your God for your glory." (Isaiah 60:19)

When we read the Book of Genesis, we see that in the beginning, the earth was formless and dark. It is written: "The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters" (Genesis 1:2).

At that moment, "God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light" (Genesis 1:3). However, God did not create the sun and the moon until the fourth day. Many atheists who criticize the Bible often point to this as a contradiction, asking, "How could there be light on the first day without the sun?"

Beloved, God does not need the sun or the moon to provide light to the earth. God Himself is Light. We read in the scriptures: "This is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5). Because God Himself is the source of light, He did not create the sun and moon first. It was only on the fourth day that "God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also" (Genesis 1:16). Until then, it was God’s own light that shone upon the earth.

While God can enlighten the world without the sun, He created the sun and moon specifically to mark seasons, days, and years. Scripture says: "Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years'" (Genesis 1:14).

In the same way, when we become acceptable to God, we come under His complete sovereign care. Then, He Himself becomes our light. This is exactly what today’s meditation verse promises: "No longer will you have the sun for light by day... but you will have the Lord for an everlasting light."

Our Lord Jesus Christ also declared, "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world" (John 9:5). Yes, dear friends, it is far more glorious to have the Lord Jesus Christ shine upon us than to rely on the sun and moon like the rest of the world. When the Lord Jesus is our eternal light, we will never walk in darkness.

Jesus reaffirmed this, saying: "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life" (John 8:12). The sun and moon set at specific times, and darkness engulfs the earth. But the light of the Lord Jesus Christ never fades from us. Let us hold fast to Him and walk continually in His eternal light.
