 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1893

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 14, செவ்வாய்    

"என் ஜனங்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகுகிற மாறுபாட்டைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களை உன்னதமானவரிடத்தில்     வரவழைத்தாலும் ஒருவனும் எழும்புகிறதில்லை." ( ஓசியா 11 : 7 )

தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நேசித்ததாலும் ஆபிரகாமுக்கு அளித்த வாக்குறுதியை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்காகவும்  அவர்களை எகிப்தின் பார்வோனின் கையிலிருந்து விடுவித்து பாலும் தேனும் வழியும் கானானுக்கு வழிநடத்தினார். இதனை, "இஸ்ரவேல் இளைஞனாயிருந்தபோது நான் அவனை நேசித்தேன்; எகிப்திலிருந்து என்னுடைய குமாரனை வரவழைத்தேன்." ( ஓசியா 11 : 1 ) என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்துக்குமுன் ஓசியா மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார். இந்த வசனம் மத்தேயு 2:15 இல் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்குப் பொருத்திக்காட்டப்படுகின்றது. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்துக்கு முன்பு நாம் வாசிப்போமானால், தேவன் மேலும் வேதனையுடன் கூறுகின்றார், "மனுஷரைக் கட்டி இழுக்கிற அன்பின் கயிறுகளால் நான் அவர்களை இழுத்தேன், அவர்கள் கழுத்துகளின்மேல் இருந்த நுகத்தடியை எடுத்துப் போடுகிறவரைப்போல் இருந்து, அவர்கள் பட்சம் சாய்ந்து, அவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரங்கொடுத்தேன்" ( ஓசியா 11 : 4 ) என்று. 

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றும் மனிதர்கள் நாம் பலவேளைகளில் இஸ்ரவேலர் இருந்த இதே மனநிலையுடன்தான் இருக்கின்றோம். தேவன் நமக்குச் செய்த உதவிகளையும் அவர் நமக்குக் காண்பித்துவரும் அன்பினையும் மறந்தவர்களாக வாழ்கின்றோம். எனவே, தேவன் இப்போதும் வேதனையுடன்தான் இதே வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறுகின்றார்,  "ஆனாலும், என் ஜனங்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகுகிற மாறுபாட்டைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களை உன்னதமானவரிடத்தில் வரவழைத்தாலும் ஒருவனும் எழும்புகிறதில்லை" என்று. 

நாம் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று நம்மைக் கூறிக்கொள்வதாலும் ஆலயங்களுக்குச் சென்று வழிபாடுகளில் கலந்து கொள்வதாலும் தேவன் நம்மைக்குறித்து மகிழ்ச்சியடைய மாட்டார். மாறுபாடான மனநிலை நம்மை விட்டு அகலவேண்டும்.  நமது மனம் உன்னதமான தேவனுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பப்படவேண்டும். அவரை மட்டுமே பற்றிக்கொண்டு வாழ்பவர்களாக நாம் மாறவேண்டும். இதனையே அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "அவர்களை உன்னதமானவரிடத்தில்  வரவழைத்தாலும் ஒருவனும் எழும்புகிறதில்லை" என்று வேதனையுடன் கூறுகின்றது. ஆம், அவரது அழைப்பின் குரலை மக்கள் கேட்பதில்லை என்பதே இதன் பொருள். 

பெரும்பாலும் நாம் நமது உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவே தேவனிடம் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டும் அவரை ஆராதித்துக்கொண்டும் இருக்கின்றோம். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அன்றும் இப்படித்தான் இருந்தார்கள். எத்தனையோ அதிசயங்களையும் விடுதலையையும் தேவன் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருந்தும் அவர்கள் இருதயம் தேவனுக்கு நேராகத் திரும்பவில்லை.  அப்பத்துக்காகவும் இறைச்சிக்காகவும் மட்டுமே ஆசைப்பட்டார்கள். எனவே "பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: இந்த ஜனங்களைப் பார்த்தேன்; இவர்கள் வணங்காக்கழுத்துள்ள ஜனங்கள்" ( யாத்திராகமம் 32 : 9 மற்றும் உபாகமம் 9:13 ) என்று கூறுவதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நமது மனநிலையினை மாற்றிக்கொள்வோம். உலக ஆசை, தேவைகளுக்காக ஆசைப்பட்டு ஜெபித்து தேவனை விட்டு விலகிடும் நமது மனத்தைவிட்டு முற்றிலும் அவரைச் சார்ந்துகொள்வோம். ஆம், "அகங்காரிகளையும் பொய்யைச் சார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்களையும் நோக்காமல், கர்த்தரையே தன் நம்பிக்கையாக வைக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்." ( சங்கீதம் 40 : 4 )

"My people are bent on turning from Me. Though they call them to the One on high, none at all exalts Him." (Hosea 11:7)

Because God loved the people of Israel and desired to fulfil the promise He made to Abraham, He delivered them from the hand of Pharaoh in Egypt and led them toward Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. Regarding this, God speaks through Hosea earlier in this chapter: "When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son" (Hosea 11:1). This particular verse is later applied to the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 2:15.

If we read the verses leading up to today's meditation, we see God expressing His deep sorrow: "I led them with cords of a man, with bonds of love, and I became to them as one who lifts the yoke from their jaws; and I bent down and fed them" (Hosea 11:4).

Beloved, even today, we often find ourselves in the same state of mind as the Israelites. We live having forgotten the help God has rendered and the love He continually shows us. Therefore, God still speaks these words with grief: "My people are bent on turning from Me. Though they call them to the One on high, none at all exalts Him."

God is not pleased with us simply because we call ourselves Christians or attend church services. A "bent" or wayward mindset must depart from us. Our hearts must be turned toward the Most High God. He desires for us to become people who cling to Him alone. Today's verse says with pain, "Though they call them to the One on high, none at all exalts Him." Indeed, this means that people are not listening to the voice of His calling.

Most often, we pray and worship God only for our worldly blessings. The people of Israel were exactly like this. Despite the many miracles and the deliverance God provided, their hearts did not turn toward Him. They craved only bread and meat. Consequently, we read: "The Lord said to Moses, 'I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people'" (Exodus 32:9 and Deuteronomy 9:13).

Therefore, dear friends, let us change our mindset. Let us abandon the heart that drifts away from God by lusting after worldly desires and needs, and instead, let us depend entirely on Him.

"How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood." (Psalm 40:4)
