📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1906

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 27, திங்கள்        

"என் ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் நன்மையும் கிருபையும் என்னைத் தொடரும்; நான் கர்த்தருடைய வீட்டிலே நீடித்த நாட்களாய் நிலைத்திருப்பேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 23 : 6 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் உலக ஆசீர்வாதம் மற்றும் மறுவுலக நித்திய ஜீவன் எனும்  இரண்டுவித ஆசீர்வாதங்களை தேவன் எனக்குத் தருவார் என்று பக்தன் உறுதியுடன் விசுவாசத்துடன் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளாகும்.

இந்த உலகத்தில் எத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் நாம் வாழ்கின்றோமோ அத்தனை ஆண்டுகளும் தேவனது நன்மையையும் கிருபையும் நம்மோடு இருக்கவேண்டும் அதுவே மேலான உலக ஆசீர்வாதம். இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தாவீது ராஜா இந்த இரண்டுவித ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் தான் கர்த்தரை மேய்ப்பனாகக் கொண்டு வாழ்வதால் நான் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.   

ஆடுகளை மேய்ச்சலுக்குக் கொண்டுசெல்லும் இடையர்களைக் கவனித்தால் அவர்கள் ஆடுகள் செய்யவேண்டிய ஒவ்வொரு செயலுக்கும் வித்தியாசமான கட்டளை ஒலிகளை எழுப்புவதை நாம் காணலாம். ஆடுகள் அந்த ஒலியின் அர்த்ததைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அவற்றுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடந்துகொள்ளும். எங்குச்  செல்லவேண்டும், எங்குச்  செல்லக்கூடாது, இந்தப்பகுதியில் திரும்பவேண்டும் என அனைத்தையும் மேய்ப்பன் பல்வேறு குரல்களால் அவைகளுக்கு உணர்த்துவான். ஆம், மேய்ப்பனின் குரலின் பொருள் அந்த ஆடுகளுக்குத் தெரிந்திருப்பதால் அவை அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடந்துகொள்ளும்.  

கர்த்தரை மேய்ப்பனாகக் கொள்வது என்பதும் இதுபோன்றதுதான்.  அது மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவம். மேய்ப்பன் ஆடுகளை வழிநடத்துவதுபோல ஆவிக்குரிய தேவ பிள்ளைகளின் வாழ்வை தேவன் வழிநடத்துகின்றார். அவர் பல்வேறு விதங்களில் தனது சித்தத்தை அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். அவர்களும் தேவனது சித்தத்தைப் புரிந்துகொண்டவர்களாக அதன்படி நடப்பார்கள்.  இப்படி நடக்கும்போது நன்மையும் கிருபையும் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் அவர்களைத் தொடரும். 

மட்டுமல்ல, தேவன் மற்றவர்களிலிருந்து வித்தியாசமான முறையில் தனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்துவாழும் பிள்ளைகளை நடத்துகின்றார். அவர்களால் எனவே மற்றவர்கள் செய்யும் பல செயல்களைச் செய்யமுடிவதில்லை. இதனால் சிலவேளைகளில் மற்றவர்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய பிள்ளைகளை குறைகூறுவதுண்டு. இது இப்போது மட்டுமல்ல; பல ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன்பே இப்படித்தான் தேவ பிள்ளைகள் மற்றவர்களால் குறைகூறப்படுகின்றனர். 

துஷ்டனான ஆமான் யூதர்களுக்கு எதிராக எழும்பி அவர்களை பூமியிலிருந்து அழித்து ஒழிக்க வகைதேடினான். அவன் அகாஸ்வேரு ராஜாவிடம் இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டையே கூறினான். "அப்பொழுது ஆமான் அகாஸ்வேரு ராஜாவை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் சகல நாடுகளிலுமுள்ள ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒருவித ஜனங்கள் சிதறுண்டு பரம்பியிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய வழக்கங்கள் சகல ஜனங்களுடைய வழக்கங்களுக்கும் விகற்பமாயிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் ராஜாவின் சட்டங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறதில்லை; ஆகையால் அவர்களை இப்படி விட்டிருக்கிறது ராஜாவுக்கு நியாயமல்ல." ( எஸ்தர் 3 : 8 ) ஆனால் தேவ கட்டளைகளை வைராக்கியமாகப் பின்பற்றிய யூதர்களைத் தேவன் காப்பாற்றினார். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "நீங்கள் உலகத்தாராயிருந்தால், உலகம் தன்னுடையதைச் சிநேகித்திருக்கும்; நீங்கள் உலகத்தாராயிராதபடியினாலும், நான் உங்களை உலகத்திலிருந்து தெரிந்துகொண்டபடியினாலும், உலகம் உங்களைப் பகைக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 15 : 19 ) என்று கூறினார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மற்றவர்கள் நம்மைப் பகைத்தாலும் நாம் கர்த்தரின் ஆடுகள். எனவே, கர்த்தரையே  மேய்ப்பனாகக் கொண்டு அவரது குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். மேய்ப்பனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கும் ஆடுகள் மேய்ப்பன் குரலை அறிந்து அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்பதுபோல தேவனது குரலைக்கேட்டு நடக்கும் அனுபவம் நமக்கு வேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி நாம் வாழ்வோமானால், நமது  ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் நன்மையும் கிருபையும் நம்மைத் தொடரும்; நாம் கர்த்தருடைய வீட்டிலே நீடித்த நாள்களாய் நிலைத்திருப்போம்.

"Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." (Psalm 23:6)

Today’s meditation verse reflects the words of a believer speaking with firm faith and assurance that God will grant two types of blessings: earthly blessings and eternal life in the world to come.

For however many years we live in this world, God's goodness and grace must be with us; that is the greatest worldly blessing. To dwell in the house of the Lord forever is a spiritual blessing. In today's meditation verse, King David says that by living with the Lord as his Shepherd, he will inherit both of these blessings.

If you observe shepherds leading their sheep to pasture, you will notice they make distinct command sounds for every action the sheep must take. The sheep understand the meaning of those sounds and move in obedience. The shepherd signals through various vocalizations where to go, where not to go, and when to turn. Because the sheep recognize the intent behind the shepherd’s voice, they follow accordingly.

Having the Lord as our Shepherd is exactly like this. It is a profound spiritual experience. Just as a shepherd guides his sheep, God leads the lives of His spiritual children. He reveals His will to them in various ways, and they, understanding His will, walk according to it. When we live this way, goodness and mercy will pursue us all the days of our lives.

Furthermore, God leads His children who live in obedience to Him in a manner that is different from the rest of the world. Consequently, they find themselves unable to participate in many things that others do. Because of this, worldly people sometimes criticize or find fault with spiritual children. This is not a new phenomenon; even thousands of years ago, God’s children were scrutinized by others.

Consider the wicked Haman, who rose against the Jews and sought to wipe them from the face of the earth. He brought this very accusation before King Ahasuerus:

"Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, 'There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from those of all other people and they do not observe the king’s laws, so it is not in the king’s interest to let them remain.'" (Esther 3:8)

Despite this, God protected the Jews who zealously followed His commands. Our Lord Jesus Christ also spoke of this distinction:

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you." (John 15:19)

Beloved, even if others hate us, we are the Lord's sheep. Therefore, it is essential that we live with the Lord as our Shepherd, listening to His voice. Just as sheep under a shepherd’s care know his voice and obey, we must have the experience of hearing and following God’s voice.

If we live in this manner, goodness and lovingkindness will follow us all the days of our lives, and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
