 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1888

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 09, வியாழன்       

"ஆகையால் நீங்கள் எருசலேமை விட்டுப் போகாமல் என்னிடத்தில் கேள்விப்பட்ட பிதாவின் வாக்குத்தத்தம் நிறைவேறக் காத்திருங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 5 )

எருசலேம் என்பதற்குப் பல அர்த்தங்கள் உண்டு. அது  பரிசுத்த நகரம்; தாய்வீடு; தேவன் தங்கியிருக்கும் ஆலயம்; தேவனின் நகரம்; ஆவிக்குரிய அர்த்தத்தில் அது பரிசுத்த வாழ்வு,  பரலோக ராஜ்ஜியம் இவைகளைக் குறிக்கின்றது.

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் உயிர்த்தெழுந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துத் தனது சீடர்களிடம், நீங்கள் எருசலேமை விட்டுப் போகாமல் என்னிடத்தில் கேள்விப்பட்ட பிதாவின் வாக்குத்தத்தம் நிறைவேறக் காத்திருங்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, காத்திருத்தல் ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய செயல்பாடு. காத்திருத்தலைக்குறித்து வேதாகமத்தில் பல இடங்களில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். அது பொறுமையை விளக்குவதாக உள்ளது.

மற்ற உலக மனிதர்களைப்போல அல்லாமல் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களுக்கு நிதானம் மிக அவசியம். தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கு, தேவன் நமக்கு அளித்த வாக்குறுதிகளுக்கு நாம் உரிமையடைவதற்கு, நிதானமான காத்திருத்தல் அவசியம். பொதுவாக மக்கள் எதனையும் விரைவாக முடிக்கவேண்டும் என்று ஆசைப்படுவார்கள். மற்றவர்களுக்குமுன் நாம் சென்று முதலாவதாக எதனையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுவார்கள். ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய நாம் அப்படியிருக்கத் தேவையில்லை. நாம் தேவன் நியமித்தக் காலத்துக்காகக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்; நமக்குப் பொறுமை அவசியம். 

காத்திருப்பதால் நாம் பெலனடைகின்றோம். ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை சீடர்களுக்கு வாக்களித்திருந்தார். அந்த வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையினை பெற்றுகொள்ளும்வரை எருசலேமைவிட்டு எங்கும் செல்லவேண்டாம் என்கின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையில்லாமல், அவரது வழிநடத்துதல் இல்லாமல் நாம் நமது மனம் நினைத்தபடி செயல்படக்கூடாது. அப்படிச் செயல்படுவதால் பல தோல்விகளை வாழ்வில் சந்திக்கநேரிடும். 

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் இந்தப் பொறுமை மிக அவசியம். எபிரெய நிருப ஆசிரியர் பல தேவ மனிதர்களின் சாட்சி வாழ்கையினைக் குறிப்பிட்டுவிட்டு இறுதியில் கூறுகின்றார், "ஆகையால், மேகம்போன்ற இத்தனை திரளான சாட்சிகள் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்க, பாரமான யாவற்றையும், நம்மைச் சுற்றி நெருங்கிநிற்கிற பாவத்தையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, விசுவாசத்தைத் துவக்குகிறவரும் முடிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிற இயேசுவை நோக்கி, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்தில் பொறுமையோடே ஓடக்கடவோம்" ( எபிரெயர் 12 : 1 ) என்று. 

அதாவது, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய ஓட்டம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நோக்கியதாக இருக்கவேண்டும். மட்டுமல்ல, மற்றவர்களைப்பார்த்து அல்ல, நமக்கு அவர் என்ன நியமித்துள்ளாரோ அந்தப் பாதையில் நாம் வேகமாக அல்ல; பொறுமையுடன் ஓடவேண்டும்.  இதனையே மேற்படி வசனத்தில், "இயேசுவை நோக்கி, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்தில் பொறுமையோடே ஓடக்கடவோம்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆகையால் நாம் எருசலேம் எனும் பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கையினை விட்டு விலகிடாமல் தேவன் நமக்கு அளித்துள்ள வாக்குத்தத்தம் நிறைவேறக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும். இப்படிக் காத்திருப்பது நமக்கு ஒருவேளை மனச் சோர்வினைத் தரலாம்;  மனவேதனையினைத் தரலாம். ஆனால், தேவன் தந்த வாக்குறுதி நிறைவேறும்போது நம்மில் பூரண மகிழ்ச்சி உண்டாகும். 

"நெடுங்காலமாய்க் காத்திருக்குதல் இருதயத்தை இளைக்கப்பண்ணும்; விரும்பினது வரும்போதோ ஜீவவிருட்சம்போல் இருக்கும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 13 : 12 )

"Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, 'Which,' He said, 'you heard of from Me.'" (Acts 1:4)

"Jerusalem" carries many layers of meaning. It is the Holy City, the ancestral home, the Temple where God dwells, and the City of God. In a spiritual sense, it symbolizes a life of holiness and the Kingdom of Heaven.

In today’s meditation verse, the resurrected Jesus Christ tells His disciples not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for the promise of the Father which they had heard from Him. Truly, dear ones, waiting is a spiritual activity. We read about waiting in many places throughout the Bible; it serves as an illustration of patience.

Unlike the people of this world, spiritual people must possess divine composure (discernment/steadfastness). To receive God's blessings and to claim the promises He has given us, a patient waiting is essential. Generally, people desire to finish everything quickly. They think they must get ahead of others to receive things first. But as spiritual people, we do not need to be that way. It is vital that we wait for the time appointed by God; patience is a necessity for us.

We gain strength by waiting. The Lord Jesus Christ had promised the Holy Spirit to the disciples. He told them not to go anywhere away from Jerusalem until they received the power of that promised Spirit. Indeed, dear ones, we should not act according to our own minds without the power and guidance of the Spirit. Acting on our own leads to many failures in life.

This patience is vital in the spiritual life. The author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, after mentioning the witness of many men of God, concludes by saying:

"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith..." (Hebrews 12:1–2)

Our spiritual race must be focused on Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we should not look at others, but run the path He has appointed for us—not with frantic haste, but with endurance (patience). This is why the verse says, "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus."

Therefore, let us not depart from the holy life—our "Jerusalem"—but wait for the fulfilment of the promise God has given us. Waiting like this might sometimes bring weariness or mental pain. However, when God’s promise is fulfilled, there will be perfect joy within us.

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12)
