🦋 Meditation verse - யோபு 19 : 14-15 / Job 19:14-15

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1897

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 18, சனி        

"என் பந்துஜனங்கள் விலகிப்போனார்கள். என் சிநேகிதர் என்னை மறந்துவிட்டார்கள். என் வீட்டு ஜனங்களும், என் வேலைக்காரிகளும், என்னை அந்நியனாக எண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் பார்வைக்கு நான் பரதேசியானேன்." ( யோபு 19 : 14-15 )

இன்று நாம் இந்தியாவில் காணும் அம்பானி,  அதானி போல வாழ்ந்தவர்தான் யோபு. கிழக்கு நாடுகளிலுள்ள அனைவரைவிடவும் அவர் மிகவும் பெரியவராக இருந்தார். "அவனுக்கு ஏழாயிரம் ஆடுகளும், மூவாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களும், ஐந்நூறு ஏர்மாடுகளும், ஐந்நூறு கழுதைகளுமாகிய மிருகஜீவன்கள் இருந்ததுமன்றி, திரளான பணிவிடைக்காரரும் இருந்தார்கள்; அதினால் அந்த மனுஷன் கிழக்கத்திப் புத்திரர் எல்லாரிலும் பெரியவனாயிருந்தான்." ( யோபு 1 : 3 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆனால் இவ்வளவு பெரிய செல்வந்தனான யோபு ஒரே நாளில் பரதேசி அல்லது பிச்சைக்காரனைப்போல ஆகிவிட்டார். முன்பு திரளான பணிவிடைக்கார்கள் இருந்தார்கள் ஆனால் இன்று அதே வேலைக்காரர்களும் வேலைக்காரிகளும் அவரை அந்நியனாகப் பார்த்தார்கள். "நான் என் வேலைக்காரனைக் கூப்பிடுகிறபோது அவன் எனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடான்; என் வாயினால் நான் அவனைக் கெஞ்சவேண்டியதாயிற்று." ( யோபு 19 : 16 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகம் பணத்துக்கு மதிப்புக் கொடுக்கின்றதே தவிர மனிதனுக்கல்ல. பணத்தையும் செல்வத்தையும் உலகம்  நேசிப்பதால் பணத்தையும் செல்வத்தையும் வைத்திருப்பவர்களை அன்பு செய்வதாக நடிக்கின்றது. உயிர் நண்பர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்பவர்கள்கூட பலவேலைகளில் உண்மையான அன்புசெலுத்துபவர்களாக இருப்பதில்லை. இதனையே, "என் பிராணசிநேகிதர் எல்லாரும் என்னை வெறுக்கிறார்கள்; நான் சிநேகித்தவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதிகளானார்கள்." ( யோபு 19 : 19 ) என்கின்றார் யோபு.

ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, யோபு நீதிமானாகவும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயமுள்ளவராகவும் இருந்ததால் தனது உத்தமத்திலிருந்து பின்வாங்கவில்லை. "கர்த்தர் கொடுத்தார்; கர்த்தர் எடுத்தார்" ( யோபு 1 : 21 ) என்பதே அவரது கூற்று. "கர்த்தரது கைகளால் நன்மைகளைப்  பெற்ற நாம் தீமையையும் பெறவேண்டாமோ?"  ( யோபு 2 : 10 ) என்பதுதான் அவரது  நியாயம். எனவே, தேவன் அவரை மீண்டும் உயர்த்தினார். இரெட்டிப்பான ஆசீர்வாதங்களை அவருக்கு அளித்தார். யோபு தான் இழந்துபோன அனைத்தையும் இரண்டு மடங்காகப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார். 

இப்போது என்ன நடந்திருக்குமென்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள்...அவரை அந்நியராகப் பார்த்து அவரைப் புறக்கணித்த வேலைக்காரர்கள் அவரிடம் மீண்டும் வந்து வேலைக்காக கெஞ்சியிருப்பார்கள். அவரைப் புறக்கணித்த ஏமாற்று நண்பர்கள் மீண்டும் அவரிடம் வந்து அவரது பணத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சிபெறக் கூட்டம்  கூடியிருப்பார்கள். இப்போது யோபு அனைவரைக்குறித்தும் ஒரு தெளிவுள்ளவராக மாறியிருந்திருப்பார். 

யோபுவைபோல பலர் இன்றும் உலகினில் உண்டு. நல்ல வேலைகளை, செல்வத்தை, சொந்த வீடு, பிள்ளைகளை இழந்து தவிப்பவர்கள் உண்டு. நண்பர்களால் ஏமாற்றப்பட்டவர்கள் உண்டு.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் நம்பிக்கைக் கொள்ளவேண்டியது நமது பதவியையே, உடல் பலத்தையோ, பணத்தையோ, நமக்கு உதவும் வேலைக்காரர்களையோ, போலி நண்பர்கள் கூட்டத்தையோ அல்ல. மாறாக, நம்மீது மாறாத அன்புகொள்ளும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் மட்டுமே. அவரே என்றும் மாறாதவர். 

இன்று நாம் இப்படித் தாழ்ந்துபோக என்ன காரணம் என்று காரணத்தைத் தேடாமல் கர்த்தரிடம் நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். யோபுவைக் கைவிட்டதுபோல ஒரு குறுகிய காலத்துக்கே அவர் நம்மை இப்படி வைத்திருப்பார். அதற்கு அவருக்கு ஏதாவது நோக்கமிருக்கும். "இமைப்பொழுது உன்னைக் கைவிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களால் உன்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வேன். அற்பகாலம் மூண்ட கோபத்தினால் என் முகத்தை இமைப்பொழுது உனக்கு மறைத்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய உன் மீட்பர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( ஏசாயா 54 : 7-8 )

உலக பொருட்கள், நமது உடல்பலம், பதவி, பணம், நமக்குள்ள செல்வாக்கு, நமக்கு உதவக்கூடிய மனிதர்கூட்டம் இவைகள்மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கை வைத்திடாமல் கர்த்தரையே முழுமையாகப் பற்றிக்கொள்வோம்; நமது வாழ்வை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.  அப்போது, "நித்திய கிருபையுடன் உனக்கு இரங்குவேன்" என்று கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வாக்களித்து உறுதிகூறுகின்றார்.

"My relatives have failed, and my intimate friends have forgotten me. Those who live in my house and my female servants consider me a stranger. I am a foreigner in their sight." (Job 19:14-15)

Job was a man who lived much like the modern-day magnates we see in India, such as Ambani or Adani. He was greater than anyone else in the East. Scripture records:

"His possessions also were 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and very many servants; and that man was the greatest of all the men of the east." (Job 1:3)

However, this immensely wealthy man became like a foreigner or a beggar in a single day. Previously, he had a multitude of servants, but now those same men and women looked at him as a stranger. Job laments:

"I call to my servant, but he does not answer; I have to implore him with my mouth." (Job 19:16)

Yes, dear ones, this world values money, not the person. Because the world loves wealth and possessions, it merely pretends to love those who hold them. Even those who claim to be "soulmates" or "best friends" often fail to show genuine love when the tide turns. As Job says:

"All my associates abhor me, and those I love have turned against me." (Job 19:19)

Despite this, because Job was righteous and God-fearing, he did not retreat from his integrity. His declaration was:

"The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21)

His reasoning was sound:

"Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" (Job 2:10)

Because of this faithfulness, God restored him. He granted him double blessings, and Job received twice as much as he had lost.

Imagine what would have happened then... the servants who looked at him as a stranger and neglected him would have returned to beg for their jobs back. The deceitful friends who abandoned him would have flocked back to enjoy his wealth. By then, however, Job would have gained a clear, spiritual discernment regarding everyone around him.

There are many today like Job—those who have lost good jobs, wealth, homes, or children. There are those who have been betrayed by friends.

Beloved, our hope must not rest in our positions, our physical strength, our money, the servants who assist us, or a crowd of fair-weather friends. Instead, our hope must be placed solely on the Lord Jesus Christ, whose love never changes. He is the only one who remains constant.

Rather than searching for reasons why we have been brought low today, let us surrender ourselves to the Lord. If He has allowed us to be in this state, it is only for a short season, just as it was for Job. He has a purpose in it.

"For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer." (Isaiah 54:7-8)

Let us not place our full confidence in worldly goods, physical strength, status, money, or influential connections. Let us cling fully to the Lord and commit our lives to Him. When we do, the Lord Jesus Christ promises and assures us: "With everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you."
