🦋 Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2: 4 / Song of Songs 2:4

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1858

🔆 2026 மார்ச் 10, செவ்வாய்   

"என்னை விருந்துச்சாலைக்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோனார்; என்மேல் பறந்த அவருடைய கொடி நேசமே." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2: 4)

விருந்து என்பது நாம் நமது உறவினர்களோடு கொண்டாடும் ஒரு அன்புப்பகிர்வு. நாம் நமக்குத் தெரிந்த எல்லோரையும் விருந்துக்கு அழைப்பதில்லை. அதுபோல எல்லோரிடமும் விருந்து உண்பதற்குச் செல்வதுமில்லை. ஒருவரோடு நாம் விருந்து உண்கின்றோமென்றால் அவர்களோடு நமக்கு நல்ல உறவு இருக்கின்றதென்று பொருள். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் எனது அத்தும நேசர் என்னை விருந்துச் சாலைக்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோனார் என்று பாடுகின்றாள் அவருக்குப் பிரியமான ரூபவதி (அழகுள்ள பெண்). காரணம், அவரது அன்பு கொடிபோல என்மேல் பறந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றது என்கின்றாள் அவள்.   தேவனுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும் அவரது விசுவாசிகளைத்தான்  ரூபவதி என்று குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றது.

மேலும், தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் திராட்சை ரசத்துடன் கூடிய விருந்து உண்டு என்பதை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் சீடர்களிடம் கூறினார். "நான் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் நவமான ரசத்தைப் பானம்பண்ணும் நாள்வரைக்கும் திராட்சப்பழரசத்தை இனி நான் பானம்பண்ணுவதில்லையென்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 14: 25) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகளாக இருப்போமானால் அவர் நம்மோடும் விருந்து உண்பதற்கு ஆசையாக இருக்கின்றார். அதற்காக நமது இருதயத்தின் கதவுகளைத் தட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார். "இதோ, வாசற்படியிலே நின்று தட்டுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் என் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு, கதவைத் திறந்தால், அவனிடத்தில் நான் பிரவேசித்து, அவனோடே போஜனம்பண்ணுவேன், அவனும் என்னோடே போஜனம் பண்ணுவான்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3: 20) என்று கூறப்படவில்லையா? கதவைத் தட்டும் நேசருக்கு நாம்  இருதயத்தைத் திறக்கவேண்டியது மட்டுமே அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

வெளிப்படுகின விசேஷத்தில் கூறப்படும் இந்த  அனுபவத்தை நாம் உன்னதப் பாட்டிலும் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "நான் நித்திரைபண்ணினேன், என் இதயமோ விழித்திருந்தது; கதவைத் தட்டுகிற என் நேசரின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்: என் சகோதரியே! என் பிரியமே! என் புறாவே! என் உத்தமியே! கதவைத் திற; என் தலை பனியினாலும், என் தலைமயிர் இரவில் பெய்யும் தூறலினாலும் நனைந்திருக்கிறது என்றார்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 5: 2) ஆம், உறங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்தாலும் கதவைத் தட்டும் நேசரின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பதற்கு இதயமானது விழித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தது என்று இங்கு வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இங்கு வேதாகமம் கூறும் விருந்து, உலக விருந்தினைப்போல வயிற்றை நிரப்பும் விருந்தல்ல. மாறாக, இருதயத்தை தேவ அன்பினால் நிரப்பும் விருந்து. தேவன் நம்மோடு கூடவே இருந்து,  தாய், தகப்பனைபோல உறவோடு குடும்பமாக வாழும் விருந்து. தாயைப் பிரிந்திருக்கும் ஒரு இரண்டு வயது குழந்தைக்கு உண்பதற்கும், விளையாடுவதற்கும்  நாம் எதனைக் கொடுத்தாலும் அந்தக் குழந்தை திருப்தியடையாது. மாறாக, அந்தக் குழந்தை தாயின் அரவணைப்பையே பெரிதாகக் கருதும். அதுபோல தேவனோடு ஐக்கியமாக நிரந்தரமாக வாழ்வதே பரலோக விருந்து. 

இந்த உலகினில் நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது அவர் நம்மை இந்த விருந்துச்சாலைக்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோவார். அவரது அன்புக் கொடி நேசம் நம்மேல் பறக்கும்.

🔆 March 10, 2026 – Tuesday

“He has brought me to his banquet hall, and his banner over me is love.” — Song of Songs 2:4

A banquet is a loving celebration that we share with our close relatives and dear ones. We do not invite everyone we know to a feast, nor do we attend a feast hosted by just anyone. If we dine together with someone, it signifies that we share a meaningful relationship with them.

In today’s meditation verse, the beloved bride declares that her loving Bridegroom has brought her into the banquet hall. She says that His banner over her is love. The “beautiful one” mentioned here represents the faithful who live a life pleasing to God.

Furthermore, Jesus Christ also spoke to His disciples about a banquet in the Kingdom of God that includes the fruit of the vine. We read:

“Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”— Gospel of Mark 14:25

Yes, beloved friends, if we are His children, He desires to dine with us. For this reason, He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.”— Book of Revelation 3:20 (NASB) Is it not clearly written so? All that is necessary is that we open our hearts to the loving One who knocks at the door.

This same experience described in Revelation is also found in the Song of Songs:

“I was asleep but my heart was awake. A voice! My beloved was knocking: ‘Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my perfect one! For my head is drenched with dew, my locks with the damp of the night.’” — Song of Songs 5:2

Even while she slept, her heart was awake to hear the voice of her beloved knocking at the door.

The banquet spoken of in the Bible is not like a worldly feast that merely fills the stomach. Rather, it is a feast that fills the heart with divine love. It is a fellowship where God abides with us, living with us as a family—like a tender mother and father.

Consider a two-year-old child separated from its mother. No matter what food or toys we offer, the child will not be satisfied. What the child longs for most is the embrace of the mother. In the same way, the heavenly banquet is to live in eternal fellowship with God.

When we live a life pleasing to God in this world, He will bring us into this banquet hall. His banner of love will fly over us.
