📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1884

🔆 2026 ஏப்ரல் 05, ஞாயிறு   

"கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திருக்கவில்லையென்றால், எங்கள் பிரசங்கமும் விருதா, உங்கள் விசுவாசமும் விருதா." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 14 )

"ஆதவன்" தியான வாசகர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் உயிர்ப்புத் திருநாள் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்!!

கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்தெழுதல்தான் கிறிஸ்தவத்தின் அச்சாணி. கிறிஸ்து உயிர்த்தெழவில்லையானால் அவர் சாதாரண ஒரு உலக மகான் போலவே இருந்திருப்பார். அப்படி இருந்திருப்பாரென்றால் நாம் அவரை கடவுளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டிய அவசியமே இருந்திருக்காது. 

உலகத்தில் பல நல்ல நெறிமுறைகளைக் கூறி  பெயர்பெற்றுவிளங்கும் அறிஞர்கள் பலர் உண்டு. ஆனால் அவர்களது மரணத்துடன் அவர்களது வாழ்வு முடிந்துவிடுகின்றது. அவர்கள் கூறிய கருத்துக்களை நாம் நினைவில் கொண்டிருந்தாலும் அவர்களை மறந்துவிடுவோம்.  குறிப்பாக, தமிழில் இப்படி நீதிநெறிகளை எடுத்துக்கூறிய பல அறிஞர்கள் உண்டு. 

ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்வு இந்த அறிஞர்களின் வாழ்வுபோல அவரோடு முடிந்துவிடவில்லை. காரணம், அவரும் மரணத்துடன் அழிந்துபோய்விடவில்லை. அவர் இன்றும் உயிரோடு இருக்கின்றார். "மரித்தேன், ஆனாலும், இதோ, சதாகாலங்களிலும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறேன், ஆமென்; நான் மரணத்திற்கும் பாதாளத்திற்குமுரிய திறவுகோல்களை உடையவராயிருக்கிறேன்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 1 : 18 ) என்கிறார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்துக் கொண்டுள்ள விசுவாசம் மூட நம்பிக்கையல்ல. ஒரு மனிதன் உயிரோடு இருக்கிறானென்றால் அவன் மற்றவர்களைப்போல் பேசவேண்டும், செயல்படவேண்டும். அப்படி கிறிஸ்து இன்றும் செயல்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருப்பதால்தான்  அவர் உயிர்த்தெழுந்தார் என்பது நம்மால் உறுதியாக நம்பப்படும் உண்மையாக இருக்கின்றது. 

கிறிஸ்து இப்போதும் நம்மோடு பேசுகின்றார், நம்மை வழிநடத்துகின்றார்; நம்மிலிருந்து செயல்புரிகின்றார்.  அதனை நாம் அனுபவிக்கமுடியும்.   இதுவே அவர் உயிரோடு இருக்கிறார் என்பதற்கு ஆதாரம். இந்த அனுபவம் இருப்பதால்தான் கிறிஸ்தவம் 2026 ஆண்டுக்களைக் கடந்தும் இன்றும் உலகினில் நிலைபெற்று நிற்கின்றது. நடக்காத ஒரு பொய்யை இராண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாக உண்மையென்று யாராவது நம்பவைக்கமுடியுமா என்பதனை நாம் சிந்திக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, கிறிஸ்து உயிரோடு இருப்பதை அவர் அளிக்கும் பாவமன்னிப்பு அனுபவத்தின்மூலம் நாம் உறுதியாக நம்பலாம். குறிப்பிட்ட நதியில் அல்லது குளத்தில் அல்லது கடலில் குறிப்பிட்ட நாளில் குளித்தால் நமது பாவம் போகும் என்று சிலர் நம்புவதுபோல கிறிஸ்து அளிக்கும் பாவமன்னிப்பு வெறும் நம்பிக்கை அல்ல.  அது உண்மையாக நமது இருதயத்தில் உணரப்படும் அனுபவம்; அது ஆத்துமத்தில் ஏற்படும் அமைதியும் ஆறுதலும்.  இந்த அனுபவம்தான்  கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதல் உண்மை என்பதற்குச் சான்று. இது கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்தெழுததால் கிடைத்த கிருபை வரம். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்,  "கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திராவிட்டால், உங்கள் விசுவாசம் வீணாயிருக்கும்; நீங்கள் இன்னும் உங்கள் பாவங்களில் இருப்பீர்கள்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 17 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்து எழுந்திருக்கவில்லையென்றால், எங்கள் பிரசங்கமும் விருதா, உங்கள் விசுவாசமும் விருதா என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளபடி கிறிஸ்து உயிர்த்தெழுந்திராவிட்டால்  எல்லாமே வீண். இப்படி தினசரி தியானம் எழுதுவதும் அதனை நீங்கள் வாசிப்பதும் வீண். 

எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மேலாக கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்த்தெழுதல் நமக்கும் மரணத்திலிருந்து அவரைப்போல உயிர்த்தெழும் பேற்றினைத் தந்துள்ளது. ஆம், "அன்றியும் இயேசுவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பினவருடைய ஆவி உங்களில் வாசமாயிருந்தால், கிறிஸ்துவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பினவர் உங்களில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற தம்முடைய ஆவியினாலே சாவுக்கேதுவான உங்கள் சரீரங்களையும் உயிர்ப்பிப்பார்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 11 )

மட்டுமல்ல, கிறிஸ்து உயிர்த்தெழாவிட்டால் நாம் மனம்போல மிருகங்களைப்போல வாழ்ந்து சாகலாமல்லவா? "..........மரித்தோர் உயிர்த்தெழாவிட்டால், புசிப்போம் குடிப்போம், நாளைக்குச் சாவோம் என்று சொல்லலாமே?" ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 15 : 32 ) உயிர்த்தெழுந்த கிறிஸ்துதான் இன்று நம்மை மனிதர்களாக வாழவைத்துள்ளார். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிர்ப்பை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவர் அளிக்கும் பாவமன்னிப்பை பெற்றுக்கொள்பவர்களுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டு. இல்லையானால் உண்டு, குடித்து உயிரைவிடும் மிருகங்களைப்போலவே நமது வாழ்வும்  முடிவடையும்.

"And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain." (1 Corinthians 15:14)

Easter greetings to all the readers of "Aathavan"

The resurrection of Christ is the very axle of Christianity. If Christ had not risen, He would have remained merely a common great man of the world. Had that been the case, there would be no necessity for us to accept Him as God.

There are many scholars in the world who have gained fame by teaching noble ethics. However, their journey ends with their death. While we may remember the ideas they shared, we eventually forget them. In the Tamil tradition specifically, there have been many such scholars who articulated profound moral codes.

But the life of Christ did not end with Him as it did for those scholars. The reason is that He was not destroyed by death. He is alive today. The Lord Jesus Christ says: "I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades" (Revelation 1:18).

As Christians, the faith we hold regarding Christ is not a blind superstition. For a man to be considered alive, he must speak and act like others. It is because Christ continues to act today that His resurrection is a truth we believe with absolute certainty.

Christ speaks to us even now; He leads us and works through us. We can experience this personally. This experience is the proof that He is alive. It is because of this living reality that Christianity remains established in the world today, even after 2026 years. We must consider whether it would be possible to make anyone believe a lie as the truth for two thousand years if it never actually happened.

Furthermore, we can believe firmly that Christ is alive through the experience of the forgiveness of sins He provides. This forgiveness is not merely a ritualistic belief—like the belief some hold that bathing in a specific river, pond, or sea on a particular day will wash away sins. Rather, it is an experience truly felt in our hearts; it is a peace and comfort that settles in the soul. This experience is the testimony that the resurrection of Christ is true. It is a gift of grace made available through His rising. Therefore, the Apostle Paul says: "and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins" (1 Corinthians 15:17).

Yes, dear ones, as it is written, if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. If Christ had not risen, everything would be futile. Writing these daily meditations and you reading them would be a waste of time.

Above all, the resurrection of Christ has granted us the privilege of rising from death just as He did. "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you" (Romans 8:11).

Moreover, if Christ had not risen, could we not just live and die like animals, following our own whims? "...If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die" (1 Corinthians 15:32). It is the risen Christ who enables us to live truly as human beings today.

Eternal life belongs to those who believe in and accept the resurrection of Christ and receive the forgiveness of sins He offers. Otherwise, our lives will end just like the animals that simply eat, drink, and perish.
