📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1856

🔆 2026 மார்ச் 08, ஞாயிறு 

"குமாரனை உடையவன் ஜீவனை உடையவன், தேவனுடைய குமாரன் இல்லாதவன் ஜீவன் இல்லாதவன்." (1 யோவான்  5 : 12)

ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு உயிர் இருக்கின்றதா இல்லையா என்பதனை நாம் அவனது சுவாசத்தைக் கொண்டு அறியலாம். மருத்துவர்கள் கைநாடி பிடித்துப் பார்ப்பார்கள். அது இதயத்துடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தும். இப்படித் துடிப்பு இருக்குமானால் அந்த மனிதனுக்கு உயிர் இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். இந்த உயிர்த்துடிப்பு மிகவும் குறைவாக இருக்குமானால் அவனைக் காப்பற்றிட அவனது இதயத்துடிப்பை அதிகரிக்க வகைபார்ப்பார்கள். 

இதுபோலவே கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் ஒருவருக்குள் கிறிஸ்து எந்த அளவுக்கு இருந்து செயல்படுகின்றார் என்பதைப்பொறுத்தே அவரது ஆவிக்குரிய உயிர் இருக்கும். "நானே வழியும் சத்தியமும் ஜீவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; என்னாலேயல்லாமல் ஒருவனும் பிதாவினிடத்தில் வரான்." ( யோவான் 14: 6) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா? ஆம், அவரே சத்தியமும் ஜீவனும். 

"தேவன் நமக்கு நித்தியஜீவனைத் தந்திருக்கிறார், அந்த ஜீவன் அவருடைய குமாரனில் இருக்கிறதென்பதே அந்தச் சாட்சியாம்." (1 யோவான்  5 : 11) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நித்திய ஜீவன் எனும் முடிவில்லா வாழ்வு கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் இருக்கின்றது. அதை ஏற்கெனவே நமக்கு ஆயத்தமாய் வைத்திருக்கின்றார். அதனை நாம் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள முயலவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "குமாரனை உடையவன் ஜீவனை உடையவன், தேவனுடைய குமாரன் இல்லாதவன் ஜீவன் இல்லாதவன்" என்று கூறி நம்மை அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

ஒருவனுக்குள் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஜீவன் இருக்கின்றது என்பதை நாம் எப்படி அறிந்துகொள்வது? அது மருத்துவர்களைப்போல நாடித்துடிப்பை வைத்து நாம் கண்டுபிடிக்கமுடியாது. மாறாக, நமது மாறுபட்ட வாழ்க்கைதான் அதனை வெளிப்படுத்தும். ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்வது, காணிக்கைகள் கொடுப்பது, வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பது, போன்ற செயல்கள் நம்மை வெளிப்பார்வைக்கு உயிருள்ளவர்கள்போலக் காண்பிக்கும்.  ஆனால், தேவன் இவற்றுக்கு மேலாக நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த வேதபாரகரும் பரிசேயர்களும் மேற்கூறிய அனைத்து நியமங்களையும் கடைபிடித்தவர்கள்தான்.  ஆனால் இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு "ஐயோ கேடு" என்று கூறுவதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம் (மத்தேயு 23:13 - 32)  இப்படி அவர்களை சபிக்கக் காரணம் என்ன என்பதனையும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுகின்றார்:-"அப்படியே நீங்களும் மனுஷருக்கு நீதிமான்கள் என்று புறம்பே காணப்படுகிறீர்கள்; உள்ளத்திலோ மாயத்தினாலும் அக்கிரமத்தினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 23: 28)

அதாவது, வெளியே இந்தச் செயல்களை அவர்கள் செய்தாலும் அவர்களது உள்ளமோ மாயத்தினாலும் அக்கிரமத்தினாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றது என்கிறார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அதாவது, உயிரற்ற உடல் எப்படி அசுத்தமான புழுக்களால் நிறைந்து நாற்றமெடுக்குமோ அதுபோல கிறிஸ்துவாகிய உயிர் இல்லையானால் வெளிச்செயல்கள் இப்படியே தேவனுக்குமுன் நாற்றமெடுப்பதாக இருக்கும். கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே மாயமும் அக்கிரமமும் நம்மை விட்டு அகலும்.

ஆம், கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நமது பரிசேய குணங்கள் மாறும். காரணம், அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நமக்குள் உயிர் உண்டாகும். நாம் அவருக்குள் உயிரடையும்போது மட்டுமே நமக்குள் இருக்கும் அசுத்தங்கள் வெளியேறும். மரித்து நான்கு நாட்கள் கடந்தபின் நாற்றமெடுத்த லாசரின் உடல் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தையால் உயிர்பெறவில்லையா? "அன்றியும் இயேசுவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பினவருடைய ஆவி உங்களில் வாசமாயிருந்தால், கிறிஸ்துவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பினவர் உங்களில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற தம்முடைய ஆவியினாலே சாவுக்கேதுவான உங்கள் சரீரங்களையும் உயிர்ப்பிப்பார்." (ரோமர் 8:11)

சாவுக்கேதுவான நமது  சரீரங்கள் உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்பட கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்படி வேண்டுதல் செய்யவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம், அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் உயிரடைந்து அவருக்குச் சாட்சிகளாக வாழமுடியும். ஆம், "குமாரனை உடையவன் ஜீவனை உடையவன், தேவனுடைய குமாரன் இல்லாதவன் ஜீவன் இல்லாதவன்." நமக்குள் ஜீவன் இருக்கின்றதா என்பதை நாமே நிதானித்துப் பார்ப்போம்.

🔆 March 08, 2026 – Sunday

“The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” — First Epistle of John 5:12

We determine whether a person is alive by observing their breath. Doctors check the pulse; it reveals the heartbeat. If there is a heartbeat, it means the person is alive. If the heartbeat is very weak, they take measures to revive and strengthen it in order to save the person.

In the same way, though someone may call himself a Christian, his spiritual life depends on the measure in which Christ lives and works within him. Did not Jesus say, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” — Gospel of John 14:6? Yes, He alone is the Truth and the Life.

“And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.” — First Epistle of John 5:11.

Beloved, eternal life — the endless life — is found in Christ Jesus. It has already been prepared and made available for us. We must take hold of it. That is why today’s meditation verse clearly warns us: “The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.”

How can we know whether the life of Christ is within a person? We cannot detect it like a doctor checking a pulse. Instead, a transformed life reveals it. Attending church, giving offerings, and reading the Bible may make us appear spiritually alive outwardly. But God expects more than these external actions.

The scribes and Pharisees who lived in Christ’s time carefully observed all such religious practices. Yet we read that Jesus pronounced “woe” upon them (see Gospel of Matthew 23:13–32). Why did He rebuke them so strongly? He explains in Gospel of Matthew 23:28:

“So, you, too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

Though they performed religious acts outwardly, their hearts were filled with hypocrisy and wickedness. Just as a lifeless body becomes corrupt and foul, external works without the life of Christ are offensive before God. Only when Christ comes into us do hypocrisy and lawlessness depart.

Yes, only when Christ enters us will our Pharisaical nature change. For it is only then that true life begins within us. When we come alive in Him, the impurities within us are driven out. Was not the body of Lazarus, which had begun to decay after four days, brought back to life by the word of Jesus?

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” — Epistle to the Romans 8:11

For our mortal bodies to be made alive, we must surrender ourselves to Christ and invite Him to dwell within us. Only when He comes into us do we receive life and become His witnesses.

Yes, “The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” Let each of us examine ourselves and discern whether this life is truly within us.
