 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 ஆதவன் வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1855

"நாம் எதைக் கேட்டாலும், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறாரென்று நாம் அறிந்திருந்தோமானால், அவரிடத்தில் நாம் கேட்டவைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டோம் என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்." (1 யோவான்  5 : 15)

வேதாகமம் நமது உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக எழுதப்படவில்லை. மாறாக, இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கைக்குப்பின் உள்ள நித்திய ஜீவனை நாம் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள வழிகாட்டவே எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "என்னுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் இவ்வுலகத்துக்குரியதல்ல"  என்றுதான் கூறினார். ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் நாம் வேத வசனங்களுக்கு உலகப்பொருள் கொண்டு உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதற்காக வேதாகமம் எழுதப்பட்டதாக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றோம். கேளுங்கள், தட்டுங்கள், தேடுங்கள் என்பன உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தேடுவதைக் குறிப்பதல்ல. வேதாகம  வசனங்கள் அனைத்துமே ஆவிக்குரிய பொருள்கொண்டவை. 

வேதாகமம் எழுதப்பட்டபோது அவை தோல் சுருள்களில் எழுதப்பட்டன. அப்போது அவை தொடர்ச்சியாக எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தன. அதிகாரங்கள், வசன எண்கள் அப்போது கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை. 1227 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பழைய ஏற்பாடும் 1551 ஆம் ஆண்டில் புதிய ஏற்பாடும் அதிகாரங்கள் வசனங்களாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டன.    இவை குறிப்பிட்ட வேதப்பகுதிகளை நாம் எளிதில் கண்டுகொள்ள மட்டுமே உதவுகின்றன. நாம் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது அவை எழுதப்பட்ட முறையின்படி அதிகார எண்களையும் வசன எண்களையும் மறந்து தொடர்ச்சியாக வாசிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் பல வசனங்களை நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். 

இதை விடுத்து நமக்கு வேண்டிய குறிப்பிட்ட வசனத்தை மட்டும் நாம் வாசித்தோமானால் நம்மை நாமே ஏமாற்றிக்கொள்ளும் நிலைமை ஏற்படுவது தவிர்க்கமுடியாதது. இன்றைய தியான வசனம், அவரிடம் எதைக்கேட்டாலும் அவர் நமக்குச் செவி கொடுக்கிறாரென்று கூறுவதால் இன்று பலரும் எதனையும்; எந்த உலக ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும்  அவரிடம் கேட்கலாம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். அப்படித்தான் பல ஊழியர்களும் குருக்களும் போதிக்கின்றனர். 

ஆனால், இன்றைய வசனத்துக்கு முந்தின வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம், "நாம் எதையாகிலும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தின்படி கேட்டால், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறாரென்பதே அவரைப் பற்றி நாம் கொண்டிருக்கிற தைரியம்." (1 யோவான்  5 : 14) அதாவது, எதனையும் கேட்பதல்ல, மாறாக நாம் கேட்பது அவரது சித்தத்துக்கு உகந்ததாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். தேவனை அறிந்தவன்தான் தேவனது சித்தமறிந்து கேட்கக்கூடியவன்.  

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இப்படித்தான் ஜெபித்தார். இதனை நாம், "சற்று அப்புறம்போய், முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து: என் பிதாவே, இந்தப்பாத்திரம் என்னைவிட்டு நீங்கக்கூடுமானால் நீங்கும்படிசெய்யும்; ஆகிலும் என் சித்தத்தின்படியல்ல, உம்முடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே ஆகக்கடவது என்று ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்". (மத்தேயு 26:39) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

உலக ஆசீர்வாத போதகர்கள் குறிப்பிடும் இன்னொரு வசனம், "அந்த நாளிலே நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் ஒன்றுங்கேட்கமாட்டீர்கள். மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதாவினிடத்தில் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவது எதுவோ அதை அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தருவார். இதுவரைக்கும் நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே ஒன்றும் கேட்கவில்லை; கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் சந்தோஷம் நிறைவாயிருக்கும்படி பெற்றுக் கொள்ளுவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 16: 23, 24) 

இயேசு குறிப்பிடும் கேளுங்கள், மகிழ்ச்சி போன்ற வார்த்தைகள் ஆவிக்குரிய அர்த்தம் கொண்டவை. மகிழ்ச்சி என்பது ஆவிக்குரிய நிறைவின் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் குறிக்கின்றது. எனவேதான் இயேசு இந்த வசனத்தின் தொடர்ச்சியாக, "இவைகளை நான் உவமைகளாய் உங்களுடனே பேசுகிறேன்; காலம் வரும், அப்பொழுது நான் உவமைகளாய் உங்களுடனே பேசாமல், பிதாவைக்குறித்து வெளிப்படையாக உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்." ( யோவான் 16: 25) என்கின்றார். அதாவது, பிதாவிடம் நாம் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியதை அவர் இங்கு உவமையாகக் கூறுகின்றேன் என்கிறார். உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக இப்படி கேளுங்கள் என்று கூறவில்லை. 

இயேசு கற்பித்த ஜெபத்தில்கூட,  "உம்முடைய ராஜ்யம் வருவதாக; உம்முடைய சித்தம் பரமண்டலத்திலே செய்யப்படுகிறதுபோல பூமியிலேயும் செய்யப்படுவதாக." ( மத்தேயு 6: 10) என்றுதான் கூறினார். அதாவது உமது பரலோக சித்தம் என்னவோ அதுவே எனக்கு இந்த பூமியில் செய்யப்படட்டும் என்று கற்பித்தார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எதைக் கேட்டாலும், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறார் என்பது உண்மை. அதுபோல, நாமும் அவரது சித்தமறிந்து கேட்கவேண்டும் என்பதும் உண்மை. இப்படி அவரது சித்தம் அறிந்து கேட்போமானால் அவரிடத்தில் நாம் கேட்டவைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம் என்பதும் உண்மை.

📖 AATHAVAN Bible Meditation – No. 1855
🔆 March 07, 2026 – Saturday

“And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” — First Epistle of John 5:15

The Bible was not written to secure worldly prosperity for us. Rather, it was written to guide us into inheriting eternal life beyond this present world. Even Jesus Christ declared, “My kingdom is not of this world.” (Gospel of John 18:36).

Yet many people interpret Scripture with a worldly mindset, assuming that the Bible exists primarily to grant earthly blessings. When the Lord says “ask,” “seek,” and “knock,” it does not refer to pursuing material gain. Every verse in Scripture carries spiritual meaning.

When the Bible was originally written, it was recorded on scrolls in continuous form. There were no chapter or verse divisions. The Old Testament was divided into chapters in A.D. 1227, and the New Testament in 1551. These divisions were introduced merely to help us locate passages easily.

Therefore, when reading the Bible, we must not isolate individual verses but read them in their full context, as originally written. Only then can we properly understand many passages.

If we select only a single verse that suits our desires, we risk deceiving ourselves. Today’s meditation verse says that God hears whatever we ask. Because of this, many assume they can ask for any worldly blessing. Some preachers even teach this.

However, the preceding verse clearly states:

“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” — First Epistle of John 5:14

It is not merely about asking anything; what we ask must be according to His will. Only one who truly knows God can discern His will and pray accordingly.

Even Jesus Christ Himself prayed this way:

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” — Gospel of Matthew 26:39

Another passage often quoted by prosperity teachers is:

“In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” — Gospel of John 16:23–24

The words “ask” and “joy” here carry spiritual meaning. The joy Jesus speaks of refers to spiritual fullness, not material satisfaction. That is why He immediately continues:

“These things I have spoken to you in figures of speech; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly of the Father.” — Gospel of John 16:25

In other words, Jesus indicates that He was speaking figuratively about how we should pray to the Father. He was not instructing us to seek worldly riches.

Even in the prayer He taught:

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Gospel of Matthew 6:10. This teaches us to desire that God’s heavenly will be fulfilled in our earthly lives.

Yes, beloved, it is true that God hears whatever we ask. But it is equally true that we must ask according to His will. When we discern His will and pray accordingly, we can be confident that we have received what we have asked of Him.
