"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳
கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நாம் கொண்டுள்ள நம்பிக்கையினை கொஞ்ச நாட்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, நமது வாழ்வின் இறுதிவரை நாம் காத்துகொண்டு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். கிறிஸ்தவ குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்துவிட்டதால் மட்டும் நாம் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிட முடியாது. கிறிஸ்துவை நமது வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியும் மறுபடி பிறக்கும் அனுபவமே நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக மாற்றும். இப்படி விசுவாசத்தினால் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் ஆகிவிட்ட நாம் அந்த விசுவாசத்தை நமது வாழ்வின் முடிவுவரைக் காத்துக்கொள்பவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.
கிறிஸ்துவை தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியும் மறுபடி பிறக்கும் அனுபவம் இல்லையானால் நாம் மற்ற மதத்தினர் தங்கள் மதத்தில் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டுள்ளதைப்போல கிறிஸ்தவ மதத்தில் நம்பிக்கைக் கொண்ட வெறும் மதவாதிகளாகவே இருப்போம். அத்தகையவர்கள் வெறும் பெயர் கிறிஸ்தவர்களே. அவர்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் உறுதியான விசுவாசம் இருப்பது அரிது. இத்தகைய பெயர் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் தங்களது குடும்ப பிரச்சனைகள், நோய்களுக்காக கிறிஸ்துவை விட்டு மற்ற வழிமுறைகளையும், மற்ற புனிதர்களையும் நாடி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். இது அவர்களுக்கு எள்ளளவும் கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் விசுவாசம் இல்லை என்பதையேக் காட்டுவதாக இருக்கும்.
கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நாம் கொண்டுள்ள விசுவாசம் உறுதியானதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது விசுவாசத்தைச் சிறிதளவு நாம் காத்துக்கொண்டால்கூட அவர் நம்மை கனப்படுத்துவார். ஆம், அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது கடுகளவு விசுவாசம்தான். (லூக்கா 17:6)
மேலும், நாம் கிறிஸ்தவராக இருப்பதால் மற்றவர்களால் பகைக்கப்படலாம்; சில அரசாங்கச் சலுகைகள் நமக்கு கிடைக்காமல் போகலாம். அதற்காக நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை மறுதலிக்க முடியாது. தன்னைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களைப்பற்றி இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் எல்லாராலும் பகைக்கப்படுவீர்கள். முடிவுபரியந்தம் நிலைநிற்பவனே இரட்சிக்கபடுவான்." (மாற்கு 13:13) எனவே, இன்பமோ துன்பமோ, நாம் கொண்ட விசுவாசத்தில் இறுதிவரை நிலைநிற்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.
ஆரம்பத்தில் கொண்ட நம்பிக்கை என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவது மேலான பொருளிலாகும். அதாவது, இது வெறும் உலக காரியங்களுக்காக கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டுப் பின்மாறுவதைக் குறிக்காமல், ஆவிக்குரிய பின்மாறுதலைக் குறிக்கின்றது. உலகப்பிரகாரமான மறுதலிப்பைவிட, ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் கிறிஸ்துவை மறுதலிப்பது அதிக தீமையானதாகும்.
ஒருவேளை நமது குடும்பத்தினர்; மனைவி அல்லது கணவர் கிறிஸ்துவ ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் வளர்ச்சியடையாமல் இருக்கலாம். அவர்களுக்காக சிலமுரண்பாடான காரியங்களை நாம் செய்யவேண்டியிருக்கலாம். அத்தகைய நிலையில் அவர்களுக்காகச் சில காரியங்களை நாம் செய்யவேண்டியிருந்தாலும் மனத்தளவில் கிறிஸ்துவைவிட்டு மாறிடாமல் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். மெய் தேவனை அறிந்துகொண்ட நாகமான் எலிசாவிடம் ரிம்மோன் கோவிலுக்குள் செல்ல அனுமதியை கேட்டதுபோல (2 ராஜாக்கள் 5:18) தேவ அனுமதியோடு தங்கள் இருதயம் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி இருக்க நாம் கவனமாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.
நமது தேவன் இருதயங்களை ஆராய்ந்து அறிகின்றவர். நமது வாயில் சொல் பிறக்குமுன்பே அதனை அறிபவர். எனவே ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும் நமது செயல்பாடுகள் சிலவேளைகளில் முரண்பாடுபோல உலகுக்குத் தெரிந்தாலும் தேவனுக்குமுன் அது நீதியும் சரியான செயலுமாக இருக்கும்.
இதனை வாசிக்கும் நீங்கள் ஒருவேளை பிறமத நம்பிக்கையிலிருந்து புதிதாக கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கலாம். உங்கள் வீடுகளில் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு பிரியமில்லாத காரியங்கள் நடைபெறலாம். உங்களைக் கட்டாயப்படுத்திச் சில காரியங்களைச் செய்யும்படிச் சொல்லலாம். மனம் தடுமாறவேண்டாம். உங்கள் இருதயம் மட்டும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நேராக இருந்தால் போதும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆரம்பத்திலே கொண்ட நம்பிக்கையை மட்டும் முடிவுபரியந்தம் உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருப்பீர்களென்றால், கிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் பங்குள்ளவர்களாயிருப்பீர்கள்.
தேவன் நமது ஒரு செயலை மட்டும் பார்த்துத் தீர்ப்பிடுபவரல்ல, அவர் எதார்த்தத்தின்படி மக்களைத் தீர்ப்பிடுகின்றார். ஆம், "கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் அவருக்கு உகந்த வாசனையாயிருக்கும்; அவர் தமது கண் கண்டபடி நியாயந்தீர்க்காமலும், தமது காது கேட்டபடி தீர்ப்புச்செய்யாமலும், நீதியின்படி ஏழைகளை நியாயம்விசாரித்து, யதார்த்தத்தின்படி பூமியிலுள்ள சிறுமையானவர்களுக்குத் தீர்ப்புச்செய்து, பூமியைத் தமது வாக்கின் கோலால் அடித்து, தமது வாயின் சுவாசத்தால் துன்மார்க்கரைச் சங்கரிப்பார்." ( ஏசாயா 11: 3, 4)

“For we have become
partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until
the end.” — Hebrews 3:14
The faith we have in Christ
is not something to be preserved for a few days alone; it must be guarded until
the very end of our lives. Being born into a Christian family does not
automatically make us Christians. It is the personal knowledge of Christ and
the experience of being born again that truly transforms us into Christians.
Having become Christians by such faith, it is essential that we preserve that
faith until the end of our lives.
Without the personal
experience of knowing Christ and being born again, we would merely be religious
adherents—just as people of other faiths hold belief in their religions. Such
individuals are Christians in name only. It is rare for them to have firm faith
in Christ. These nominal Christians often run after other means and even other
“holy” figures for family problems or sickness. This reveals that they truly
have little or no faith in Christ.
Our faith in Christ must be
steadfast. Even if we preserve a small measure of faith, He will honour us.
Yes, what He expects from us is faith the size of a mustard seed.
“And the Lord said, ‘If you
had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, “Be
uprooted and be planted in the sea”; and it would obey you.’” — Luke 17:6
Furthermore, because we are
Christians, we may be hated by others; certain governmental benefits may even
be denied to us. Yet we cannot deny Christ for that reason. Concerning those
who follow Him, Jesus Christ said:
“You will be hated by all
because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” — Mark
13:13
Therefore, whether in joy or
in suffering, we must remain firm in our faith until the end.
When today’s meditation
verse speaks of “the beginning of our assurance,” it carries a deeper meaning.
It does not merely refer to turning away from Christ for worldly matters, but
to spiritual backsliding. Denying Christ in our spiritual life is far more
dangerous than any outward, worldly denial.
At times, members of our own
family—perhaps a husband or wife—may not grow in their spiritual walk with
Christ. For their sake, we may be compelled to do certain things that seem
contradictory. Even in such situations, though we may have to comply outwardly,
we must never turn away from Christ in our hearts. Just as Naaman, who came to
know the true God, sought permission from Elisha regarding entering the temple
of Rimmon,
“In this matter may the Lord
pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship
there… when I kneel in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon your servant in
this matter.” — 2 Kings 5:18.
Likewise, with God’s
understanding, we must ensure that our hearts remain directed toward the Lord.
Our God searches and knows
the hearts. Even before a word is on our tongue, He knows it completely.
Therefore, though our actions in spiritual living may at times appear
contradictory to the world, before God they may be righteous and proper.
Some who read this
meditation may have recently accepted Christ from another religion. In your
homes, things displeasing to Christ may take place. You may even be compelled
to participate in certain practices. Do not let your heart be troubled. If your
heart remains upright toward Christ, that is enough.
Yes, beloved, if you hold
firmly until the end the confidence you had at the beginning, you will become
partakers of Christ.
God does not judge merely by
a single outward act. He judges people according to truth and righteousness.
“And He will delight in the
fear of the Lord, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a
decision by what His ears hear; But with righteousness He will judge the poor,
and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; And He will strike the
earth with the rod of His mouth”. (Isaiya 11:3,4)
