 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1843

"பின்பு, அவர்கள் ஏரோதினிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போகவேண்டாமென்று சொப்பனத்தில் தேவனால் எச்சரிக்கப்பட்டு, வேறு வழியாய்த் தங்கள் தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 2: 12)

வாழ்க்கை மாற்றமே நாம் கிறிஸ்துவினிடம் நெருங்கிச் செல்ல முதன்மையான காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் மெய்யாகவே கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் கண்டுகொண்டோமானால் கிறிஸ்துவை சந்திக்குமுன் இருந்த நமது பழைய வாழ்க்கையை விட்டு முற்றிலும் மாறுபாடான ஒரு வாழ்க்கையை நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

கிறிஸ்துவை தரிசிக்க வந்த ஞானிகள் தவறுதலாக ஏரோதின் அரண்மனைக்குள் வந்துவிட்டனர். மேசியா எனும் உலக இரட்சகர் என்று கூறப்பட்டதால் அவர் ஒரு அரசகுமாரனாகத்தான் இருப்பார் என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கொண்டனர். ஆனால் அங்கு வந்தபின்னர்தான் அவர்களுக்குத் தங்களது தவறு புரிந்தது. ஆம், கிறிஸ்துவை நாடி வந்த அவர்கள் அதுவரை ஏரோதின் வழியில் தான் நடந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.  

ஏரோதின் அரண்மனையினை விட்டு வெளியேறியபோது அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவை சந்திக்கும் சரியான நேர்வழியில் பயணித்தனர்.  எனவே, "இதோ, அவர்கள் கிழக்கிலே கண்ட நட்சத்திரம் பிள்ளை இருந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குமேல் வந்து நிற்கும்வரைக்கும் அவர்களுக்குமுன் சென்றது. அவர்கள் அந்த நட்சத்திரத்தைக் கண்டபோது, மிகுந்த ஆனந்த சந்தோஷமடைந்தார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 2: 9, 10) அவர்கள் அந்த நட்சத்திரம் காட்டிய வழியில் வந்து இயேசுவைச் சந்தித்தனர். 

ஆனால் அதன்பின்னர், "ஏரோதினிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போகவேண்டாமென்று    சொப்பனத்தில் தேவனால் எச்சரிக்கப்பட்டு, வேறு வழியாய்த் தங்கள் தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள்" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவை சந்தித்தபின் நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பாதை மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம். நமது பயணம் புதிய வழியில் தொடரவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஏரோதின் பாதையிலிருந்து கிறிஸ்துவின் பாதைக்கு நாம் மாறவேண்டும்.

இன்று, "கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்துள்ளேன், இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளேன்" என்று பலரும் கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் அவர்களது ஆராதனை முறை மாறியிருக்கின்றதேத்  தவிர வாழ்க்கையில் எந்த மாறுதலையும் காணமுடிவதில்லை. நாம் வாழ்வில் கிறிஸ்துவை மெய்யாகவே சந்தித்துள்ளோமென்றால் நம்மைப் படைத்த அவருக்கு ஒப்பாக புதிய மனிதனாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம். "தன்னைச் சிருஷ்டித்தவருடைய சாயலுக்கொப்பாய்ப் பூரண அறிவடையும்படி புதிதாக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்களே." (கொலோசெயர் 3:10) என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

இதனையே ஞானிகளின் புதிய மாறுபட்ட வழிப்பயணம் நமக்கு விளக்குகின்றது. இப்படி, கிறிஸ்துவை சந்தித்தபின் நமது வாழ்க்கை மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம்; நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் சந்தித்து, புதிய மனிதனைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டு, புதிய பாதையில் நமது வாழ்வைத் தொடர வேண்டியது அவசியம். இப்படி நாம் நமது வாழ்க்கைப் பயணத்தைப் புதிய வழியில் திருப்புவோமென்றால் தேவன் நமக்கு வாழ்வில் புதிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வார். நமது வனாந்தர வாழ்க்கை மாறும். ஆறுகளும், செழிப்பும் நமது வாழ்வில் தோன்றும்.  "இதோ, நான் புதிய காரியத்தைச் செய்கிறேன்; இப்பொழுதே அது தோன்றும்; நீங்கள் அதை அறியீர்களா? நான் வனாந்தரத்திலே வழியையும், அவாந்தரவெளியிலே ஆறுகளையும் உண்டாக்குவேன்". (ஏசாயா 43:19) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

🔆AATHAVAN - Monday, 23.02.2026

“And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way.” — Gospel of Matthew 2:12

A transformed life is the primary evidence that we have drawn near to Christ. Not only that, if we have truly encountered Christ in our lives, it is essential that we completely leave behind the old life we lived before meeting Him and walk in a distinctly new way.

The magi who came to worship Christ mistakenly entered Herod’s palace. Since the Messiah was proclaimed as the Savior of the world, they assumed He would be found as a royal prince in a palace. Only after arriving did they realize their mistake. Yes, though they had come seeking Christ, until then they had been walking in Herod’s path.

When they departed from Herod’s palace, they journeyed on the right and straight path that would lead them to Christ.

“And after hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.” — Gospel of Matthew 2:9–10

Following the direction of the star, they came and met Jesus.

Afterward, however, as the Scripture says, they were warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, and they went back to their country by another way. Yes, beloved, after meeting Christ, our life’s path must change. Our journey must continue on a new way. We must turn from the path of Herod to the path of Christ.

Today, many say, “I have experienced Christ in my life; I am saved.” Yet apart from a change in their style of worship, little or no transformation is seen in their daily living. If we have truly encountered Christ in our lives, it is essential that we become new people, conformed to the image of our Creator.

“…and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.” — Epistle to the Colossians 3:10

This is what the magi’s new and different return journey teaches us. After meeting Christ, our life must change. Having encountered Him, we must put on the new self and continue our life’s journey on a new path.

If we turn our life’s journey into this new way, God will do new things in our lives. Our wilderness experience will be transformed. Rivers and fruitfulness will spring forth in our lives.

“Behold, I am going to do something new, now it will spring up; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” — Book of Isaiah 43:19
