 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1844

🔆 ஆதவன் 24.02.2026 செவ்வாய்        

"தேவனை அறியும் அறிவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க அவர்களுக்கு மனதில்லாதிருந்தபடியால், தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, தேவன் அவர்களைக் கேடான சிந்தைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்." ( ரோமர் 1: 28)   

தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியாமல் வாழ்வோமென்றால் நமது வாழ்வு பாவத்திற்கு அடிமையாகி நரக படுகுழிக்கு நேராகச் செல்வதாகவே இருக்கும். காரணம், நாம் தேவனை அறியவில்லையானால் தகாத செயல்களையேச் செய்கிறவர்களாக இருப்போம். நமது சிந்தையும் கேடான சிந்தையாகவே இருக்கும் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. 

பலரும் தங்கள் ஆலயங்களுக்குத் தவறாமல் செல்வதாலும், ஜெபிப்பதாலும், வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பதாலும் தேவனை அறிந்துவிட்டதாக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, இவை அனைத்தையும் வாழ்வில் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களும் செய்யமுடியும். ஆலய காரியங்களில் அதிக ஈடுபாடு கொண்ட பலர் சாட்சியற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதை நம்மில் பலரும்  கண்டிருக்கலாம். இப்படிப் பலரும் இருக்கக் காரணம், அவர்கள் தேவனை தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியாமல்  வெறும் பக்தி வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதால்தான். 

தேவனை அறிதல் என்பது அவரை வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்து ருசிக்கும் அனுபவம். இதனால்தான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், "கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்". (சங்கீதம் 34:8) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

தேவனை அறிதல் என்பது ஒரு குழந்தை தனது தாய் தகப்பனைத் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறிந்துகொள்வதுபோல தேவனையும் அவரது குணத்தையும் நமது வாழ்வில் அனுபவிப்பது. மேலும், தேவனை அறிதல் என்பது, வேதத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள தேவனது குணங்களையும், அவரது வல்லமையையும் நமது வாழ்வில் அனுபவபூர்வமாக உணர்ந்துகொள்வது.  

பார்வையற்ற ஒரு  மனிதன் பல்வேறு நிறங்களின் பெயர்களைத் தெரிந்திருக்கலாம். சிகப்பு, நீலம், பச்சை, மஞ்சள் என நிறங்களின் பெயரை அவன் அறிந்திருக்கலாம், ஆனால் இப்படி பெயரை அறிவது நிறங்களை அறிவதாகாது.   பார்வையற்ற மனிதனுக்கு இந்த நிறங்களின் உண்மையான மகிமை, அவற்றின் அழகு இவை புரியாது. இதுபோலவே, வேதாகமத்தை வாசிப்பதன்மூலம் நாம், தேவன் அன்பானவர், இரக்கமுள்ளவர், நீடிய சாந்தமுள்ளவர், வல்லமையும் பராக்கிரமம் உள்ளவர் என்று மட்டும் அறியலாம். இந்த தேவ வல்லமைகளை தங்கள் வாழ்வில் அறிந்துகொண்ட மனிதர்களைக் குறித்து அறிந்து கொள்ளலாம். 

ஆனால், இவை எதனையும் நாம் சொந்த வாழ்வில் நாம் அனுபவிக்கவில்லையானால் நாம் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களே. இப்படி, "தேவனை அறியும் அறிவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க அவர்களுக்கு மனதில்லாதிருந்தபடியால், தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, தேவன் அவர்களைக் கேடான சிந்தைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, தேவனை நாம் அறியவில்லையானால் வேதாகமத்தை வாசித்து, ஜெபித்து வந்தாலும் நமது சிந்தை புதியதாக மாறமுடியாது; உள்ளான மனிதன் மாற முடியாது; நமது சிந்தையும் கேடான சிந்தையாகவே இருக்கும். 

இந்தக் கேடான சிந்தை ஒரு மனிதனை எந்தவித பாவங்களைச் செய்யத் தூண்டுகின்றது என்பதனை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து ரோமர் 1: 29 - 31 வரை விளக்குகின்றார். அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த வசனங்களைக் கவனமாக வாசித்துப் பாருங்கள். இந்தப் பாவக்குணங்கள் நம்மைவிட்டு அகலவேண்டுமானால் நாம் வாழ்வில் தேவனை அறியவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, "இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைச் செய்கிறவர்கள் மரணத்திற்குப் பாத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்களென்று தேவன் தீர்மானித்த நீதியான தீர்ப்பை அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்தும், அவைகளைத் தாங்களே செய்கிறதுமல்லாமல், அவைகளைச் செய்கிற மற்றவர்களிடத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்களுமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்". (ரோமர் 1: 32)

தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் இந்தப்பாவ குணங்களிலிருந்து விடுபட முடியும். இந்தப் பாவங்களுக்கு காரணமான மனிதர்களையும்  பழைய பாவ வாழ்க்கை நண்பர்களையும் விட்டு நாம் விலக முடியும். காரணம், ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போதுதான்  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அறியமுடியும். இப்படி தேவனை அறியும் அறிவைப் நாம் பற்றிக்கொள்ள மனதில்லாமல் இருப்போமானால் தேவன் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டுவிடுவார்; தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, கேடான சிந்தைக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்துவிடுவார். 

எனவே, கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். "ஆண்டவரே, நான் எனது வாழ்வில்  உம்மை அறிய விரும்புகின்றேன், அதற்குத் தடையாக இருக்கும் எனது பாவங்களை உமது பரிசுத்த இரத்தத்தால் கழுவி சுத்திகரியும். என்னை உமது பிள்ளையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்" என்று மன்றாடுவோம். அப்போது  தன்னை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார். "கேட்கிற எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறான்" என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

“And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.” — Romans 1:28

If we choose to live without truly knowing God in our lives, our life will inevitably become enslaved to sin and move straight toward destruction. The reason is clear: when we do not know God, we become people who practice improper deeds. Our thinking itself becomes corrupted. Today’s meditation verse clearly teaches us this truth.

Many assume that they know God because they regularly attend church, pray, and read the Bible. But beloved, even those who do not truly know God can do all these things. We have often seen people who are deeply involved in church activities yet live without a genuine testimony. The reason is this: they live a merely religious life without personally knowing God.

To know God means to experience Him and taste Him in our daily lives. That is why the psalmist says:

“Taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” — Psalm 34:8

Knowing God is like a child personally knowing his father and mother—experiencing their love and character firsthand. In the same way, we are called to experience God and His attributes in our own lives. To know God is not merely to read about His character and power in Scripture, but to experience those realities personally.

A blind man may know the names of colours—red, blue, green, yellow. Yet knowing their names does not mean he understands their beauty or glory. He cannot perceive their true splendour. Similarly, by reading the Bible we may intellectually know that God is loving, merciful, patient, powerful, and mighty. We may also read about people who experienced His power in their lives.

But if we have not experienced these truths in our own lives, we do not truly know God.

Therefore today’s meditation verse declares:

“And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.”
— Romans 1:28

This means that if we do not truly know God, even though we read the Bible and pray, our minds will not be renewed. The inner person will not be transformed. Our thinking will remain corrupted.

The apostle Paul the Apostle explains what such a depraved mind produces in Romans 1:29–31—a list of sinful characteristics. Beloved, read those verses carefully. If these sinful traits are to depart from us, it is essential that we truly know God in our lives.

Moreover, Scripture says:

“Although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.” — Romans 1:32

Only when the Spirit of God comes into us can we be delivered from these sinful traits. Only then can we separate ourselves from the people who lead us into sin and from the friends of our old sinful life. For it is only when the Holy Spirit dwells within us that we are able to know Christ in our lives.

But if we are unwilling to hold on to the knowledge of God and choose not to know Him, God will give us over—He will hand us over to a depraved mind, allowing us to do what ought not to be done.

Therefore, let us surrender ourselves to Christ. Let us pray, “Lord, I desire to know You in my life. Cleanse and purify, by Your holy blood, the sins that stand as a barrier to knowing You. Receive me as Your child.” When we pray so, He will reveal Himself to us. For the Lord God says, “Everyone who asks receives.”
