📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண் 1832

🔆 ஆதவன் 12.02.2026 வியாழன்  

"மறுநாள் மோசே சாட்சியின் கூடாரத்துக்குள் பிரவேசித்தபோது, இதோ, லேவியின் குடுப்பத்தாருக்கு இருந்த ஆரோனின் கோல் துளிர்த்திருந்தது; அது துளிர்விட்டு, பூப்பூத்து, வாதுமைப் பழங்களைக் கொடுத்தது." ( எண்ணாகமம் 17: 8)

நமது தேவன் அதிசயமான முறையில் தான் தெரிந்துகொள்பவர்களை நடத்துபவர். மனித அறிவுக்கும் கற்பனைக்கும் எட்டாத அதிசயங்களை செய்து தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழ்பவர்களை அவர் மற்றவர்களிலிருந்து வேறுபிரித்துக் காட்டுகின்றார்;  உயர்த்துகின்றார். 

தேவனே மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மத்தியில் உயர்த்தி அவர்கள்மூலம் அவர்களை எகிப்தியரின் கைகளுக்கு விடுவிக்கத்  திட்டம்கொண்டார். ஆனால், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் தங்களாகத் தங்களை உயர்த்தி மற்றவர்களுக்குத் தங்களைத் தலைவர்களாக ஏற்படுத்த முயல்வதாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டனர். தேவனது கட்டளையின்படியே மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் செயல்பட்டனர் என்பதை அவர்கள் நம்பவில்லை. எனவே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கூட்டத்தார் மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் விரோதமாக முறுமுறுத்தார்கள். 

அப்போது கர்த்தர் மோசேயிடம்,  இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரத்துத் தலைவர்கள் பன்னிரண்டுபேரிடமும் ஆளுக்கொரு கோலை கொண்டுவரச்செய்து அதில் அவர்களது பெயரை  எழுதவும், லேவி கோத்திரத்துக்குரிய கோலில் ஆரோனின் பெயரை எழுதி கர்த்தரது சமூகத்தில் வைக்கவும் சொன்னார். "அப்பொழுது நான் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறவனுடைய கோல் துளிர்க்கும்; இப்படி இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் முறுமுறுக்கிற அவர்கள் முறுமுறுப்பை என்னைவிட்டு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன் என்றார்." ( எண்ணாகமம் 17: 5) என்றார்.

மோசே அப்படியே செய்தான். அந்த ஒரே இரவில் அற்புதம் நிகழ்ந்தது. லேவியின் குடுப்பத்தாருக்கு இருந்த ஆரோனின் கோல் துளிர்த்திருந்தது; அது துளிர்விட்டு, பூப்பூத்து, வாதுமைப் பழங்களைக் கொடுத்தது.

இன்று தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் நம்மையும் இதுபோல பல்வேறு பிரச்சனைகள், எதிர்ப்புகள்,  தோல்விகள், துன்பங்கள் நெருக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கலாம். நமது அற்பமான நிலைமையினைக்கண்டு சுற்றத்தாரும் நண்பர்களும் "தேவனையே நம்பி வாழ்கின்றாய் என்றால் உனக்கு ஏன் இத்தனைத் துன்பங்கள்? உன்னைவிட நாங்கள் நன்றாகத்தானே இருக்கின்றோம்? நீ ஏன் உன்னைப் பரிசுத்தவான்போலக் காண்பிக்கின்றாய்? என்று நேரடியாகக் கூறலாம், அல்லது மனதினில் நினைக்கலாம். இவர்கள்தான் நமது வாழ்வில் ஆரோனுக்கு எதிராக முறுமுறுத்தவர்களைப்   போன்றவர்கள். 

ஆம், இன்று  ஆரோனின் கையிலிருந்த காய்ந்த கோலைப்போல நமது வாழ்க்கை இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் காய்ந்த கோலையும் தேவனால் உயிர்ப்பிக்க முடியும்.  நமது வாழ்வில் ஒரு மாற்றத்தைக் கொண்டுவரவும், நமது எந்த நோயையும் பிரச்சனைகளையும் மாற்றிடவும் தேவனுக்கு அதிக நாட்களோ நேரமோ தேவையில்லை. காய்ந்துபோல ஒரு மரக்கோலை  ஒரே இரவில் துளிர்த்து, பூத்து, காய்த்து கனிகளைக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாக  மாற்ற தேவனால் கூடுமென்றால் காய்ந்து பட்டுப்போன நமது வாழ்வையும் அவரால் ஒரே நொடியில் மாற்றிட முடியும். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கூட்டத்தார்முன் மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் உயர்த்தப்பட்டதுபோல நம்மையும் அவர் உயர்த்துவார். 

ஆனால் நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது ஒன்று உண்டு. மோசே உலர்ந்துபோன கோலை தேவ சமூகத்தில் வைத்ததுபோல நமது உலர்ந்த வாழ்வையும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சமூகத்தில் ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம். மறுநாள்வரைக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

மனிதர்களாகிய நமக்குத்தான் காலமும் நேரமும். தேவனோ காலங்களைக் கடந்தவர். நமது விசுவாசம் தளர்ந்திடாமல் இருப்போம் என்றால் ஆரோனின் கோல் துளிர்த்து,  பூப்பூத்து, வாதுமைப் பழங்களைக் கொடுத்ததுபோல தேவன் நமது வறண்டுபோன வாழ்க்கையிலும் பழங்களைக் காணச்செய்வார். அதற்கு முதலில் நமது வாழ்வை அவருக்குமுன் ஒப்படைப்போம்.

“Now on the next day Moses entered the tent of the testimony, and behold, Aaron’s staff for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.” — Numbers 17:8

Our God is One who leads those He has chosen in extraordinary ways. By performing wonders beyond human understanding and imagination, He sets apart and lifts up those who live lives pleasing to Him, distinguishing them from others.

It was God Himself who exalted Moses and Aaron among the people of Israel and chose to deliver them from the hands of the Egyptians through them. However, the Israelites assumed that Moses and Aaron had exalted themselves and were trying to establish themselves as leaders over others. They failed to believe that Moses and Aaron were acting strictly according to the command of God. As a result, the congregation of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron.

At that time, the Lord said to Moses that he should collect one staff from each of the twelve tribal leaders of Israel, write each man’s name on his staff, and write Aaron’s name on the staff of the tribe of Levi. These staffs were to be placed before the Lord in the Tent of Meeting. Then the Lord said:

“It will come about that the staff of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus, I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you.” — Numbers 17:5

Moses did exactly as the Lord commanded. And in just one night, a miracle took place. The staff belonging to Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted; it had budded, blossomed, and produced almonds.

Even today, those of us who desire to live a life pleasing to God may find ourselves surrounded by many problems—opposition, failures, suffering, and distress. Looking at our seemingly insignificant condition, relatives and friends may say openly, “If you truly trust God, why are you facing so many troubles? Aren’t we doing better than you? Why do you try to appear so holy?” Or they may think these things silently in their hearts. Such people are like those who grumbled against Aaron in our lives.

Yes, today our lives may resemble Aaron’s dry staff. But even a dry staff can be brought to life by God. To bring transformation into our lives, or to change any disease or problem we face, God does not need many days or much time. If God could cause a dry wooden staff to sprout, blossom, and bear fruit overnight, then surely, He can transform our dried-up lives in a single moment. Just as Moses and Aaron were exalted before the congregation of Israel, God will also lift us up in due time.

However, there is one thing we must do. Just as Moses placed the dried staff in the presence of God, we must place our dry and weary lives into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must be willing to wait until the next day.

Time and seasons belong to us as human beings, but God is beyond time. If our faith does not fail, then just as Aaron’s staff sprouted, blossomed, and bore almonds, God will cause fruit to appear even in our barren lives. Therefore, let us first surrender our lives completely before Him.
