நினைவுகூருகின்ற தேவன் / The God who remembers

 'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 04, 2024. 💚புதன்கிழமை              வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,396

"உங்கள் கிரியையையும், நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்ததினாலும் செய்து வருகிறதினாலும் தமது நாமத்திற்காகக் காண்பித்த அன்புள்ள பிரயாசத்தையும் மறந்துவிடுகிறதற்கு தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்லவே." ( எபிரெயர் 6: 10)

தேவன் நமது பாவங்கள், துன்பங்கள், கண்ணீர்கள் அனைத்தையும் பார்க்கின்றார். நமது ஜெபங்களைக் கேட்கின்றார். ஆனால் அவற்றைமட்டுமல்ல, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் சொல்கின்றது, நாம் அவரது பரிசுத்த ஊழியர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் உதவிகள், தேவனது பெயரை உயர்த்துவதற்காக நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்துச் செயல்களையும் அவர் பார்க்கின்றார்; அவற்றை மறந்துவிட அவர் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல.

இந்த உலகத்தில் சிலருக்கு நாம் உதவிகள் செய்யும்போது அவர்கள் சிலவேளைகளில் அவற்றை மறந்துவிடுவதுண்டு. சிலர் தங்களது வாழ்க்கைத் தகுதிநிலை  உயர்வடையும்போது தங்களுக்கு உதவியவர்களை மறந்துவிடுவதுண்டு. அப்படி உதவி பெற்றதை வெளியில் சொன்னால் தங்களுக்கு அது அவமானம் என்றும் எண்ணுகின்றனர். ஆனால் நமது உதவி தேவனுக்குத் தேவை இல்லையெனினும் நாம் அவருக்காக அன்புடன் செய்யும் செயல்களை அவர் மறந்துவிடுவதில்லை.  

தாங்கள் தேவனுக்கேற்ற செயல்கள் செய்ததை தங்கள் ஜெபத்தில் சொல்லி சிலர் ஜெபிப்பதை நாம் வேதத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம்.  நான் தேவனுக்காக செய்த வேலைகளில் எந்த அநியாய வருமானத்தையும் ஈட்டவில்லை என்று நெகேமியா ஜெபிப்பதைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். எனவே அவர் "என் தேவனே, நான் இந்த ஜனத்துக்காகச் செய்த எல்லாவற்றின்படியும் எனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாக என்னை நினைத்தருளும்." ( நெகேமியா 5: 19) என ஜெபிக்கின்றார்.  

எசேக்கியா ராஜாவும் இப்படி விண்ணப்பம் செய்வதை நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். "ஆ கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையும் மனஉத்தமமுமாய் நடந்து, உமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதைச் செய்தேன் என்பதை நினைத்தருளும் என்று விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணினான்." (2 இராஜாக்கள் 20: 3) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது செயல்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவையாக இருக்குமானால் இந்தப் பரிசுத்தவான்களைப்போல நாமும் தைரியமாகத் தேவனிடம் அது குறித்துத் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் நமது ஜெபங்களில் பேசலாம். தமது நாமத்திற்காக நாம் காண்பித்த அன்புள்ள பிரயாசத்தை மறந்துவிடுகிறதற்கு தேவன் அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல.

நமது தேவன் நினைவுகூருகின்ற தேவன். ஆபிரகாமை நினைவுகூர்ந்த தேவன் அவர் நிமித்தம் லோத்துவைக் காப்பாற்றினார் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. நோவாவை நினைவுகூர்ந்து தண்ணீரை வற்றச்செய்தார். அன்னாளை நினைவுகூர்ந்து சாமுவேலை மகனாகக் கொடுத்தார். 

ஆனால் நாம் தேவனுக்காகச் செய்த செயல்களை எல்லா மக்களிடமும் சொல்லவேண்டியதில்லை. அப்படிச் சொல்வது  நமது  மனதின் பெருமையினையே காட்டும்.  பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தேவன் எதிர்த்து நிற்கின்றார் என்று வேதம் கூறவில்லையா? நமது செயல்கள் அனைத்தையும் தேவன் ஏற்கெனவே அறிந்திருக்கின்றார். அவற்றை மற்றவர்கள் அறிந்து நம்மைப் புகழ வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. 

தேவனுக்காக நாம் செய்த நமது நல்ல செயல்களை நாம் எடுத்துக் கூறினாலும் கூறாவிட்டாலும் தேவன் அவற்றை மறந்துவிட அநீதியுள்ளவரல்ல. நமது செயல்களுக்கேற்ற பலனை நிச்சயம் தருவார். தேவனை மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்தும் செயல்களில் ஈடுபடுவோம்.

"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." (Hebrews 6:10)

God sees all our sins, sorrows, and tears. He listens to our prayers. However, today’s meditation verse highlights something more: God observes the help we extend to His holy servants and the deeds we do to glorify His name. He is not unrighteous to forget these acts of love and devotion.

In this world, some people may forget the help they have received. When their social or financial status improves, they might even avoid acknowledging those who supported them, fearing it could tarnish their image. But our God, though not dependent on our help, never forgets the acts of love we perform for His sake.

The Bible records the prayers of those who reminded God of their righteous deeds. Nehemiah, for example, boldly prayed about his works, saying, “Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.” (Nehemiah 5:19).

Similarly, King Hezekiah prayed with confidence, “I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight.” (2 Kings 20:3).

Dearly beloved, If our deeds are pleasing to God, like these saints, we too can boldly mention them in our personal prayers. God is not unrighteous to forget the labour of love we show for His name.

Our God is a God who remembers. The Bible tells us He remembered Abraham and saved Lot for his sake. He remembered Noah and caused the floodwaters to recede. He remembered Hannah and blessed her with a son, Samuel.

Yet, it is not necessary for us to proclaim our good deeds to everyone. Doing so often stems from pride, and the Bible warns that “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” (James 4:6). God already knows all that we have done for Him, and it is unnecessary for others to acknowledge or praise us.

Whether we mention our good deeds or not, God, who sees everything, will not forget them. He will reward us according to our works. Let us strive to engage in actions that bring joy to God.
