 'ஆதவன்' 💚டிசம்பர் 03, 2024. செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை    வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,395

"அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர்: நீங்களும் வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்களா?...................... வேதத்தை அறியாதவர்களாகிய இந்த ஜனங்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்றார்கள்." ( யோவான் 7: 47 மற்றும்  49)

வேதாகமத்தைக் கற்று அறிவது என்பது வேறு,  தேவனைத் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அறிவது என்பது வேறு. வேதாகமத்தை ஒருவர் அறிந்திருப்பதால் மட்டும் நாம் அவரைத் தேவனை அறிந்தவர் என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. பலர் வேதாகமத்தை ஆய்வுசெய்து பல்வேறு தலைப்புகளில் கட்டுரைகள் சமர்ப்பித்து முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்றுள்ளனர். ஆனால் அவர்களில் பலரும் தேவனைப்பற்றிய தனிப்பட்ட அறிவோ தேவனோடுள்ள உடனிருப்பையோ அறிந்தவர்களல்ல.

பரிசேயரும் பிரதான ஆசாரியரும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு வருமாறு சேவகர்களை  அனுப்பிவைத்தனர்.  அந்தச் சேவகர்கள் கைதுசெய்ய சென்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளைக் கேட்டு அவரைக் கைதுசெய்யாமல் தங்களை அனுப்பிய பரிசேயரிடம் திரும்பிவந்து, "அந்த மனிதன் பேசுவதுபோல இதுவரை ஒருவனும் பேசியதில்லை" என்கின்றனர். அதாவது அவர்கள் இயேசுவின் போதனையால் மனதுக்குள் மாற்றமடைந்தனர். அப்போது பரிசேயர்கள் கோபத்துடன் அந்தச் சேவகர்களைப்பார்த்து, "நீங்களும் வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்களா?..................வேதத்தை அறியாதவர்களாகிய இந்த ஜனங்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்றார்கள்." 

பிரதான ஆசாரியரும் பரிசேயர்களும் வேதத்தை நன்றாகக் கற்றவர்கள். அவர்களுக்குத் தங்களது வேத அறிவைக் குறித்தப்  பெருமை இருந்தது. ஆனால் அந்த வேத அறிவால் அவர்களால் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியவில்லை. ஆனால் பாமரமக்கள் இயேசுவை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர். எனவே, வேதத்தைப்  படிக்காத மக்கள்தான் இயேசுவையும் அவரது போதனைகளையும் விசுவாசிப்பார்கள் என்று அவர்கள் கோபத்தில் கூறுகின்றனர். வேதத்தை அறியாதவர்களாகிய இந்த ஜனங்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று சபிக்கின்றனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பரிசேயர்களைப்போல நாம் வேதாகமத்தை வெறுமனே வாசிப்பது மட்டும் போதாது. அவரை அறிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வத்தில் ஆவியானவரின் துணையோடு வேதாகமத்தை நாம்  வாசிக்கவேண்டும்.  சாதாரண புத்தகத்தை வாசிப்பதுபோல வாசிப்போமானால் சுவிசேஷத்தின் ஒளி நமக்குள் பிரகாசிக்கமுடியாது. காரணம் இந்த உலகத்தின் அதிபதியாகிய சாத்தான் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளி நம்மில் பிரகாசிக்கமுடியாதபடி நமது மனக் கண்களைக் குருடாக்கிவிடுவான். 

இதனையே "தேவனுடைய சாயலாயிருக்கிற கிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமையான சுவிசேஷத்தின் ஒளி, அவிசுவாசிகளாகிய அவர்களுக்குப் பிரகாசமாயிராதபடிக்கு, இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் தேவனானவன் அவர்களுடைய மனதைக் குருடாக்கினான்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 4: 4) என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். 

வேதாகமக்  கல்வியறிவு  பெற்றவர்கள் எல்லாம் தேவனை அறிந்தவர்களுமல்ல; வேத அறிவு அதிகம் இல்லாதவர்கள் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களுமல்ல. மூளை அறிவினால் தேவனை அறியமுடியாது; தாழ்மையான மனமும் தேவனை அறியும் ஆர்வமுமே ஒருவரை தேவனை அறியச்செய்யும். தாழ்மையான உள்ளத்துடன் கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம்; தேவனை அறியும் அறிவில் வளருவோம்.

"Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? … But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed." (John 7:47, 49)

Learning the Scriptures is one thing, but knowing God personally is another. Merely possessing knowledge of the Bible does not mean someone truly knows God. Many have studied the Scriptures extensively, written essays, and earned doctorates in theology, yet some among them lack personal knowledge of God or a close walk with Him.

The Pharisees and chief priests sent officers to arrest Jesus. However, when the officers heard His teachings, they returned without arresting Him and said, “Never man spake like this man” (John 7:46). They were deeply moved by Jesus’ words. In response, the Pharisees angrily questioned, “Are ye also deceived?” and went on to declare, “But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.”

The chief priests and Pharisees were highly knowledgeable in the Scriptures and took pride in their understanding. However, their knowledge did not lead them to recognize Christ. On the other hand, ordinary people, though less learned, believed in and accepted Jesus. The Pharisees, in their arrogance, cursed the common people, accusing them of being ignorant and accursed because they believed in Christ.

Dearly beloved, It is not enough to merely read the Bible like the Pharisees did. We must read with a desire to know God, relying on the Holy Spirit’s guidance. If we approach the Bible as just another book, the light of the Gospel will not shine within us. The god of this world, Satan, blinds the minds of people so they cannot perceive the light of Christ’s glory.

As Paul says: "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Not all who possess biblical knowledge truly know God, and not all who lack theological training are ignorant of Him. Knowing God requires humility and a heartfelt desire to seek Him, not just intellectual pursuit. With a humble heart, let us accept the words of Christ and grow in the knowledge of God.
