Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 7: 19 / Hebrews 7:19

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,456

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 02, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது ஒன்றையும் பூரணப்படுத்தவில்லை, அதிக நன்மையான நம்பிக்கையை வருவிப்பதோ பூரணப்படுத்துகிறது; அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 7: 19)

மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழவும் இறுதியில் நிலைவாழ்வு எனும் நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவும் தேவன் என்றுமே விரும்புகின்றார். இதற்காகவே அவர் மோசே வழியாகப்  பல்வேறு கட்டளைகளை மனிதர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து வழிநடத்தினார். இவைகளையே நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகள் என்கின்றோம்.

ஆனால் தேவன் அருளிய பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளால்  மனிதர்களைப் பூரணப்படுத்தித் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக மாற்றிட முடியவில்லை. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது ஒன்றையும் பூரணப்படுத்தவில்லை, அதிக நன்மையான நம்பிக்கையை வருவிப்பதோ பூரணப்படுத்துகிறது; அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்." என்று கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளல்ல, மாறாக கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் நம்பிக்கையே நம்மை விடுதலையாகி தேவனிடத்தில் கொண்டு சேர்க்கின்றது. 

நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகள் எது பாவம், எது பாவமல்ல என்று எடுத்துகூறுமேத்தவிர அவை நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை அளிக்க உதவாது.  இதனைச் சரிப்படுத்தவே புதிய உடன்படிக்கையினை தனது இரத்தத்தின்மூலம் கிறிஸ்து ஏற்படுத்தினார். இதற்காகவே அவர் பூமியில் மனிதனாக வந்தார். இதனை நாம் ரோமர் நிருபத்தில், "அதெப்படியெனில், மாம்சத்தினாலே பலவீனமாயிருந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யக்கூடாததை தேவனே செய்யும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவமாம்சத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, மாம்சத்திலே பாவத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்." ( ரோமர் 8: 3) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்து தனது மேலான கிருபையினால் உண்டாக்கிய மீட்பினை நாம் விருதாவாக (வீணான ஒன்றாக) எண்ணிவிடக்கூடாது. நியாயப்பிரமாணக் கட்டளைகளே போதுமென்றால் கிறிஸ்து பாடுபட்டு மரித்தது வீணான காரியமாக இருக்கும். "நான் தேவனுடைய கிருபையை விருதாவாக்குகிறதில்லை; நீதியானது நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினாலே வருமானால் கிறிஸ்து மரித்தது வீணாயிருக்குமே." ( கலாத்தியர் 2: 21) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.

நியாயப்பிரமாணம் சுய நீதியை உண்டாக்குகின்றது; கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமோ தேவ நீதிக்கு நேராக நம்மை நடத்துகின்றது.   எனவே கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதால் மட்டும் நாம் நம்மை நீதிமான்களாக எண்ண  முடியாது. அப்படி எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த பரிசேயர்களைப்போலவே நாமும் இருப்போம். எனவே, கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் முழு விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். 

"நான் கிறிஸ்துவை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வருகிற சுயநீதியை உடையவனாயிராமல், கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் வருகிறதும் விசுவாசமூலமாய் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறதுமான நீதியை உடையவனாயிருந்து, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் இருக்கிறவனென்று காணப்படும்படிக்கும்...."( பிலிப்பியர் 3: 9) எனத் தொடர்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். நாம் கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பதாலல்ல மாறாக நம்பிக்கையினாலே தேவனிடத்தில் சேருகிறோம்.

"For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." (Hebrews 7:19, KJV)

As human beings, God desires that we live in a manner pleasing to Him and ultimately attain eternal life, which is everlasting. For this purpose, He gave various commandments through Moses to guide humanity. These are what we refer to as the commandments of the law.

However, the commandments of the Old Testament law, given by God, could not perfect humanity or make them acceptable to God. This is precisely what today’s meditation verse states: "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." In other words, it is not the commandments of the law but our faith in Christ Jesus that sets us free and brings us to God.

The commandments of the law reveal what is sin and what is not, but they cannot deliver us from sin. To address this, Christ established a new covenant through His blood. For this very purpose, He came to earth as a man. As we read in the book of Romans: "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh." (Romans 8:3, KJV)

Yes, dear friends, we must not consider the salvation Christ has graciously provided as something trivial. If the commandments of the law were sufficient, then Christ’s suffering and death would have been in vain. The apostle Paul says, "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." (Galatians 2:21, KJV)

The law produces self-righteousness, but faith in Christ leads us to God’s righteousness. Therefore, we cannot consider ourselves righteous merely by obeying commandments. If we live with such a mindset, we will be like the Pharisees of Jesus’ time. Instead, let us live as those who have complete faith in Christ.

Paul the apostle continues: "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith." (Philippians 3:9, KJV) It is not by obeying commandments but by faith that we draw near to God.
