Meditation Verse - ஏசாயா 60:2 / Isaiah 60:2

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,462

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 08, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"இதோ, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் காணப்படும்." ( ஏசாயா 60:2)

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்வு வாழ்வோமானால் இக்கட்டுக்காலங்களில் நிச்சயமாக அவர் நமக்கு உதவிசெய்திடுவார். இந்த மொத்த உலகமும் இருளான நிலைக்குச் சென்றாலும் தேவபிள்ளைகளுக்கு மகிமையான ஒளியான வாழ்க்கை உண்டு. அதனையே, "இதோ, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை உன்மேல் காணப்படும்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.

இந்த உலகத்தில் செழிப்புடன் வாழும் சிலரை நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய கண்களோடு பார்க்கும்போது அவர்களது ஏழ்மைநிலை நமக்கு விளங்கும். அதுபோல,  உலக வாழ்க்கையில் செழிப்பு இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதுபோலத் தெரியும் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்கள் உண்மையில் செழிப்பானவர்களாக இருப்பதையும் நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். இதனை நாம் குறிப்பாகத் துன்ப காலங்களில் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.

எகித்திலிருந்து விடுதலையான இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை மோசே கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்தியபோது பார்வோனின் குதிரை வீரர்கள் அவர்களை அழிப்பதற்காகப் பின்தொடர்ந்து வந்தனர். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அற்பமானவர்களாக இருந்தனர். அவர்களுக்குப் போர்ப்  பயிற்சியோ போர்செய்ய ஆயுதங்களோ இல்லை. ஆனால் தேவன் அவர்களோடு இருந்தார். அப்போது தேவனுடைய தூதன்  அக்கினித்தூணாகவும் மேகத் தூணாகவும் இருந்து இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களைக் காவல்காத்தார்.  எகிப்தியர் இஸ்ரவேலரை நெருங்கியபோது கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பின்னாக வந்து நின்று அவர்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டார்.

இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடும்; ஆனாலும் உன்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார் எனும் வார்த்தையின்படி, "அது எகிப்தியரின் சேனையும் இஸ்ரவேலரின் சேனையும் இராமுழுவதும் ஒன்றோடொன்று சேராதபடி அவைகள் நடுவில் வந்தது; எகிப்தியருக்கு அது மேகமும் அந்தகாரமுமாய் இருந்தது, இஸ்ரவேலருக்கோ அது இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்கிற்று." ( யாத்திராகமம் 14: 20) ஆம், எகிப்தியருக்கு இருளாக இருந்தபோது தேவனுடைய மக்கள் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடந்தனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவன் தனது பிள்ளைகளை எப்போதும் கைவிடுவதில்லை. காரிருள்போல வாழ்க்கைத் தெரிந்தாலும் இஸ்ரவேலரைக் காப்பாற்ற அக்கினித்தூணாக நின்று தேவனுடைய தூதன் காத்ததுபோல நம்மையும் காத்துக்கொள்வார். எனவே, தேவனுக்குமுன் உத்தமமாக நடக்கும்போது நாம் அச்சப்படாத தேவையில்லை. 

இதுபோல, ஈசாக்கை அற்பமாக எண்ணிய அபிமெலெக்கும் அவனோடிருந்தவர்களும் ஈசாக்கினிடம் வந்து, "நிச்சயமாய் கர்த்தர் உம்மோடேகூட இருக்கிறார் என்று கண்டோம்; ஆகையால் எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் ஒரு ஆணை ஏற்பாடு உண்டாகவேண்டும் என்று நாங்கள் நிர்ணயம் பண்ணினோம்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 26: 28) என்று  கூறுமளவுக்கு தேவன் தான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஈசாக்கை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். ஆம், உண்மையான உத்தமமான வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நம்மோடு தேவன் இருப்பதை ஒருநாள் உலகம் கண்டுகொள்ளும்.

தேவனுக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழும்படி நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது, இருள் பூமியையும், காரிருள் ஜனங்களையும் மூடினாலும் நம்மேல் கர்த்தர் உதிப்பார்; அவருடைய மகிமை நம்மேல் காணப்படும்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,462

AATHAVAN 💚 February 08, 2025 - Saturday

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isaiah 60:2, KJV)

If we live a life pleasing to God in this world, He will surely help us in times of distress. Even if the entire world is engulfed in darkness, God's children will have a glorious and radiant life. This is exactly what today's meditation verse says:

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isaiah 60:2, KJV)

When we look at some prosperous people in this world through spiritual eyes, we can perceive their spiritual poverty. Similarly, those who seem to lack worldly wealth may actually be spiritually rich. This becomes especially evident during times of tribulation.

When Moses led the Israelites from Egypt toward Canaan, Pharaoh’s chariots pursued them to destroy them. The Israelites were weak; they had no military training or weapons to fight. But God was with them. At that moment, the angel of the Lord stood as a pillar of fire and a cloud to protect them. When the Egyptians drew near, the angel of God moved behind the Israelites and shielded them.

As the scripture says: "And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night." (Exodus 14:20, KJV)

Yes! While the Egyptians were in darkness, God's people walked in the light.

Dear beloved, God never forsakes His children. Even when life seems as dark as night, just as He stood as a pillar of fire to protect the Israelites, He will also guard us. Therefore, when we walk righteously before God, we need not fear.

Similarly, when Abimelech and his people, who once despised Isaac, came to him, they said: "We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee." (Genesis 26:28, KJV)

Yes, God blessed Isaac to such an extent that even the world recognized His presence with him. Likewise, when we live a truly righteous life, one day the world will see that God is with us.

Let us surrender ourselves to live a life that pleases God. Then, even if darkness covers the earth and thick darkness surrounds the people, the LORD will arise upon us, and His glory will be seen upon us!
