Meditation Verse - லுூக்கா 12: 49 / Luke 12:49

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 06, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியைப் போடவந்தேன், அது இப்பொழுதே பற்றி எரியவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 49)

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வேதம் அக்கினி, அதாவது நெருப்புக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றது. அந்த நெருப்பினை கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் பெற்று உயிர்த்துடிப்புடன் ஆவியில் அனலாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம், ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமை நம்முள் அக்கினியாக இருந்து செயல்படும்போதுதான் நாம் உலகத்தின் பாவ அசுத்தங்களை உதறித்தள்ளி ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முன்னேறமுடியும்.  

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து "பூமியின்மேல் அக்கினியைப் போடவந்தேன், அது இப்பொழுதே பற்றி எரியவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். அவர் பூமியில் மனிதனாக வந்ததன் நோக்கமே நம்மைப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து மீட்டு இரட்சிக்கத்தான். எனவே, பாவத்தைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் எனும் அக்கினி உலகினில் பற்றியெரியவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். 

யோவான் ஸ்நானகன், "நான் ஜலத்தினால் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானங் கொடுக்கிறேன், என்னிலும் வல்லவர் ஒருவர் வருகிறார், அவருடைய பாதரட்சைகளின் வாரை அவிழ்க்கிறதற்கும் நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல, அவர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலும் அக்கினியினாலும் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானங்கொடுப்பார்." ( லுூக்கா 3: 16) என்று கூறினார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அக்கினி அபிஷேகம் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மிகவும் அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் தேவனுக்கேற்ற வெற்றிகரமான வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மரித்து உயிர்த்து பரலோகம் சென்றபின்னர் இந்த அக்கினி ஆவியை முதன்முதல் தனது சீடர்களுக்கு அளித்தார். "அல்லாமலும் அக்கினிமயமான நாவுகள்போலப் பிரிந்திருக்கும் நாவுகள் அவர்களுக்குக் காணப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவர்மேலும் வந்து அமர்ந்தது. அவர்களெல்லாரும் பரிசுத்தஆவியினாலே நிரப்பப்பட்டு, ஆவியானவர் தங்களுக்குத் தந்தருளின வரத்தின்படியே வெவ்வேறு பாஷைகளிலே பேசத்தொடங்கினார்கள்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 2: 3, 4) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

கிறித்தவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்களுக்கும் ஆவியானவரைபற்றிய புரிதலும் தெளிதலும் இல்லை.  ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் குளிரும் அனலுமின்றி வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். சாதாரண உலக மனிதர்களைப்போல வாழ்கின்றனர். "இப்படி நீ குளிருமின்றி அனலுமின்றி வெதுவெதுப்பாயிருக்கிறபடியினால் உன்னை என் வாயினின்று வாந்திபண்ணிப்போடுவேன்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 3 : 16 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

உலகினில் இந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவராகிய அக்கினியைப் போடவந்த கிறிஸ்துவையும் அவரது வார்த்தைகளையும் முழுவதுமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாததால் பலரால் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் ஆவியானவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. "உலகம் அந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவரைக் காணாமலும் அறியாமலும் இருக்கிறபடியால் அவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டாது; அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 14: 17) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

பல கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்குப்  பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப் பற்றிய சரியான புரிதலில்லாததால் அது குறிப்பிட்ட கிறிஸ்தவ சபைப் பிரிவினருக்கு உரிய ஒரு போதனை என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். ஆவிக்குரிய ஆராதனை செய்பவர்களைச் சிலவேளைகளில், "அல்லேலூயா கூட்டத்தினர்" என்று கேலியும் செய்கின்றனர்.   

ஆனால் வேத சத்தியம் என்னவென்றால்,  நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை முழுமையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வருகின்றார். அவரே நம்மை நடத்துகின்றார். இதனையே, "அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்." என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரு நெருப்புப் பொறியாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார். அந்த அக்கினியை அவர் கிறிஸ்து மூலம் பூமியில் போட்டுள்ளார். அது நம்மில் பற்றி எரியவேண்டும்; மட்டுமல்ல, அந்த நெருப்பு பரவி உலகினை நிரப்பவேண்டுமென்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார்.    

கிறிஸ்துவின் இருதய ஆசையை நாம் நிறைவேற்றுபவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் நம்மை  அக்கினியின் ஆவியானவர்  நிரப்பி அபிஷேகிக்கவேண்டும். அதற்காக தேவனிடம் காத்திருந்து ஜெபிப்போம்; என்னை நிரப்பும் இயேசு தெய்வமே என்று மன்றாடுவோம். ஆவியில் அனலுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.

"I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" (Luke 12:49, KJV)

The Holy Spirit is compared to fire in the Scriptures. As Christians, it is essential for us to receive this fire and be alive, fervent, and ablaze in the Spirit. The reason is that only when the power of the Holy Spirit works within us as fire can we shake off the sins and impurities of the world and advance in our spiritual lives.

This is precisely what the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of in today’s meditation verse: "I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" His very purpose in coming to earth as a man was to save and deliver us from our sins. Therefore, He desires that the fire of the Holy Spirit, which burns away sin, would ignite and spread across the world.

John the Baptist also spoke of this: "I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire." (Luke 3:16, KJV). Yes, dear ones, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is absolutely necessary for each of us. Only then can we live a victorious life pleasing to God.

Jesus Christ, after His death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven, first gave this fiery Spirit to His disciples. We read: - "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:3-4, KJV)

Many Christians lack understanding and clarity about the Holy Spirit. They live their spiritual lives neither cold nor hot, just like ordinary worldly people. "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:16, KJV), says the Lord God.

Because many have not fully accepted Christ and His words, they have been unable to receive the Holy Spirit in their lives. "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you." (John 14:17, KJV), said Jesus Christ.

Many Christians do not have a proper understanding of the Holy Spirit, thinking it is a teaching reserved only for certain denominations. At times, they even mock those who worship in the Spirit, calling them "Hallelujah groups."

But the truth of the Scripture is this: when we fully accept Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us. He leads us. As Jesus said, "Ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

As Christians, God desires each of us to be a spark of fire. He has placed this fire on earth through Christ, and He wants it to ignite within us and spread to fill the world.

To fulfil the heart’s desire of Christ, we must be filled and anointed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Let us wait upon God and pray, crying out, "Fill me, Lord Jesus!" Let us live as those ablaze in the Spirit.
