 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,482    

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 27, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை   

                                          

"நாம் ஆரம்பத்திலே கொண்ட நம்பிக்கையை முடிவுபரியந்தம் உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக் கொண்டிருப்போமாகில், கிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் பங்குள்ளவர்களாயிருப்போம்." ( எபிரெயர் 3: 14)

மனிதர்களில் பலருக்கும் வித்தியாசமான ஒரு குணமுண்டு. எதனையும் புதிதாக வாழ்வில் பெறும்போது அந்தப் பொருளின்மேல் அதிக பற்றுக்கொண்டு அதனை நன்கு பராமரிப்பார்கள். அதன்பிறகு அதன்மேலுள்ள நாட்டம் குறையக்குறைய அதனைக் கவனிப்பின்றி விட்டுவிடுவர்.  இதனைத்  தமிழில், "புது மாடு குளிப்பாட்டுவதுபோல" என்பார்கள். அதாவது ஒருவர் புதிதாக ஒரு பசுமாட்டை வாங்கினாரென்றால் முதலில் சில நாட்களுக்கு அதனை நன்கு குளிப்பாட்டி பராமரிப்பார். பின்னர் அதனை அதிகம் கவனிப்பின்றி விட்டுவிடுவார் என்பது இதன் பொருளாகும்.

இதுபோல பலர் புதிய ஆண்டு துவக்கத்தில் சில கெட்ட பழக்கவழக்கங்களை புதிய ஆண்டில் கைவிட்டுவிடவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணுவார்கள். ஆனால் ஒரு மாதம்கூட அவர்களால் அவர்களது எண்ணத்தை நிறைவேற்றிட முடிவதில்லை. அதாவது,  அவர்களது முயற்சி நல்லதுதான் ஆனால் அது தொடராதபட்சத்தில் எந்த பலனும் இருப்பதில்லை. 

பலரது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையும் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றது. தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறிந்த ஆரம்பக் காலங்களில் காட்டும் செயல்பாடுகள் வரவரக் குறைந்து போவதுண்டு. மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனை அறிந்த ஆரம்பகாலங்களில் இருந்த விசுவாசமும் பலரிடம் குறைந்து போவதுண்டு. ஆனால் இப்படி இருப்போமானால் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் பங்கில்லாதவர்கள் ஆகிவிடுவோம். இதனையே, ஆரம்பத்திலே கொண்ட நம்பிக்கையை முடிவுபரியந்தம் உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக் கொண்டிருப்போமாகில், கிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் பங்குள்ளவர்களாயிருப்போம்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார்.

இப்படி தேவன்மேலுள்ள அன்பில் நாம் குறைந்துபோவதை தேவன் விரும்புவதில்லை. எனவேதான் வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷத்தில் எபேசு சபை தூதனுக்குத் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "ஆனாலும், நீ ஆதியில் கொண்டிருந்த அன்பை விட்டாய் என்று உன்பேரில் எனக்குக் குறை உண்டு." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 2: 4) என்று. 

இப்படி ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் தளர்ச்சியடைவது தேவனிடமுள்ள அன்பில் நாம் குறைவுபடுகின்றோம் என்பதன் வெளிப்பாடாக இருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் இது வீழ்ச்சியைக் கொண்டுவருவதாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. எனவேதான் தொடர்ந்து கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது, "ஆகையால், நீ இன்ன நிலைமையிலிருந்து விழுந்தாயென்பதை நினைத்து, மனந்திரும்பி, ஆதியில் செய்த கிரியைகளைச் செய்வாயாக; இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் சீக்கிரமாய் உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து, நீ மனந்திரும்பாதபட்சத்தில், உன் விளக்குத்தண்டை அதனிடத்தினின்று நீக்கிவிடுவேன்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 2: 5)

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு இந்தத் தியான ஆரம்பத்தில் கூறியதுபோல புதிய மாட்டைக் குளிப்பாட்டுவதுபோல அல்லாமல் தொடர்ந்து அதே தீவிரத்தோடு இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் இந்த உலக துன்பங்களையும் பாவங்களையும் மேற்கொள்பவர்களாக வாழ முடியும். 

எனவே நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்துப்பார்ப்போம். கிறிஸ்துவை வாழ்வில் அறிந்த ஆரம்பகால அன்பு அவரிடம் நமக்கு இருக்கின்றதா? இல்லையானால் நம்மை நாமே திருத்திக்கொண்டு ஆரம்பகால செயல்பாடுகளைத் தொடர முயற்சியெடுப்போம்.  நாம் ஆரம்பத்திலே கொண்ட நம்பிக்கையை முடிவுபரியந்தம் உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக் கொண்டிருப்போமாகில் மட்டுமே  கிறிஸ்துவினிடத்தில் பங்குள்ளவர்களாயிருப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,482

"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." (Hebrews 3:14, KJV)

Many people have a common tendency in life. When they acquire something new, they are deeply attached to it and take great care of it. However, over time, their interest wanes, and they begin to neglect it. In Tamil, there is a saying: "Like bathing a new cow." This means that when someone buys a new cow, they bathe it and care for it meticulously in the beginning. But after some time, they stop paying much attention to it.

Similarly, many people make resolutions at the start of a new year to abandon certain bad habits. However, they often fail to sustain their efforts even for a month. Their intentions may be good, but without perseverance, they yield no fruit.

This is also true in the spiritual lives of many. The zeal and actions they show when they first come to know God gradually diminish over time. Not only that, but the faith they had in the beginning also fades away. If this happens, we risk losing our share in Christ. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in today’s meditation verse: "For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." (Hebrews 3:14, KJV)

God does not desire that our love for Him should grow cold. This is why, in the book of Revelation, God says to the church of Ephesus: "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." (Revelation 2:4, KJV)

When we grow weary in our spiritual lives, it reflects a decline in our love for God. This not only weakens our spiritual walk but also leads to a fall. This is why it is further written: "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." (Revelation 2:5, KJV)

Yes, beloved, our spiritual life should not be like bathing a new cow, where the initial enthusiasm fades. Instead, we must maintain the same intensity and commitment throughout. Only then can we overcome the trials and sins of this world.

Therefore, let us examine ourselves. Do we still have the same love for Christ that we had when we first knew Him? If not, let us correct ourselves and strive to continue the works we did at the beginning. "For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." (Hebrews 3:14, KJV)
