🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 8: 44 / John 8:44

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1576                                        ஆதவன் 01.06.2025 ஞாயிறு

"நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிதாவாகிய பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்கள்; உங்கள் பிதாவினுடைய இச்சைகளின்படி செய்ய மனதாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; அவன்  ஆதிமுதற்கொண்டு மனுஷ கொலைபாதகனாயிருக்கிறான்; சத்தியம் அவனிடத்திலில்லாதபடியால் அவன் சத்தியத்திலே நிலைநிற்கவில்லை; அவன் பொய்யனும் பொய்க்குப் பிதாவுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால்  பொய்பேசும்போது தன் சொந்தத்தில் எடுத்துப் பேசுகிறான்." ( யோவான் 8: 44)

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பிசாசைக்குறித்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் சில காரியங்களைக் கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது அவன் மனுஷ கொலைபாதகன், சத்தியத்தில் நிலைநிற்காதவன், பொய்யன், பொய்யின் தகப்பன், சொந்தமாக கதைகட்டுபவன். 

பிசாசு ஆதிமுதல்  மனுஷ கொலைபாதகனாயிருக்கிறான் என்று இயேசு கூறுகின்றார். தேவன்  ஏற்கெனவே ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருந்த நித்திய ஜீவனை ஆதாமும் ஏவாளும் அனுபவிக்கவிடாமல் தடுக்க பிசாசு  பொய்யையே பயன்படுத்தினான். தேவன் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளை ஆதாமும் ஏவாளும் புறக்கணிக்கும்வகையில் தனது பொய்யான கதையால் அவர்களை ஏமாற்றினான். இதனாலேயே இயேசு அவனை பொய்யின் தகப்பன் என்கின்றார்.

"தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனை நோக்கி: நீ தோட்டத்திலுள்ள சகல விருட்சத்தின் கனியையும் புசிக்கவே புசிக்கலாம். ஆனாலும் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியைப் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்; அதை நீ புசிக்கும் நாளில் சாகவே சாவாய் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 2: 16, 17) அதாவது தேவன் நியமித்தக் கட்டளை மிகச் சிறிதானது. அதனைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதில் எந்த கஷ்டமும் இல்லை. ஆனால் பிசாசு அவர்களைத் தனது பொய்யால் ஏமாற்றினான். "அப்பொழுது சர்ப்பம் ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் சாகவே சாவதில்லை; நீங்கள் இதைப் புசிக்கும் நாளிலே உங்கள் கண்கள் திறக்கப்படும் என்றும், நீங்கள் நன்மை தீமை அறிந்து தேவர்களைப்போல் இருப்பீர்கள் என்றும் தேவன் அறிவார் என்றது." ( ஆதியாகமம் 3: 4, 5)

இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று, அதுவும் நாங்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று நம்மைக் கூறிக்கொண்டு  ஆதாம் ஏவாளைப்போலவே வாழ்வோமானால் அந்த வாழ்க்கையில் பயனில்லை. அது ஏதேனிலிருந்து ஆதாம் ஏவாள் துரத்தப்பட்டதுபோன்று தேவ சமூகத்தைவிட்டு நாம் துரத்தப்படும் வாழ்வாகவே இருக்கும். ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொண்டு தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டாலும் நமது ஆசை இச்சையை நிறைவேற்றிட பிசாசின் பொய்யான வழியையே பின்பற்றுவோமானால்  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி நாம்  பிசாசானவனால் உண்டானவர்கள். 

இந்த உலகம் எப்போதும் உண்மையைவிட பொய்யையே அதிகமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும். ஏனெனில் உண்மை பலருக்குப்  பெரும்பாலும் கசப்பானதாகவே இருக்கும். எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுகின்றார், "நான் உங்களுக்குச் சத்தியத்தைச் சொல்லுகிறபடியினாலே நீங்கள் என்னை விசுவாசிக்கிறதில்லை." ( யோவான் 8: 45) என்று. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய ஆராதனைகளில்  கலந்து  கொள்வது,  ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொள்வது, தசமபாக காணிக்கைகள் கொடுப்பது, ஆலய காரியங்களில் முன்னின்று ஆர்வமாகச் செயல்படுவது இவை முக்கியமல்ல, மாறாக நாம் வாழ்க்கையில் எவ்வளவுதூரம் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பெரிதாகப் பார்க்கின்றார். "ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பொய் சொல்லாதிருங்கள்; பழைய மனுஷனையும் அவன் செய்கைகளையும் களைந்துபோட்டு, தன்னைச் சிருஷ்டித்தவருடைய சாயலுக்கொப்பாய்ப் பூரண அறிவடையும்படி புதிதாக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்களே." ( கொலோசெயர் 3: 9, 10)

ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதன் என்பதற்கு பொய்யில்லாத வாழ்வே எடுத்துக்காட்டு. "தீட்டுள்ளதும் அருவருப்பையும் பொய்யையும் நடப்பிக்கிறதுமாகிய ஒன்றும் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை; ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரின் ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள் மாத்திரம் அதில் பிரவேசிப்பார்கள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 21: 27) என்று பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தில் பொய்யர்கள் பிரவேசிக்கமுடியாது என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆம், பொய்யர்களுக்கு அவர்களது தகப்பனாகிய பிசாசு இருக்கும் இடமே ஆயத்தப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பொய்யைக்களைந்து உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்.

AATHAVAN – Sunday, 01.06.2025

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” — John 8:44 (KJV)

In today’s meditation verse, our Lord Jesus Christ reveals some important truths about the devil: He is a murderer from the beginning, does not abide in the truth, is a liar, the father of lies, and speaks from his own twisted imagination.

Jesus emphasizes that Satan has been a murderer from the beginning. To prevent Adam and Eve from experiencing the eternal life that God had already prepared for them, Satan used lies. He deceived them with a fabricated story, causing them to ignore God’s command. This is why Jesus calls him “the father of lies.”

“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” — Genesis 2:16–17 (KJV)

God’s command was very simple, and there was no difficulty in obeying it. Yet, Satan deceived them with a lie:

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” — Genesis 3:4–5 (KJV)

Today, if we call ourselves Christians—especially spiritual Christians—and yet live like Adam and Eve, our life has no value. Just as they were driven out of the Garden, we too may be cast out from the fellowship of God. Even if we participate in worship and listen to the Word of God, if we choose to satisfy our fleshly desires by following Satan’s deceptive path, then—according to today’s verse—we are of the devil.

This world often embraces lies more readily than truth. Why? Because truth is usually bitter for many. That’s why Jesus continues in the next verse:

“And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” — John 8:45 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, more than participating in spiritual worship, prayer meetings, giving tithes, or being active in church ministries, Jesus places greater importance on how truthfully, we live our lives.

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.” — Colossians 3:9–10 (KJV)

A truly spiritual person is one who lives without lies. The Bible says liars will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven:

“And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.” — Revelation 21:27 (KJV)

Yes, for liars, a place is already prepared alongside their father—the devil. Let us therefore cast aside all lies and live as people of truth.
