🍒Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 119: 148 / Psalm 119:148

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,574

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 30, 2025. 💚 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"உமது வசனத்தைத் தியானிக்கும்படி, குறித்த ஜாமங்களுக்கு முன்னே என் கண்கள் விழித்துக்கொள்ளும்." ( சங்கீதம் 119: 148)

ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் ஒரு அனுபவத்தை இன்றைய தியானத்தில் நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம். தேவன்மேல் மெய்யான அன்பு ஏற்படும்போது நம்மையறியாமல் நமது ஆத்துமா விழித்துக்கொள்ளும். அதிகாலை நேரங்களில் மட்டுமல்ல, நள்ளிரவு நேரங்களிலும் தேவனைநோக்கி நம்மால் வேண்டுதல்செய்ய ஆர்வமுண்டாகும். 

நாம் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே நாடி தேவனிடம் வருவோமானால் இந்த அனுபவம் நிச்சயமாக நமக்கு ஏற்படாது. அதாவது இது ஒரு மெய்யான காதல் அனுபவம் போன்றது. ஒரு காதலனோ காதலியோ தங்களது அன்புக்குரியவர்களை நினைப்பதற்கு எப்படி நேரமோ சூழ்நிலையோ தடையாக இருக்காதோ அதுபோலவே தேவன்மேல் நாம் மெய்யான அன்பு கொள்ளும்போது நாம் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைத் தியானிக்கவும் அவரிடம் விண்ணப்பிக்கவும் காலமும் சூழ்நிலையும் தடையாக இருக்காது. 

தேவனிடம் ஜெபிப்பதற்கு ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதனுக்கு கடிகாரத்தில் அலாரம் வைத்து ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியமில்லை. நாம் மூச்சுவிடுவது எப்படி இயற்கையானதோ அதுபோலவே அது இயற்கையாக நிகழும் ஒரு அற்புத அனுபவமாக இருக்கும். 

யூதாவின் வனாந்தரங்களில் அலைந்து திரிந்தபோதும்கூட தாவீது இப்படித்  தேவனை இரவுநேரங்களிலும் தேடுபவராக இருந்தார். எனவேதான் அவர் கூறுகின்றார்,  "என் படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது, இராச்சாமங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 63: 6)

ஏசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரசியும்  இதே அனுபவத்தில் வாழ்ந்ததாகக் கூறுகின்றார். "என் ஆத்துமா இரவிலே உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது; எனக்குள் இருக்கிற என் ஆவியால் அதிகாலையிலும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்." ( ஏசாயா 26: 9)

நாம் தேவனிடம் அன்புகூருவது மெய்யானால் நாமும் இதுபோல இராச்சாமங்களில் அவரைத் தேடுபவர்களாகவும், தேவனைத் துதிப்பவர்களாகவும்,  வேண்டுதல்செய்பவர்களாகவும் இருப்போம். இதற்கு மாறாக உலக காரியங்களுக்காகவும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவும் தேடுவோமென்றால் நமக்கு வசதியான நேரங்களில் மட்டும் அவரைத் தேடுபவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இப்படியே பிதாவைநோக்கி ஜெபிப்பவராக இருந்தார். "அவர் அதிகாலையில், இருட்டோடே எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, வனாந்தரமான ஓரிடத்திற்குப்போய், அங்கே ஜெபம்பண்ணினார்." ( மாற்கு 1: 35) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இந்த வசனத்தில் அதிகாலை, இருட்டு, வனாந்தரம் என மூன்று காரியங்கள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆம், பிதாவின்மேலுள்ள பற்றுதலால் இயேசு இவைகளை மேற்கொண்டு பிதாவை நோக்கி ஜெபித்தார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த தியானத்தில் நாம் ஏற்கெனவே பார்த்தபடி இது நாமாக கடினப்பட்டு முயலவேண்டிய ஒரு காரியமல்ல, தேவனிடம் நாம் மெய்யான அன்புகொள்ளும்போது இது இயற்கையாக நமது வாழ்வில் நடக்கும் காரியமாக இருக்கும். வேதத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள பரிசுத்தவான்களது அனுபவம் இதுவே. தேவனை அறியவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வத்துடன் அவரைத் தேடும்போது நமது வாழ்வில் இது இயற்கையாக நடைபெறும். 

"என்னைச் சிநேகிக்கிறவர்களை நான் சிநேகிக்கிறேன்; அதிகாலையில் என்னைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னைக் கண்டடைவார்கள்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 8: 17) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation – No: 1,574

AATHAVAN 💚 May 30, 2025 – Friday

“Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.” — Psalm 119:148 

In today’s meditation, we reflect on a spiritual experience. When genuine love for God begins to take root, our soul awakens without our conscious effort. We begin to long for Him not just in the early hours but even in the depths of night.

If we approach God solely in pursuit of worldly blessings, we will never experience this kind of spiritual awakening. This is akin to the pure love experienced in a genuine relationship. Just as lovers are not hindered by time or circumstances when thinking about each other, so too, when we truly love God, neither time nor situation can prevent us from meditating on His Word or pouring out our hearts in prayer.

A spiritual person does not need an alarm clock to prompt prayer. Just as breathing is natural, prayer becomes a spontaneous and miraculous experience.

Even while wandering through the wilderness of Judah, David sought God in the night. Hence, he says: “When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.” — Psalm 63:6 (KJV)

The prophet Isaiah also lived this same experience. “With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early.” — Isaiah 26:9 (KJV)

If our love for God is sincere, we too will seek Him in the night watches, praise Him continually, and intercede before Him. On the other hand, if our search is driven by worldly gain and blessings, we will only turn to God when it is convenient for us.

Our Lord Jesus Christ also communed with the Father in this manner:
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” — Mark 1:35 (KJV)

In this verse, we note three things: early morning, darkness, and solitary place. Yes, because of His dependence on the Father, Jesus embraced all these and prayed unto Him.

Dearly beloved, as we’ve seen in this meditation, this is not something we have to force ourselves into; rather, when we develop a sincere love for God, it becomes a natural part of our spiritual life. This is the testimony of the saints in Scripture. When we seek Him with a genuine longing to know Him, this experience unfolds naturally in our lives.

“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” — Proverbs 8:17 (KJV)
