🍒Meditation verse - 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2: 13 / 1 Thessalonians 2:13

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,575

'ஆதவன்' 💚மே 31, 2025. 💚 சனிக்கிழமை

"ஆகையால், நீங்கள் தேவவசனத்தை எங்களாலே கேள்விப்பட்டு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபோது, அதை மனுஷர்வசனமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல், தேவவசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதினாலே நாங்கள் இடைவிடாமல் தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்துகிறோம்; அது மெய்யாகவே தேவவசனந்தான், விசுவாசிக்கிற உங்களுக்குள்ளே அது பெலனும் செய்கிறது." (1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2: 13)

இன்று மனிதர்களில் பலரும் விசித்திர எண்ணமுடையவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். பெரும்பாலான மனிதர்கள் வேதாகமத்திலுள்ள தேவ வசனங்களை யாராவது பிரசங்கிக்கவோ அல்லது தேவ வசனங்களைக் குறித்து எழுதவோ செய்தால் அந்த வசனம் கூறும் உண்மையினைப் பாராமல் யார் அதனைக் கூறுகின்றார்கள் என்றுதான் பார்க்கின்றனர்.  இதனைக் கூறும் இவர் எந்தச் சபைப்பிரிவைச் சார்ந்தவர் என்பதை அறிந்திட முயல்கின்றனர். மேலும், ஒரே வசனத்தை   அதனைக் கூறும் ஊழியர்களின் பிரபலத்தைவைத்தே முக்கியமாக அல்லது முக்கியமற்றதாகக்  கருதுகின்றனர். 

ஆனால் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் பிரசங்கித்த தெசலோனிக்கேயே சபை விசுவாசிகள் அப்படியில்லாமல் தேவ வசனத்தை தேவ வசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறியதால் அல்ல; மாறாக, அது தேவனது வார்த்தை என்பதை அவர்கள் உணர்ந்துகொண்டனர்.  அதனையே அவர், "நீங்கள் தேவவசனத்தை எங்களாலே கேள்விப்பட்டு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டபோது, அதை மனுஷர்வசனமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல், தேவவசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதினாலே நாங்கள் இடைவிடாமல் தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செலுத்துகிறோம்" என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, பல்வேறு ஊழியர்கள் தேவ வசனங்களைப் பிரசங்கிக்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரது வாழ்க்கையையும் நாம் எடைபோட்டு அதன் அடிப்படையில் தேவ வசனங்களை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோமானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாக மாறிவிடுவோம். ஒருமுறை நான் நண்பர் ஒருவரிடம் பிரபலமான ஒரு ஊழியர் பிரசங்கித்தபோது அவர் கூறிய ஒரு தகவலைக் கூறத்துவங்கினேன்.  உடனே அவர் நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்பதற்குமுன்னே, "அவன் கிடக்கிறான், இடியட் ...... அவன் சொன்னதைப் பற்றி என்னிடம் சொல்லவேண்டாம்" என்று என்னைத் தடுத்துவிட்டார். 

இதுபோலவே இன்று பலரும் இருக்கின்றனர். ஒருவர் கூறுவது சத்தியமா இல்லையா என்று பாராமல் கூறுவது எந்த சபைப் பிரிவைச் சார்ந்தவர் என்றே பார்க்கின்றனர். இன்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுவது தெசலோனிக்கேயே சபை விசுவாசிகள் தேவ வசனத்தை  மனுஷர்வசனமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல், தேவவசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்,  அப்படி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதால், விசுவாசிக்கிற அந்த மக்களுக்குள்ளே அது பெலனும் செய்கிறது என்கின்றார். 

சபை வைராக்கியம்கொண்டு பிரிவினை சபை என்று மற்ற சபைகளை அற்பமாகக் கூறிவந்த ஒரு பாரம்பரிய சபையைச்சார்ந்த சகோதரனும் சகோதரியும் தங்கள் மகனுக்குக் கொடிய நோய்வந்து மருத்துவர்களால் கைவிடப்பட்ட நிலைவந்தபோது,  அவர்கள் பிரிவினை சபை என்று குறைகூறிய சபையின் போதகர்களை தங்கள் மகனுக்காக ஜெபம் செய்ய அழைத்தனர். அப்படி ஒரு போதகர் வந்து ஜெபித்தபோது அவர்களது மகன் குணமும் அடைந்தான். 

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவவசனத்தை யார் கூறினாலும் அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் மனம் நமக்கு வேண்டும். காரணம் அது  மனிதர்களது வசனமல்ல, மாறாக தேவவசனமாகவே இருக்கின்றது. அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது  விசுவாசிக்கிற மக்களுக்குள்ளே அது பெலனும் செய்கிறது.

சபைவெறி, ஊழியர்கள்மேல் தனிப்பட்ட வெறுப்புணவு போன்ற குணங்களோடு தேவ வசனங்களை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல் புறந்தள்ளுவோமானால் நமக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை இழந்தவர்களாக மாறிவிடுவோம். தேவ வசனங்களை தேவ வசனமாகவே ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம். அப்போது விசுவாசிக்கிற நமக்குள்ளே அது பெலன் செய்யும்.

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:13 (KJV)

Today, many people have strange ways of thinking. When someone preaches or writes about the Word of God found in the Bible, most people tend to focus not on the truth in the Word but on who is delivering the message. They try to find out which denomination the speaker belongs to. They even judge the value of the same verse based on the popularity of the minister quoting it.

But the believers in the church of Thessalonica, to whom the Apostle Paul preached, were not like that. They received the Word of God as the Word of God, not merely because it was spoken by Paul. They recognized that it was indeed the Word of God. That’s why Paul says:

"When ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God."

Beloved, many ministers preach the Word of God today. If we were to measure each of their personal lives and accept or reject the Word based on that, we might end up becoming people to be pitied.

Once, I began to share with a friend something I had heard from a popular minister's sermon. Even before I could finish, my friend stopped me, saying, "He's a fraud... an idiot... Don't tell me anything he said!" That’s how many people behave nowadays. They judge a message not by whether it is true, but by which denomination the preacher belongs to.

But Paul commends the Thessalonian believers because they did not treat the Word of God as the word of man. Instead, they received it as the Word of God, and because they believed, the Word effectually worked in them.

There was once a brother and sister from a traditional denomination who often spoke poorly about other churches, calling them “divisive sects.” But when their son fell severely ill and doctors gave up hope, they ended up calling ministers from the very churches they used to criticize to come and pray for their son. When one such preacher came and prayed, their son was miraculously healed.

Beloved, we must have a heart that receives the Word of God regardless of who speaks it, because it is not the word of man but the Word of God. When we receive it that way, it works powerfully in those who believe.

If we reject the Word due to church prejudices or personal dislike toward a minister, we risk missing out on our blessings. Let us receive the Word of God as the Word of God. Then it will work mightily in us who believe.
