சீயோன் ஜனங்கள் / PEOPLE OF ZION

ஆதவன் 🔥 937🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 22, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"சீயோனைச் சேர்ந்த ஜனங்கள் எருசலேமில் வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள்; இனி நீ அழுதுகொண்டிராய்; உன் கூப்பிடுதலின் சத்தத்துக்கு அவர் உருக்கமாய் இரங்கி, அதைக் கேட்டவுடனே உனக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளுவார்." ( ஏசாயா 30 : 19 )

இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனத்தில் சீயோன், எருசலேம் என்பவை உருவகமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. சீயோன் என்பது பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தையும் (தேவனுடைய நகரத்தையும்)  எருசலேம் என்பது பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கையையும் குறிக்கின்றது. அதாவது பரலோக ராஜ்யத்துக்கு உரிமையான மக்கள் பரிசுத்தமாக வாழ்வார்கள் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அடுத்து வரும் வார்த்தைகள், அப்படி தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடைய பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வதால் வரும் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதாவது அப்படி பரலோக ராஜ்யத்துக்குத் தகுதியான ஒரு பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது, "நீ அழுதுகொண்டிராய்; உன் கூப்பிடுதலின் சத்தத்துக்கு அவர் உருக்கமாய் இரங்கி, அதைக் கேட்டவுடனே உனக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளுவார்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

தொடர்ந்து அடுத்த வசனங்களிலும் ஏசாயா இதன் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை விளக்குகின்றார். "ஆண்டவர் உங்களுக்குத் துன்பத்தின் அப்பத்தையும், உபத்திரவத்தின் தண்ணீரையும் கொடுத்தாலும், உன் போதகர்கள் இனி ஒருபோதும் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; உன் கண்கள் உன் போதகர்களைக் காணும். நீங்கள் வலதுபுறமாய்ச் சாயும்போதும், இடதுபுறமாய்ச் சாயும்போதும்: வழி இதுவே, இதிலே நடவுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குப் பின்னாலே சொல்லும் வார்த்தையை உங்கள் காதுகள் கேட்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 30 : 20, 21 )    

அதாவது இப்படி சீயோனுக்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக ஒரு பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது நாம் உபத்திரவம், குறைச்சல் போன்று நெருக்கத்தின் மத்தியில் இருந்தாலும் நமது போதகர் , அதாவது தேவன் நமக்கு மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார். அவர் நம்மோடு இருந்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துவார். நெருக்கத்தின் மத்தியிலும் நாம் அவரது தேவ பிரசன்னத்தைக் கண்டுணரமுடியும். 

மேலும் நாம் செல்லவேண்டிய சரியான பாதையினை அவர் நமக்குக் காட்டி வழிநடத்துவார். நாம் செல்லவேண்டிய பாதையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க முடியாமல் வலதுபுறமாய்ச் சாயும்போதும், இடதுபுறமாய்ச் சாயும்போதும்: வழி இதுவே, இதிலே நடவுங்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குப் பின்னாலே சொல்லும் வார்த்தையை உங்கள் காதுகள் கேட்கும்.

மற்ற மக்களுக்கும் சீயோனைச் சார்ந்த மக்களுக்குமுள்ள ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் வித்தியாசம் இதுதான். மற்ற மக்கள் துன்பப்படும்போது வழிதெரியாமலும் உதவுவாரில்லாமலும் தவிப்பார்கள். ஆனால் நாம்  சீயோன் எனும் பரலோகத்துக்குரியவர்களாக பரிசத்தமாக வாழும்போது தேவன் நமக்கு மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டார். நெருக்கத்தின் மத்தியிலும் அவரது முகத்தரிசனத்தை நாம் காண முடியும். அவரது வழிநடத்துதலை அனுபவிக்கமுடியும்.  

மேலும்,  அப்படி வாழும்போது  அவரை நோக்கி நாம் ஜெபிக்கும்போது நமது ஜெபத்துக்கு உடனேயே இரங்கி பதில் தருவார். இதனையே, "உன் கூப்பிடுதலின் சத்தத்துக்கு அவர் உருக்கமாய் இரங்கி, அதைக் கேட்டவுடனே உனக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளுவார்." என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் கொஞ்சகாலம் வாழ்ந்தாலும் நாம் நிரந்தர நகரான பரலோக சீயோனுக்கு உரியவர்கள். கர்த்தரோடு வாழப்போகிறவர்கள். எனவே தாறுமாறாக அலைந்திடாமல் பரிசுத்தநகரமாகிய எருசலேமில் தங்கி பரிசுத்த வாழ்கையினைத் தொடர்ந்திடுவோம்.

"For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee." ( Isaiah 30 : 19 )

In today's meditation verse, Zion and Jerusalem are used as metaphors. Zion means the kingdom of heaven (the city of God) and Jerusalem means a holy life. That is, it is said that the people who are entitled to the kingdom of heaven will live a holy life.

The following words explain the blessings that come from living such a holy life that is acceptable to God. That is, when a holy life worthy of the kingdom of heaven is lived, “thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee."

Isaiah continues to explain its blessings in the following verses. "And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers.  And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." (Isaiah 30: 20, 21)

That is, when we live a holy life as worthy of Zion, our teacher, that is, God, will not be hidden from us even if we are in the midst of suffering and weakness. He will be with us and guide us. Even in the midst of troubles we can find His divine presence.

And He will show us the right path to follow. When we turn to the right and turn to the left, unable to choose which way to go, your ears will hear the word behind you saying: “This is the way”.

This is the difference between the blessing of the rest of the people and the people of Zion. When other people suffer, they feel helplessness. But God will not be hidden from us when we live in purity as Zion's heavenly people. We can see His face in the midst of troubles and enjoy his guidance.

Also, when we pray to Him while living like that, He will respond to our prayers immediately. This is said in today’s verse, “He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee."

Beloved, though we live in this world for a short time, we belong to the eternal city, the heavenly Zion. Those who are going to live with God. So, let us stay in Jerusalem, the holy city and continue the holy life.
