ஆதவன் 🔥 938🌻 ஆகஸ்ட் 23, 2023 புதன்கிழமை
"என் மீறுதல்களை நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; என் பாவம் எப்பொழுதும் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிறது." ( சங்கீதம் 51 : 3 )
அன்பானவர்களே, ஒரு உணர்வுள்ள இருதயம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் நாமும் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தாவீது ராஜா கூறுவதுபோல கூறமுடியும். ஆண்டவரே, என் பாவம் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கின்றது; நான் அதனை உணந்துள்ளேன், என்னை மன்னியும் என்று கூற முடியும். தாவீது பாவம் செய்தபோது முதலில் அது குறித்து எந்த குற்ற உணர்வும் அவருக்கு இல்லாமலிருந்தது. ஆனால் நாத்தான் தீர்க்கதரிசி தாவீதின் பாவங்களை அவருக்கு உணர்த்தினார். அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட தாவீது, "என் மீறுதல்களை நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; என் பாவம் எப்பொழுதும் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிறது." எனக் கூறுகின்றார். மட்டுமல்ல, தேவனிடம் மன்னிப்பு வேண்டி இறைஞ்சினார். இந்த 51 வது சங்கீதம் நமக்கெல்லாம் ஒரு மன்னிப்பு வேண்டுதல் ஜெபமாக உள்ளது.
"தன் பாவங்களை மறைக்கிறவன் வாழ்வடையமாட்டான்; அவைகளை அறிக்கை செய்து விட்டுவிடுகிறவனோ இரக்கம் பெறுவான்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 28 : 13 ) எனும் வசனத்துக்கேற்ப தாவீது இரக்கம் பெற்றார்.
பாவம் செய்யாத மனிதர்கள் இல்லை. மனிதர்கள் நாம் பெலவீனமானவர்கள். இதனை தேவன் நன்கு அறிவார். எனவே உணர்வுள்ள இருதயம் நமக்கு இருக்கும்போது நாம் மன்னிப்பு வேண்டும்போது அவர் நமது பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கிறார். "நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நாம் அறிக்கையிட்டால், பாவங்களை நமக்கு மன்னித்து எல்லா அநியாயத்தையும் நீக்கி நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிப்பதற்கு அவர் உண்மையும் நீதியும் உள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்." ( 1 யோவான் 1 : 9 )
அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் செய்வது தவறு அல்லது பாவம் எனும் உணர்வு நமக்கு எப்போதும் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி இல்லாமல் வாழும்போது நாம் காட்டுக்கழுதைகள் போல இருப்போம். இந்த உணர்வு இல்லாமல் வாழும்போது நமது ஜெபங்களும் அனைத்து பக்திச் செயல்களும் வீணானவைகளே.
"நீங்கள் உங்கள் கைகளை விரித்தாலும், என் கண்களை உங்களைவிட்டு மறைக்கிறேன்; நீங்கள் மிகுதியாய் ஜெபம்பண்ணினாலும் கேளேன்; உங்கள் கைகள் இரத்தத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 1 : 15 ) என்கிறார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர்.
எனவே நாம் இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல ஒரு உணர்வுள்ள இருதயத்தோடு வாழவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கிறது. பாவம் நமது ஆத்துமாவைக் கொல்லுகின்றது. உணர்வுள்ள நாம் இருதயத்தோடு நமது பாவங்களை கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அறிகையிடும்போது மன்னிப்புப் பெறுகின்றோம். மட்டுமல்ல, நித்தியஜீவன் எனும் முடிவில்லா வாழ்வுக்கும் தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகின்றோம். எனவேதான் "பாவத்தின் சம்பளம் மரணம்; தேவனுடைய கிருபைவரமோ நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினால் உண்டான நித்தியஜீவன்." ( ரோமர் 6 : 23 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.
தேவன் நமக்கு உணர்வுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தரும்படி வேண்டுவோம். அப்போதுதான் நாம் தேவனிடம் பாவ மன்னிப்பு வேண்டி, அதனைப் பெற்று நரக அக்கினிக்கு நீங்கலாகி நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகமுடியும்.

"For I acknowledge my
transgressions: and my sin is ever before me." ( Psalms 51 : 3 )
Beloved,
if we have a sensitive heart we too can say as King David says in today's
meditation verse. Lord, my sin stands before me; I acknowledge it; forgive me.
When David sinned, in the beginning, he felt no guilt about it. But Nathan, the
prophet made David aware of his sins. David accepted it and said, "I know
my transgressions; my sin is ever before me." Not only that, he prayed to
God for forgiveness. This 51st Psalm is an intercessory prayer for all of us.
"He
that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh
them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28: 13) Accordingly, David received mercy.
There are no sinless men. We
humans are weak. God knows this well. So, when we have a conscious heart and
ask for forgiveness, He forgives our sins. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
( 1 John 1 : 9 )
Beloved,
it is necessary for us to always have the feeling that what we are doing is
wrong or sinful. Without it, we are like wild donkeys. When we live without
this consciousness our prayers and all devotional activities are in vain.
"And
when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye
make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." (Isaiah
1: 15) says the Holy Lord.
So, it is necessary for us to
live with a conscious heart as today's verse says. Sin kills our soul. We are
forgiven when we conscientiously confess our sins to Christ. Not only that, but
we also deserve eternal life. That is why "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift
of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." ( Romans 6 :
23 ) says the apostle Paul.
Let
us ask God to give us a conscious heart. Only then can we ask God for
forgiveness of our sins, receive it and be saved from hell fire and become
eligible for eternal life.
