உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே? / WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE?

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,027,              நவம்பர் 20, 2023 திங்கள்கிழமை

"உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே இருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்." ( லுூக்கா 12 : 34 )

இருதயத்தின் நிறைவினால் தான் மனிதன் நடத்தப்படுகின்றான். ஒரு மனிதனின் எண்ணங்களும் செயல்களும் அவனது இருதயத்தின் நிறைவைப்பொறுத்தே அமையும். இதனால்தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "நல்ல மனுஷன் இருதயமாகிய நல்ல பொக்கிஷத்திலிருந்து நல்லவைகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறான், பொல்லாத மனுஷன் பொல்லாத பொக்கிஷத்திலிருந்து பொல்லாதவைகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறான்." ( மத்தேயு 12 : 35 ) என்று.

பண ஆசை நிறைந்தவர்களது இருதயம் பணத்தைப்பற்றியும் அதனை எப்படிப் பெருக்குவது என்றுமே எண்ணிகொண்டிருக்கும். பதவி ஆசை கொண்டவன் இருதயம் எப்படித் தான் அடைய விரும்பும்  அந்தப் பதவியைப் பெறுவது என்பதிலேயே குறியாய் இருக்கும். ஆம், எதனை ஒரு மனிதன் தனது செல்வம் என்று எண்ணுகின்றானோ அதனைச் சுற்றயே அவனது இருதய எண்ணமும் இருக்கும். அதனை அடைந்திட மனிதன் எதனையும் செய்வான். இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில்,  "உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே இருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்." என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

இன்று போலீசாரிடம் மாட்டிக்கொள்ளும் பல கிரிமினல்கள், "எப்படியாவது பெரிய பணக்காரன் ஆகவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணியே இப்படிச் செய்தேன்" என வாக்குமூலம் அளிப்பதுண்டு.  கொலை, களவு இவற்றுக்குப் பெரும்பாலும் பண ஆசையே காரணமாய் இருக்கின்றது. 

இதுபோலவே, தேவனை அறியவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வமும், நித்தியஜீவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கையும் கொண்டவர்கள் இருதயம் அதற்கேற்ப செயல்படும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தைக்குறித்துப் பல உவமைகளைக் கூறினார். அதில் ஒன்று, "பரலோகராஜ்யம் நிலத்தில் புதைத்திருக்கிற பொக்கிஷத்துக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது; அதை ஒரு மனுஷன் கண்டு, மறைத்து, அதைப்பற்றிய சந்தோஷத்தினாலே போய், தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் விற்று, அந்த நிலத்தைக்கொள்ளுகிறான்." ( மத்தேயு 13 : 44 ) என்பது. அதாவது, பரலோக ராஜ்யத்துக்குரியவைகளைத் தேடுபவனுக்கு மற்றவையெல்லாம் அற்பமாகவே தெரியும். எனவே அவற்றை இழந்து பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தைப் பெற முயலுவான் என்கின்றார் இயேசு. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலின் இருதயம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை அறியும் ஆர்வத்தில் நிறைந்திருந்தது. எனவே அவர் மற்ற எல்லாவற்றையும் அற்பமாகவும் குப்பையாக எண்ணினேன் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  "என் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை அறிகிற அறிவின்மேன்மைக்காக எல்லாவற்றையும் நஷ்டமென்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 3 : 8 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழ்வதற்குப் பணம் மிக முக்கியமான தேவைதான். ஆனால் நமது இருதயம் அதன்மேலேயே இருக்காமல் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 33 ) என்று கூறிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளை நாம் நம்பினால் நாம் உறுதியுடன், "அவர் எனக்குத் தேவையானவற்றைத் தருவார் எனும் நம்பிக்கையும் ஏற்படும். 

அப்போது நாம் ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தேடி ஓடாமல் ஆசீர்வாதங்களின் ஊற்றாகிய தேவனை நோக்கி நமது இருதயத்தைத் திருப்புகிறவர்களாக இருப்போம். "உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே இருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்." என்ற வார்த்தையின்படி நமது பொக்கிஷமாக கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையே கருதுவோம். அப்போது நமது உள்ளான மனநிலையில்  பெரிய மாற்றம் ஏற்படும்; தேவன் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும் நம்மை நிரப்புவார்.

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Luke 12: 34)

Man is driven by the desires of the heart. A man's thoughts and actions depend on the desires of his heart. This is why Jesus Christ said, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." (Matthew 12: 35)

A greedy person's heart is all about money and how to increase it. An aspirant's heart is set on how to attain the position he desires. Yes, what a man considers to be his wealth, the thoughts of his heart revolve around that. Man will do anything to achieve it. This is what Jesus Christ said in today's meditation verse, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Many criminals who get caught by the police today confess that "I did this because I wanted to get rich somehow". Most of the murders and thefts are motivated by the desire for money.

Similarly, those who have a desire to know God and have faith in eternal life, their hearts will act accordingly. Jesus Christ told many parables about the kingdom of heaven. One of them is, "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field." ( Matthew 13 : 44 )

That is, he who seeks the things of the kingdom of heaven will try to lose them and gain the kingdom of heaven.

Apostle Paul's heart was full of desire to know the Lord Jesus. So, he says that he considered everything else as loss and rubbish. "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," (Philippians 3: 8)

Yes dears, money is the most important need for us to live in this world. But we must be careful not to set our heart on it. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6: 33) If we believe in the words of Jesus Christ, we will have confidence that He will give us what we need.

Then we will turn our hearts towards God who is the source of blessings instead of running in search of blessings. "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Let us consider the Lord Jesus Christ as our treasure according to the word. Then there will be a great change in our inner state; God will also fill us with worldly blessings.
