"சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் / LORD OF HOSTS

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,014,              நவம்பர் 07, 2023 செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார்; யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர்." ( சங்கீதம் 46 : 7 )

சேனை என்பது பெரிய இராணுவத்தைக் குறிக்கின்றது. இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அதிகமான போர்களைச் சந்தித்தவர்கள். அவர்கள் சிலவேளைகளில் எதிரிகளால் சிறை பிடிக்கப்பட்டார்கள். காரணம் அவர்கள் தேவனது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படியத் தவறியதுதான்.  ஆனால் கர்த்தர் தங்களோடிருந்து செய்த வல்லமையான செயல்களைக் கண்டு உணர்ந்த சங்கீதக்காரர் சொல்கின்றார், "சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார்"

நமது தேவன் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர். சேனைக்கு வெற்றித்தருபவர். இதனை அறிந்திருந்ததால்தான் தாவீதுராஜா கோலியாத்தை எதிர்கொண்டபோது, "நீ பட்டயத்தோடும், ஈட்டியோடும், கேடகத்தோடும் என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறாய்; நானோ நீ நிந்தித்த இஸ்ரவேலுடைய இராணுவங்களின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்திலே உன்னிடத்தில் வருகிறேன்' ( 1 சாமுவேல் 17 : 45 ) என்று அறிக்கையிட்டு அவனை வீழ்த்தினார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்தில் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மை அனாதைகளாக விட்டுச் செல்லவில்லை. சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஜெய கிறிஸ்து உலகத்தின் முடிவுவரை நம்மோடு இருப்பேன் என்று தான் விண்ணகம் செல்லுமுன் வாக்களித்துச் சென்றார்.  ( மத்தேயு 28 : 20 ) அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கின்றார். 

சாதாரண உலக மக்களைப்போல நாம் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருப்போமானால் அவரையும் அவரது உடனிருப்பையும் நாம் உணர்ந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் கற்றும் அடைந்தும் கேட்டும் கண்டும் இருக்கிறவைகளெவைகளோ, அவைகளையே செய்யுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் உங்களோடிருப்பார்." ( பிலிப்பியர் 4 : 9 )

நாம் தேவனைப்பற்றி, அவரது கட்டளைகளைப்பற்றி கற்றிருக்கின்றோம், பல்வேறு தேவ செய்திகள் மூலம் அவரைப்பற்றி கேட்டு அறிந்திருக்கின்றோம். பல்வேறு பரிசுத்தவான்களின் வாழ்க்கைச் சரித்திரத்தையும் அவர்களது வாழ்வையும் அறிந்திருக்கின்றோம்.  அவைகளையே நாம் வாழ்வில் கடைபிடிப்போமானால் அப்பொழுது சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் உங்களோடிருப்பார் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். 

இன்று கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலர்கூட சிலவேளைகளில் வேத வசனங்களை நம்புவதில்லை. காரணம் அவர்கள் துன்பங்களில், பிரச்சனைகளில் சிக்கித் தவிக்கும்போது அவர்களால் சமாதானத்தின் தேவன் தங்களோடு இருக்கின்றார் என்பதை நம்ப முடியாதுதானே? பொதுவாக மனித மனம் அடுத்தவர்களைக் குறைகூறுவதாகவே இருக்கின்றது. தங்களிடமுள்ள குறைகளை மனிதர்கள் எண்ணிப்பார்ப்பதில்லை. ஆம், அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது அவர் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராக நம்மோடு இருப்பார். இல்லாவிட்டால் அவரை நாம் அப்படிக் கண்டுகொள்ள முடியாது. அவரைக் குறைசொல்வதில் அர்த்தமில்லை.

தாய் தந்தையருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும் குழந்தைகள் வீட்டின் நன்மையினை அனுபவிக்கும். தான்தோன்றித்தனமாக அலைந்து திரியும் குழந்தைகள் பெற்றோரின் அன்பையும் அவர்களது சொத்துச் சுகங்களையும் அனுபவித்து மகிழ முடியாது. அதுபோல தேவனுக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது அவரை வாழ்வில் அனுபவிக்கலாம். சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் என்னோடு இருக்கிறார்; யாக்கோபின் தேவன் எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர் என்று உணர்த்து அறிக்கையிடலாம்.

                                  LORD OF HOSTS

"The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. " (Psalms 46: 7)

The word "host" in English is now used to refer to a numerous quantity or multitude; like a "host of options." However, historically, it referred to a multitude of warriors. So, it refers to all the heavenly armies under God's command. The people of Israel had many wars. They were sometimes captured by the enemy. The reason is that they failed to obey God's commandments. But the psalmist says, "The Lord of hosts is with us."

Our God is the Lord of hosts. A conqueror of armies. Knowing this, when King David confronted Goliath, he declared, "Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied." ( 1 Samuel 17 : 45 ) and defeated him.

Yes beloved, Lord Jesus Christ did not leave us orphans in this world. The Lord of Hosts victorious Christ promised to be with us until the end of the world before He went to heaven. (Matthew 28:20) He is with us.

If we live like ordinary people of the world, we cannot realize Him and His presence. The apostle Paul says, "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4: 9)

We have learned about God, His commandments, heard about Him through various God messages. We know the biographies of various saints and their lives. Apostle Paul says that if we follow them in our life then the God of peace will be with you.

Even many Christians today do not believe the scriptures at times. Because when they are stuck in suffering and problems, they can't believe that the God of peace is with them.  In general, the human mind tends to criticize others. People don't care about their flaws. Yes, beloved, when we live God's pleasing life He will be with us as the Lord of hosts. Otherwise, we cannot see him as such. There is no point in blaming Him.

Children who obey their parents will enjoy the benefits of home. Naturally wandering children cannot enjoy the love of their parents and the comforts of their property. Similarly, when you live a life according to God, you can experience Him in your life. Then you can proclaim, “Lord of hosts is with me; I can feel and report that the God of Jacob is my highest refuge”.
