இருதயத்தில் சுத்தம் / PURITY IN HEART

'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,013, நவம்பர் 06, 2023 திங்கள்கிழமை

"உம்மிலே பெலன்கொள்ளுகிற மனுஷனும், தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் செவ்வையான வழிகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள்." ( சங்கீதம் 84 : 5 )

தேவனுக்கென்று நாம் செலுத்தும் பலிகளும் காணிக்கைகளும் அவருக்குப் பெரிதல்ல; மாறாக, நமது இருதயம் சுத்தமாக இருப்பதையே அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். இருதய சுத்தமில்லாமல் செய்யப்படும் விண்ணப்பங்களையும் அவர் கேட்பதில்லை. (ஏசாயா 1:15) தேவன் மனிதர்கள் தன்னை அறிந்து தனக்கு ஏற்ற ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டுமென்றுதான் விரும்புகின்றார். 

ஒரு மனிதன் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவதுடன்  நின்றுவிடாமல் நாளுக்குநாள் கிறிஸ்து அனுபவத்தில் வளரவேண்டும். பெலன் அடையவேண்டும். கொரிந்து சபை அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலால் பல ஆண்டுகள் பல்வேறு அறிவுரைகள் கூறி நடத்தப்பட்டபின்னரும் பலம் அடையவில்லை. (1 கொரிந்தியர் 3: 2)  எனவே அவர்கள் பெலனடையவேண்டுமென்று அவர் அறிவுரை கூறுகின்றார். காரணம், கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் ஒரு மனிதன் பெலன்கொள்ளும் போதுதான் அவன் பாக்கியவானாக இருப்பான். 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நாம், "உம்மிலே பெலன்கொள்ளுகிற மனுஷனும், தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் செவ்வையான வழிகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள்" என வாசிக்கின்றோம். அது என்ன  ஆசீர்வாதம்? அடுத்த வசனத்தில் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுகிறார்,  "அழுகையின் பள்ளத்தாக்கை உருவ நடந்து அதை நீரூற்றாக்கிக் கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; மழையும் குளங்களை நிரப்பும்." ( சங்கீதம் 84 : 6 ) அதாவது வாழ்வின் துன்பங்கள் துயரங்கள் மறைந்து மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார்கள். வறண்ட நிலத்தில் மழைபொழிந்து குளங்களை நிரப்புவதுபோல அவர்கள் வாழ்க்கைச் செழிப்படையும்.

நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இருதய சுத்தத்தைப்பற்றி கூறும்போது, "இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 5 : 8 ) என்றார். அன்பானவர்களே எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள், காணக்கூடாத தேவனை நாம் தரிசிக்கவேண்டுமானால் நமது இருதயம் சிறு குழந்தைகளின் இருதயம்போலச்  சுத்தமாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்கின்றார். இதனால்தான் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் இருதயங்களில் செவ்வையான வழிகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்கள்  பாக்கியவான்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இன்று மனிதர்கள் கடவுளைத் தரிசிக்க ஆலயம் ஆலயமாக ஓடுகின்றார்கள். புனித ஸ்தலங்களுக்குச் செல்கின்றார்கள். பல்வேறு நோன்புகள், உடலை வருத்தும்  பல்வேறுசெயல்களைச் செய்கின்றனர். காணிக்கைகளுக்கும் நேர்ச்சைகளுக்கும குறைவில்லை. ஆனால் இப்படியெல்லாம் செய்தும்  தேவனை அவர்களால் தரிசிக்க முடியவில்லை.  காரணம் இருதய சுத்தமில்லாமை; வைராக்கிய எண்ணங்கள். 

ஆம், இருதயத்தை மாற்றாமல் நாம் செய்யும் எந்தச் செயல்பாடுகள் மூலமும் நாம் தேவனை வாழ்விலே அறிய முடியாது. ஆலயங்களில் முன்னுரிமை பெறுவதில் போட்டியும் பொறாமையும் கொண்ட மனிதர்களைத் தேவன் எப்படிச் சகிக்கமுடியும்? எப்படி அவர்களுக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்த முடியும்? தனக்குப் பிடிக்காத ஒருவரை மகள் காதலித்துத் திருமணம் முடித்து விட்டாள் என்பதற்காக மகள் என்றும் பாராமல் படுகொலைச்செய்யும் வைராக்கிய இருதயமுள்ள இரக்கமில்லாத தகப்பன் மற்றவர்களை எப்படி நேசிக்க முடியும்? இத்தகைய மனமுள்ளவர்கள்  எப்படித் தேவனை நெருங்கவோ அவரை அறியவோ முடியும்? ஆனால் அவர்களும் ஜெபிக்கின்றார்கள்!!!

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனில் பெலன்கொண்டு வளர ஆசைகொண்டு முயலுவோம். அப்படி முயன்று பெலன்கொள்ளுகிற மனுஷனும், தங்கள் இருதயங்களில் செவ்வையான வழிகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களும் உண்மையிலேயே பாக்கியவான்கள். வேத வசனம் வெறுமனே எழுதப்பட்ட கட்டுக்கதையல்ல; வாழ்வில் நிஜமாக பலிக்கும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகள் அவை.

                                PURITY IN HEART

"Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them." (Psalms 84: 5)

The sacrifices and offerings we make to God are not great for Him; Instead, He wants our hearts to be clean. He also does not listen to applications made without purity of heart. (Isaiah 1:15) God wants people to know Him and live a life that suits Him.

A man must not only know Christ but grow in the experience of Christ day by day. Strength should be achieved. The Corinthian church was not strong even after being led by the apostle Paul for many years with various instructions. (1 Corinthians 3:2) So he exhorts them to be strong. Because a man is blessed only when he is blessed in Christ.

This is what we read in today's meditation verse, "Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.” What blessing is that? In the next verse the psalmist says, "Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools." (Psalms 84: 6) That means the sufferings of life will disappear and they will be happy. Their life flourishes as the rain falls on a dry land and fills the ponds.

Our Lord Jesus Christ also said about purity of heart, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." ( Matthew 5 : 8 ) Beloved, he says, if we want to see the invisible God, our hearts must be as pure as the hearts of little children. This is why the psalmist says that blessed are those who have upright ways in their hearts.

Today people run from temple to temple to visit God. They go to holy places. They perform various fasts and do various things that upset the body. There was no shortage of offerings and greetings. But despite doing all this, they could not see God. The cause is impurity of heart; Jealous thoughts.

Yes, we cannot know God in life by any actions we do without changing our heart. How can God tolerate men who are competitive and jealous of getting priority in temples? How can He expose Him to them? How can a jealous and heartless father love other, who kills his own daughter because she fell in love with someone he didn't like? How can such minded people approach or know God? But they pray too!!!

Beloved, let us strive to grow strong in God. Blessed indeed are the men who strive and gain, and those who have upright ways in their hearts. The scriptures are not simply written fables; They are the words of God that are real.
