உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காக மட்டும் / ONLY FOR WORLDLY BLESSINGS

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,024,              நவம்பர் 17, 2023 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"அவர்கள் தங்கள் படுக்கைகளில் அலறுகிறபோது, தங்கள் இருதயத்தில் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறதில்லை; அவர்கள் தானியத்துக்காகவும் திராட்சைரசத்துக்காகவும் கூடுகிறார்கள்; என்னை வெறுத்து விலகிப்போகிறார்கள்." ( ஓசியா 7 : 14 )

மெய்யான மனம் திரும்புதலின்றி தங்களுக்கு ஏதாவது துன்பமோ பிரச்சனைகளோ ஏற்படும்போது மட்டும் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபிக்கும் மக்களைக் குறித்து  இன்றைய தியான வசனம்  கூறுகின்றது. 

இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் துன்பங்களோ  வியாதிகளோ நெருக்கும்போது தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையதுபோன்ற காரியங்களில் அதிகமாக ஈடுபடுவார்கள். ஜெபம், தவம், காணிக்கைகள், ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்லுதல் எனத் தங்கள் வாழ்க்கை முறைகளில் சில மாறுதல்களைச்  செய்வார்கள். ஆனால், பொதுவாக இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தன்னைத் தேடவில்லை என்று வருத்தத்துடன் கூறுகின்றார் தேவன். 

இதனையே, "தங்கள் இருதயத்தில் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறதில்லை; அவர்கள் தானியத்துக்காகவும் திராட்சைரசத்துக்காகவும் கூடுகிறார்கள்; என்னை வெறுத்து விலகிப்போகிறார்கள்." என்று இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதாவது, தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணத்தில் தேவனிடம் வராமல் தங்கள் உலகத் தேவைகள் சந்திக்கப்படவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக இப்படி பக்திகாரியங்களில் ஈடுபடுகின்றார்கள் என்கின்றார் தேவன்.  

இதனையே தொடர்ந்து ஓசேயா மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "திரும்புகிறார்கள், ஆனாலும் உன்னதமானவரிடத்திற்கு அல்ல; மோசம்போக்குகிற வில்லைப்போலிருக்கிறார்கள்; " ( ஓசியா 7 : 16 ) அதாவது இத்தனைக் காலமும் வாழ்ந்த வாழ்க்கை முறைகளை மாற்றி தேவனிடம் திரும்பியதுபோல ஒரு தோற்றம் இருக்கின்றதே தவிர உன்னத தேவனிடம் உண்மையாகத் திரும்பவில்லை என்கின்றார். இதனையே, "திரும்புகிறார்கள், ஆனாலும் உன்னதமானவரிடத்திற்கு  அல்ல" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அன்பானவர்களே, பலவேளைகளில் தேவன் நமக்குப்  பதிலளிக்காமல் இருக்கக் காரணம் இதுதான். அதாவது அந்த நேரத்திற்கான ஒரு விடுதலையினை மனிதர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார்களேத்  தவிர நிரந்தரமான ஒரு விடுதலையினை அடையவேண்டும் என்று விரும்பவில்லை. தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணமும் அவர்களுக்கு இல்லை.

ஆனாலும், தேவன் மனிதர்கள்மீது தான் கொண்டுள்ள அன்பினால் பலவேளைகளில் தனது ஊழியர்கள் ஜெபிக்கும்போது இத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்குத் தற்காலிக விடுதலையினைக் கொடுக்கின்றார்.  ஆனால் அது போதாது. ஒவ்வொரு நேரத்துக்கும் ஊழியர்களைத்தேடி சுகம் பெற முடியாது. தொடர்ந்து மனம்திரும்பாத நிலையில் ஒரு மனிதன் இருப்பானேயானால் தேவன் விடுதலையளிக்காமல் அப்படியே விட்டுவிடலாம். மேலும் சரீர சுகம் பெறுவது நமது இலக்கல்ல; மாறாக நாம் தேவனை அறிந்து நித்திய ஜீவனுக்குத்  தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகவேண்டும். 

தானியத்துக்காகவும் திராட்சைரசத்துக்காகவும் கூடி தேவனைவிட்டு விலகிப்போகும் மனிதர்களைப்போல நாம் இருக்கக் கூடாது. அவரை வாழ்வில் அறியவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வமுடன் அவரைத் தேடி தேவ அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். நம்மைக்குறித்த தேவனது எதிர்பார்ப்பு இதுதான். அவரது மன விருப்பத்துக்கு ஏற்ற ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

'AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION No:- 1,024,                            Friday, November 17, 2023

"And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me." (Hosea 7: 14)

Today's meditation verse talks about people who pray to God only when they have some suffering or problems without true repentance.

Such people seems to be more involved in things that are acceptable to God when suffering or illness is close. They will make some changes in their lifestyle like prayer, penance, offerings, visiting temples. But God says with sadness that usually such people do not seek Him.

That is, "they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine." In other words, God says that they engage in such pious activities to meet their worldly needs without coming to God with the intention of knowing God in life.

Following this, God says through Hosea, "They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow:" (Hosea 7: 16). Which means that they have changed their lifestyles and returned to God, but they have not truly returned to the Most High God. This is what is said, "They return, but not to the Most High."

Beloved, this is the reason why God often does not answer us. That is, people expect a liberation for that time but do not want to achieve a permanent liberation. They have no idea to know God in their life.

However, God, out of His love for people, sometimes gives temporary relief to such people when His servants pray. But that is not enough. It is not always possible to find pastors to pray for us. If a person is persistently unrepentant, God may leave him without deliverance. Further, physical deliverance is not our goal; Rather, we must know God and become worthy of eternal life.

We must not be like men who gather for grain and wine and turn away from God. We should seek Him with the desire to know Him in life and gain the experience of God. This is God's expectation of us. Let us commit ourselves to living a life according to His will.
