என் வசனத்துக்கு நடுங்குகின்றவன் / HE WHO TRUMBLE MY WORDS

 'ஆதவன்' வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,023,              நவம்பர் 16, 2023 வியாழக்கிழமை

"என்னுடைய கரம் இவைகளையெல்லாம் சிருஷ்டித்ததினால் இவைகளெல்லாம் உண்டாயின என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; ஆனாலும் சிறுமைப்பட்டு, ஆவியில் நொறுங்குண்டு, என் வசனத்துக்கு நடுங்குகிறவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன்." ( ஏசாயா 66 : 2 )

இன்றைய வசனம் தேவன் மனிதர்கள்மேல் எவ்வளவு ஈடுபாடு கொண்டுள்ளார் என்பதையும் அவர்களை மீட்டெடுக்க அவர் எவ்வளவு ஆர்வமுள்ளவராக இருக்கின்றார் என்பதனையும்  விளக்குகின்றது. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முந்தின வசனமானது இதனோடு தொடர்புடையது. அதில் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "வானம் எனக்குச் சிங்காசனம், பூமி எனக்குப் பாதபடி; நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? நான் தங்கியிருக்கும் ஸ்தலம் எப்படிப்பட்டது?"( ஏசாயா 66 : 1 )

அன்பானவர்களே, வானத்திலுள்ள சூரியன், சந்திரன், விண்மீன்கள், பால்வெளிவீதி, சூரிய குடும்பத்தைப்போல பல்வேறு சூரிய குடும்பங்கள் இவையெல்லாமே தேவன் படைத்தவைதான். இவைகளுக்குமேல் அதிகாரம் செலுத்தும் சிங்காசனம் அவருடையது. இவைகளோடு  ஒப்பிடும்போது பூமி அவர் கால் வைக்கும் சிறு படி போன்றதுதான்.  ஆனால் இன்று மனிதர்கள் இந்தக் கால்படிபோன்ற பூமியில் அவருக்கென்று ஆலயம் கட்டுவதையும் ஆலயப்பணிசெய்வதையும் பெருமையாக எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். 

அத்தகைய மனிதர்களைப்பார்த்துத்  தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், வானம் எனக்குச் சிங்காசனம், பூமி எனக்குப் பாதபடி; நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? நான் தங்கியிருக்கும் ஸ்தலம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? என்னுடைய கரம் இவைகளையெல்லாம் சிருஷ்டித்ததினால் இவைகளெல்லாம் உண்டாயின என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; ஆனாலும் சிறுமைப்பட்டு, ஆவியில் நொறுங்குண்டு, என் வசனத்துக்கு நடுங்குகிறவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன்." அதாவது மனிதனே, நான் இவ்வளவு பெரிய ஆகாய விரிவை உண்டாகியிருக்கிறேன். இதற்குமுன் நீ எனக்குக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எம்மாத்திரம்? 

நான் இவைகளை நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பதில்லை. சிறுமைப்பட்டு, ஆவியில் நொறுங்குண்டு, என் வசனத்துக்கு நடுங்குகிறவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன். எனது வசனத்தைக்கைக் கொண்டு, எனக்கு அஞ்சி, எனக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவனை நான் நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேனேத் தவிர  வேறு எவரையும் நான் நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பதில்லை. நான் உண்டாக்கின பெரிய ஆகாய விரிவையோ அவற்றில் நான் உருவாக்கிய பல்வேறு கிரகங்களையோ நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பதைவிட எனக்குப் பயப்பட்டு எனக்கு ஏற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ விரும்பும் மனிதனையே நான் நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன் என்கின்றார் பரிசுத்தரான கர்த்தர். 

இதற்குக் காரணம் தேவன் மனிதனைத் தனது சாயலாகவும் ரூபமாகவும் உண்டாக்கியதுதான். (ஆதியாகமம் - 1;26) தேவன் தனது சாயலையும் ரூபத்தையும் வேறு எந்த உயிரினங்களுக்கும் கொடுக்கவில்லை. மனிதனை மட்டுமே அப்படிப் படைத்தார். அப்படிப் படைக்கப்பட்ட மனிதன் அந்தச் சாயலை காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று அவர் விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே, தான் எவ்வளவோ பெரிய படைப்புகளைப் படைத்திருந்தாலும் அவற்றைவிட தனது கட்டளைகளுக்கு நடுங்கிக் கீழ்ப்படியும் மனிதனை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கின்றார்.

இப்படி அவர் மனிதனை நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பதால்தான் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதில் தருகின்றார். அன்பானவர்களே, எனவே நாம் அவரது வசனங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதற்கு  அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கவேண்டுமேத் தவிர இதர சடங்கு சம்பிரதாயங்களுக்கல்ல. ஆம், அவருக்காகச் செய்யும் எந்த மேலான செயல்பாடுகளையும்விட அவருக்குக் கீழ்படிவத்தையே தேவன் விரும்புகின்றார் எனும் எண்ணம் நமக்குள் எப்போதும் இருக்குமானால் ஆன்மிகம் எனும் பெயரில் செய்யப்படும் தேவையில்லாத காரியங்களுக்கு நாம் முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கமாட்டோம்.

‘AATHAVAN' BIBLE MEDITATION - No:- 1,023,                             Thursday, November 16, 2023

"For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." ( Isaiah 66 : 2 )

Today's verse explains how much God is involved with people and how eager he is to redeem them. The previous verse of today's meditation is related to this. In it God says, "Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?" (Isaiah 66: 1)

Beloved, the sun, moon, constellations, milky way, solar system in the sky are all created by God. His is the throne of authority over these. Compared to these, the earth is like a small step on which he steps. But today people take pride in building a temple and doing temple work on this footstep like earth.

God says to such people, Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool; How is the temple you are building for me? How was my accommodation? For my hand hath made all these things, saith the Lord; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. That is, man, I have been created such a vast space. What temple could you build for me before this?

I do not look at these. I will look upon him who is humbled and crushed in spirit and trembles at my word. I look to none other than the one who lives according to my verse, fears me, and lives according to me. Rather than looking at the great expanse of sky that I have created or the various planets that I have created in them, I will look at the man who fears me and wants to live a life that suits me, says the Holy Lord.

This is because God made man in His own image and likeness. (Genesis – 1:26) God did not give His likeness to any other creature. He only created man that way. He wants man so created to preserve that image. Therefore, no matter how great works He has created, He looks to man who trembles and obeys His commands.

He answers our prayers because He looks at man like this. Beloved, therefore we should give more importance to obedience to His verses and not to other ritualistic practices. Yes, if we always have the idea that God prefers obedience to Him more than any higher activities done for Him, we will not give importance to unnecessary things done in the name of spirituality.
